not to sound completely bitchy but i do hope lip fillers go out of style soon. first of all i've always thought it has some really weird racial implications for white women to suddenly be treating big lips like a fashion trend but second of all i genuinely think it just makes people look like they have a medical issue most of the time. also one time when i was little i watched an episode of 1000 ways to die where a woman's breast implant exploded on a plane and tbh my brain just imagines people's lips doing that whenever they have too much filler in

#im just. like it used to basically just be celebrities who did cosmetic procedures #like maybe ur mom woulda known someone in high school who got a nose job or smth but like fairly uncommon in my experience #now it feels like half the women at walmart are full of botox and not only am i concerned about the widespread body dysmorphia of it all #but like.... where are we getting all this plastic? aren't we in a climate crisis do u rly need it in your face #not to mention surgeries in general are the most energy-demanding thing hospitals do #so do we rly need a bunch of people doing unnecessary surgeries en masse?#if ur considering lip fillers maybe try therapy instead? like i don't wanna be mean but it's a similar price #and it's much better for both the individual and the world #bri babbles
