OHHHHH GOOD QUESTION. uhHHhHHH a lot of em dashes. i am trying to rein it in after dunking on s/j/m all the time but yeah. em dashes. i also tend to do a lot of paragraph breaks, which nicole can corroborate bc she keeps condensing my paragraphs when she edits. and also i like to do a lot of dialogue. and a lot of natural dialogue. hell yeah. i think that’s it

17. Do you think readers perceive your work - or you - differently to you? What do you think would surprise your readers about your writing or your motivations?

mmm. good question. i think i am perceived a lot as a squishy little marshmallow for all of my fluff, but like i want to rip your hearts out. i very much want to make people cry. i think it's FUN when i get comments like "hey. hey what the FUCK are u doing." i want people ON THEIR TOES. i do not think people remember my DSN days, which is funny. but yes people also get it right that i am a big softie, but i am like. the kirby meme with the knife. i will hurt u and i will look adorable doing it

DSN had a lot of symbolism and a lot of thought behind it and there's so much i could get into with so many specific scenes, so if anyone wants to know about a specific scene, hmu i will ramble about it. but otherwise idk!!! a lot of my newer work has references to DSN, but lately my newer thing has been including references either to mythology or whatever classes i've had around the time of writing certain fics. like my adashi fic "if the crown fits (when the sword lifts)" had fight scenes that were basically me going "I Have Internalized So Many Gladiator / Ancient Roman Movies That I Need A Fight Scene With Politics Behind It Very Badly," and stuff like that, uhhh d&d has played a role in more of my writing, especially behind fight scenes, bc i am taking into consideration a lot of d&d battle mechanics just like. subconsciously. OH ALSO. ALSO. ALSO. STEALING OUR OWN PLACE IN THE SUN AKA THE FIX-IT FIC HAS VERY OBVIOUS ANSWERS AS TO WHO TRIED TO KILL KEITH or at least i thought i made them obvious but then people kept guessing wrong and i was like OH??? WAIT I DID A GOOD JOB OBSCURING THE TRUE ANSWER??? anyway i love hearing people's theories about who tried to kill keith. heehoo
