Kinda EAPS spoilers? (wowzers my first Eclipse & Puppet show spoilers?) (don’t let me say wowzers again)

So another PAM Podcast, huh? That’s nice!! (Imma say PAM Podcast btw cus idk about calling it PAMP, it sounds like that one diaper brand. Pampers.)

But honestly that Podcast kinda confirmed the little thoughts I had while circling Francis & Frank in my mind?

Cus while I kinda classified Frank as the “negative side, but has his positive moments” like Ice Cream & their relationship with Ruin Monty (or Ronty as the other fans called him, and Click as I called him)…

…but I mentally imagined Francis (after I first heard them say “whatever makes you happy” which I think I first processed when they said it to Monty & FC about the leaving/staying predicament) as the positive person who tries to be a people person, and puts more focus on making others happy than themself happy

and I think the show just confirmed him as a People Pleaser?

Like everything they said, even when Monty basically threatened his life, as he said was whatever made them happy!!

no matter what they asked, as long as it made them happy, that was all he cared about!!

And sure, while he did say he can’t feel any bit of negative energy (or something along those lines) because he’s positive energy…

we’ve seen Frank be happy. At least I’m pretty sure. Like definitely about the Ice Cream thing

So Francis could probably feel negative. And it’s messed up, but I kinda want him to XD

Like I want him to have that breakdown, figuring out if what makes others happy - or even making others happy period - really makes himself happy

In short (or TL:DR): Francis is probably canonically a people pleasure as I mentally headcanon’d, and I now want more Francis angst XD

God Games

I absolutely love this song. It’s fun, it’s catchy, and the visuals on the livestream were spectacular!

And speaking of the visuals, I have some thoughts to share that seized me just after the livestream.

Before we begin though, I do want to say that I do love the animated visuals we got in the stream! They are all so beautiful and I could NOT look away! Zeus going Beast Mode? Amazing. Athena fighting her way up the stairs? Aweing.

So this is in no way criticizing the visuals, or Jorge’s vision of them! I just want to share something I think is cool, and wanted to share :3

In short, I think it would have been cool if the other gods had been involved in the final part of God Games- but not in the way you think.

Hear me out.

Long version:

Let me set the scene. Let's see if I can explain the visuals in my head.

We're at the moment Zeus goes Beast Mode. He's going "THUN-DER, BRING. HER. THROUGH. THE. WRINNGEERRR" you know the part.

and as "SHOW HER I'M THE JUDGEMENT CALL, THE ONE WHO MAKES HER KINGDOM FALL" is said, we flash between Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Ares, and Hera, before landing on Athena, all looking up at the thundering god, wind rushing around them.

They are all wearing various levels of worry/concern/"uh-oh", because Zeus has gone Beast Mode...and then Athena gets struck.

We cut to Ares saying, and looking distinctly concerned, "Is she dead?"

Camera pans out to show Athena lying on the ground, smoke coming off of her, deeply injured.

The slow Warrior of the Mind motif plays. Apollo's the first to move, checking on her, and we slowly zoom onto Athena's face as she blearily opens her eyes.

Camera change: we're now in Athena-vision. Everything is blurry. Then the faint outlines of Odysseus, Penelope, and baby Telemachus (like in the livestream) slowly come into focus. They get clearer, and towards the end of the slow motif, Athena blinks, blinks again, and we have a clear image of all five of the gods hovering over her.

The music swells. Apollo offers his hand out to her, and Athena grasps it. She clasps Hephaestus's next, and Aphrodite and Ares take her arms, while Hera does so from behind.

They help her up, Athena leaning a bit on the others as she stares at Zeus, who has calmed down, and looking at them.

Athena, bleeding heavily, still says; "Let him go, please. Let him go." And passes out.

End scene.

It's a lot more dramatic in my head (as all things are) but I hope this is all cohesive! XD

So why do I like this idea?

Because it shows that the gods have solidarity. As much as they hurt each other, they do, in fact, love each other too. The five gods in God Games know that Athena won fair and square, and that Zeus is being unreasonable. And let me be clear: Zeus is not a tyrant. The other gods keep him in check, which is what would be happening here. The five of them helping Athena would be enough to snap Zeus out of his rage and ego-trip.

Speaking of Zeus, this would also give him time to cool down and realize how rash he’s being, something he has done in the mythology! (ie, calming down before throwing Apollo into Tartarus) In fact, he's calmed down after the interference of other gods, so this would track well with the mythology too :3 (ie, Leto was the one who got him to rethink the Tartarus idea)

"But would the other gods even help Athena?" Some of you may be asking- I say yes. Apollo and Athena in the myths are actually very friendly with each other! Hephaestus and Athena were on the same side of the Trojan War! Aphrodite has no real beef with Athena, and while it's a popular idea that Ares and Athena hate each other, that's simply not true either. And Hera? She and Athena were practically besties in The Iliad. They all would help her, especially if it would temper Zeus's anger and stop him from causing too much damage.

Again, I loved the visuals on the livestream!! There is no doubt about that!!

It's just this juicy idea came to me after the live-listen and I've been stewing over it since :3

- Lute is very openly arguing in court against Sera and Abel and there’s a hilarious exchange when she learns she’s not head exorcist + she begs Sera more after the trial too

- Abel is the leader of the exorcists even though Adam didn’t like him - he’s a pacifist and either dating or besties with St Peter

- Pentious wants to go back to hell with his friends and Emily tries to get him happy there and makes heavenly egg bois for him (song is on TikTok and the worst of those released - kinda welcome to heaven like in quality… least favorite so far)

- The Sailor moon esque character referred to in some interviews is the speaker of god, who resembles Stolas and his family… leaving many to speculate if they are fallen angels

- Alastor was a serial killer who promised a mysterious task for Rosie, who owns his soul until he completes it - he was mistaken for a deer and shot but became the most powerful sinner in hell in return - they have a super catchy cute 1920s duet (also on TikTok - mimzy cameo on top of his piano in his flashback too)

- Awesome banter with Lucifer and Alastor (Cheri and Angel watching and Angel tells Lucifer he should have moved in sooner)

- Vees giving hotel bad press and somehow potentially involved Charlie hitting Velvete and harping on how she didn’t “closed fist hit” her while Vaggie tries to get her to let it go and stay at the hotel + cute I love you exchange but also more steamrolling by Charlie not listening to her GF…

- there’s official art of Alastor restrained and I’ve heard things about Vox threatening to rape him but I’ve not found this myself and heard it was a fake Russian hack? Idk

- pilot from 2019 is NOT cannon, with Charlie meeting Killjoy for the first time and reaffirming that she is bisexual (lots of homophobia) + she has nifty with her!

Ok what am I missing? I didn’t find anything for husk and only those single scenes for Angel, Lucifer, and Vaggie. I’ve heard it was mostly the first two episodes but I hope these three don’t get neglected and it’s just that the first 2 eps are more Heaven/Lute/Alastor focused

For an actually good Kirby movie idea that still has the mandated "relatable real person": Kirby's clash with Eifilis (which takes place on Shiver Star) causes Kirby to be sent back in time to when Earth was Earth, leading to Kirby making friends with a struggling autistic kid. Kirby, wanting to make sure his new friend stays alive, brings him into the future... Unfortunately, this kid was important to the future of Kirby, being the basis of Zero's negative energy, so Kirby is faced with a dilemma: fix his present, and cause the kid to suffer, or sit in an unfamiliar future, with a friend whose no longer in pain.

Ooh, I think you've got something GOOD going here! In combination with @newthinkerer’s “Kirby movies by decade” this feels like a movie plot that really could have happened! (Give or take the use of the Forgotten Land and Elfilis as major plot points, which would otherwise necessitate it as a “newish” thing.)

Now, I'm a child of the 80s >w> so I can easily envision this as an undiscovered 2D animated movie of that era, in the vein of like, the Rainbow Brite movie, that ends up with surprising amounts of heart despite also playing a little fast and loose with canon! (And experiences a revival in light of the terrible Hollywood Kirby! XD)

It would probably also have a weirdly catchy earworm of an ending song that would have the hardcores combing through used stores and internet archives trying to find the cleanest rip of... (COUGH)

DMD GEN3 Fan Meeting in Bangkok "Friendship Never Ends" Fancams links & my personal notes

Disclaimer: I watched all the performances on my Twitter timeline. All the photos, videos, clips are not mine. This is just for archival purpose.

I think of fan meeting as a way for a company (especially small like DMD) getting more money to invest in their productions and pay their talents. Therefore, even though the performances might not be perfect, I still view them positively and try to appreciate them for what they are. I know there are people dislike actors singing and dancing, call them "idol wannabe" but a fanmeeting is 3-5 hours long, you cannot entertain your fans by just playing games. Besides, some actors actually enjoy performing and some consider it a way to pay back for fans. So yeah, in general, I don't mind actors singing and dancing. If I don't like it, I will just ignore. And I have soft spots for the DMD Boys always, there's that.

GEN 3 – ศูนย์รวมความน่ารัก (Cuteness Center)

I unironically love this song. I love boy group, bubble gum pop songs. And this song is just like that. Simple cutesy catchy. This fancam is the only full member fancam I can find on Youtube.

SOLO PERFORMANCES:

They cut it short so each performance is around 2 minutes. I enjoyed all of them. I don't know if they all just stood behind the doors waiting but I can kinda see some of them in some camera angles XD My favorite solo performances is TeeTee's (boy group pop song, tropical vibe). My most surprising performances are Namping's and Firstone's, they both usually sing but they tried something new this time.

The reason why Mark was in the bear costume until the very end, I believe, was to surprise fans. Because before this, they showed a VCR where all the established pairs in Gen 3 were all paired up (duh?) via lucky draws. It ended with TeeTee, Latte and Gems opened their draws and acted surprised. And then Gems started his performance on his own, tricking fans into thinking he would perform solo again I supposed.

There are better fancams on Twitter but they are all vertical and I don't like how Twitter requires login to view so...Anyways, Gems is cute and Mark has long hair XD

LatteKim — "ต้องชอบแค่ไหน (FIRST LOVE)" by PRETZELLE

Latte was just so endearingly bad at dancing I couldn't help but falling in love with him. He know he's not good but still he earnestly tried his best :") It is better if he has something to act on (i.e a storyline, or with another characters rather than alone on stage). The way he pulled Kim in and Kim's reaction at the end, I was screaming. I was a fan that was satisfyingly served. Nice song too, +1 in the playlist.

PorTeeTee — "ดีดี (UNEXPECTED)" by JAYLERRxPARIS

Cuties 🥺 Love the bubble gum pop song, the idol boyfriends vibe. They are good at dancing and singing. Added a new song to my playlist +2. I was a fan that was satisfyingly served +2.

Por also posted on Twitter about taking his personal in-ear monitors out for this stage and feeling thankful to be on stage again after a long time, and I'm like :') I don't know if those are the same one he got when he was in DVI, but still :') His ex bandmate also replied to the in-ear monitors tweet :') (I know he technically got on stage before in the DMD Charity but it was more for funsies and not officially with elaborated stages and back-up dancers like this). Happy for him and TeeTee for getting the chances to do what they love as parts of their jobs.

TleFirstone — "Die with A Smile" by Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars (+ a little interview after the performance)

When it comes to singing, TleFirstone always delivered. Great harmony. They sang it a little "lighter" (if that makes sense?). However, I have listened to the original too many times, I just cannot listen to this more than twice without getting tired :'( which is a shame. Also, why did they stand 5 feet apart, finding a decent photo with both of them in it is hard =)))))

Tle apparently got sick when practicing just 1-2 days before the fanmeeting and had to get an injection and then hurriedly went back to practice :(

ThomasKong — "Green Tea & Honey" by Dane Amar

They were having so much fun together and so was I :"). Cute and romantic. The song is not for me but still, I was a fan that was satisfyingly served +3.

KengNamping — "งานเต้นรำในคืนพระจันทร์เต็มดวง (A Dance on the Night of a Full Moon)" by Cocktail ft. New Napatsorn

They sang beautifully and they got a little dance together near the end. And then Keng just starred at Namping for at least solid 10 seconds before lightly brush Namping's hair. I felt like a Victorian man seeing a woman's ankle for the first time. I was a fan that was satisfyingly served +4. Added a new song to my playlist +3.

Namping Official Fanclub tweeted to say thank you to every FC in this project and for Kong Official Fanclub, they are thankful that although they fought at that time, they still cooperated to finish the project XD.

There is this one line in the video that I really like "For as long as I exist, you will be loved." (which may or may not inspire me to write a love story.)

Conclusion:

Everyone is great. They have improved a lot :") All the performaces are enjoyable to me. Love how many fans came for their faves but still wholeheartedly supported and cheered for everyone in Gen 3, and even Marks, Kim and Por. I saw many accounts that dedicated to one members posting fancams and praising other members. Remind me of K-pop fandom a lot :") A nice fandom experience. 10/10 ❤️❤️❤️

Apparently Azul called for him while you two were chatting, and there he is, looking absolutely exhausted after the discussion they had. You actually wondered what that was about since everyone seemed rather hyped up for an unknown to you upcoming event.

“Now now, Floyd,” Jade approached you, refilling your drink as you threw a quick suspicious glance at them, grinning slightly. “Don’t rush it.”

“It’s boring,” Floyd replied, taking a seat next to you. “Plus, Shrimpie doesn’t like it when we’re just throwing hints and such. Right, Shrimpie?”

“Right you are,” you nodded. “So, what’s the deal?”

“Azul’s going to hold a karaoke night!!” Floyd announced quite excitedly, waiting for you to react, and attempted to squeeze you once glimpses of interest appeared in your eyes, but you quickly dodged.

“Sounds nice,” you answered. “You want me to perform or what? I don’t think I can pull off any of Twisted Wonderland songs though, they’re still rather unfamiliar, but if you give me some time, then…”

“Quite the opposite, Prefect,” now it was Azul who appeared before you, giving you a project plan, perfectly neat and nicely arranged as always. “We would like you to sing something from your world.”

You pressed a finger to your chin, lost in thoughts. The idea itself was quite appealing but that meant you needed to translate a song to Twisted Wonderland language, moreover, which concept exactly should you consider, and what about outfit, makeup and—

“Of course we’re not putting any pressure on you!” Azul announced, adjusting the glasses on the bridge of his nose. “If you’re worried about the cost, then leave it to us. Also regarding the translation of the song, we can help you too. Just choose something catchy and remarkable, you’re our rising star, after all.”

“Great then,” you agreed, putting your sign on the contract he pulled out of nowhere, much to Floyd and Jade’s delight. “I’ll leave everything to you then, but… I’ll translate the song myself. Just provide me with some amount of money after I calculate everything.”

“It’s a deal then~” Azul hummed. “I’m awaiting your performance.”

Next day you show up a bit earlier than expected. Octavinelle trio turns to you, as if questioning why you came up when it’s literally two hours before the show starts, but you reassuringly smile. 

“Good evening, everyone. If you’re wondering why I came that early, then well…” you show them a heavily-looking bag you brought with you. “I need to get ready. Oh and please make sure no one enters the dressing room while I’m there, alright? I don’t want to ruin a surprise.”

“Don’t worry, Shrimpie!~” Floyd reassures you. 

“Good luck today, Prefect,” Jade nods.

“Oh I won’t disappoint you.”

And with that you enter the dressing room, ready to impress.

—♡ VIL SCHOENHEIT praises your outfit choice and makeup skills the very second he sees you getting up on the stage. It’s dark, and the music has no instrumental intro, so you’re just standing there, waiting for the lights to turn on, and the moment you say the very first word of the lyrics, he’s immersed into your performance.

—♡ He saw the pamphlet, a song from your world translated to their language sounded quite intriguing, but he couldn’t even think you would choose such an… idiomatic song. 

—♡ He also assumes there’s a dance to this song, but you don’t move much due to the outfit and because there’s karaoke night being held after all, not an idol-like show. But he still catches what he guesses is supposed to be signature moves. 

—♡ He’s a performer himself, so he’s highly concentrated on your devotion, and needless to say you polished this song to perfection. 

—♡ He wonders if you’re implying some message to students, given you’re the only female in this school, and the way you grin slyly makes him realize that you definitely are trying to say something through the song. 

—♡ “The way I talk is kinda dumb But I’ve got a sexy, sexy figure” is definitely an allusion to how people preserved you when you first got here, and Vil’s ready to make sure you’re not getting unwanted attention and any misconceptions. Hi! I'm a big fan of your blog! The past few weeks, I've been reading almost exclusively fics from your rec lists. It's very great! I was curious if you have seen Sherlock The Musical? Its fantastic, super catchy, and free to watch on youtube! I highly recommend, especially if you like musicals :D

Oh also, the musical is the one that came out in 2022. The official recording of the whole musical is on youtube, as well as the whole soundtrack! You can listen to the soundtrack on Spotify too! My favorite song is probably Elementary. If you're listening to the music, you can listen up to A Different Story relatively spoiler free. It's a super great story. Set in the original timeline of the books. It's a super fun time and not enough people know about it. Sherlock and John have such great chemistry in it!!! XD

Balan from Balan Wonderworld, I don't know anything about the game but this character Balan, I... I really liked him NGL X3, I think he's really cute and awesome looking he is😊. Anyways, he's more related to Nights. Well, I don't know about Sonic, but let's just say kinda related... or something, eh, but anyways, the reason why I draw him, it's because of the nice hat on the eyes, nic3 glitter, white suit, and his green teal hair thread... and also his beautiful yellow eyes☺️. I liked it. I said I don't play the game yet. It could be interesting to play it in the future, and what's the game all about😁.

(New) Cannon/ Mostly Cannon Facts About Ozzie.

JMI's new livestream was today, and you can guess who watched it lol. Anyway, here's Part One if y'all want to check it out.

DISCLAIMER: Take all of this with a pinch of salt because most of this is just what JMI thinks. Also I came in 12 minutes late so I may have missed something. Now let's get to it.

Ozzie and bee get along relatively well. In JMI's words, "they have their moments" and "they know how the hierarchy SHOULD work." Interesting...

If Oz could play a role in a broadway musical he would probably be the Moulin Rouge ringleader. Though JMI thinks it funny if he played George Washington from Hamilton and he wish's Ozzie could've played Phantom, but he's too sexy. (Ozzie as Phantom? TAKE MY MONEY AND TAKE IT NOW.)

Oz could squish mammon in full form just because he is way taller. (but that's likely WITHOUT them using magic.)

Fizz and Oz wedding? JMI has no clue but if there was it would be fire.

The song Oz would listen to and repeat would be (and he sings this part so I don't know if it a song or lyric) "can't get enough of your love, baby" because in his words, Ozzie "can't get enough of his love". The SWEETNESS AAGGGHHH.

Ozzie and Lucifer PROBABLY get along well. As long as Oz does his job and they don't mess with each other, they really don't have a reason to hate.

Ozzie probably likes Xmas carols cuz they're catchy.

Fizz is an awful cook. In JMI's words (in the Ozzie voice), he's "so cute, so sexy, but can't cook worth a damn." I mean we knew that but the way I bust out laughing XD.

Ozzie's fav food is may be barbecue ribs and wings (cannibalism??) But that may be (and most likely is) JMI projecting.

If Oz were to give Fizz Flowers, they would be white and blue roses (JMI admits that is cheesy. Which yes, but it's oh so in character for the both of them XD).

JMI SAID IT'S CANNON THAT OZ DOES NOT HOW TO USE ELECTRONICS THAT IS SO FUNNY.

(NOT RELATED IN ANY WAY BUT HE SAID HI TO MEEEE AAAGGHHHHH.)

Not a fact but a fan said Ozzie brand cereal would be called Ozzie-O's and I love that.

If the Ozzie liking barbecue wings is NOT cannon, then he may be horrified to see his workers eating Chicken.

Oz still not big on valentines.

He and Fizz WOULD sing "Baby It's Cold Outside" but Fizz would likely change it to (and I once again quote) "nasty, nasty lyrics".

And that's it folks. Once again, JMI is awesome, we love him, and Ozzie still remains one of my favorite characters.

This does remind all the way back in 2016 when KNY first came out, the fan translation of the early chapters did call the antagonists "oni" instead of demons, which I always felt was more appropriate for the japan theme and setting (plus so much manga already have demons for enemies)

My head still spins that "Hashira" didn't get translated because that word actually does have a one-to-one literal dictionary translation. XD My first thought when hearing "Demon Slayer" was "...that's it???"

But hey, catchiness has served in its favor; something like "Ogre-exterminating Blade" wouldn't be as marketable.

The 1.5 patch and Astra

So I started the 1.5 patch yesterday night late and finished Astra' special episode today.

I didn't have much of an opinion of Astra before apart from thinking that she was annoying and wasn't interested in her looks either but her special episode softened my stance on her and I ended up just liking hearing her sing during her ultimate, and well I ended up liking her enough to try to pull for her in the end.

Her special program still didn't wow me to hell and back like Harumasa's agent story did but it was pretty good, Evelyn was a queen. Astra was also cute.

This was the result of my pulls.

I got her easily. Guess that's what I get after failing to get Harumasa twice in a row for Rina instead, so the game sended me Astra to comfort me.

I'm not gonna bother with her w-engine though, I don't feel like she needs it. She's just gonna buff my team anyway, she already buffs my Miyabi like crazy and she is only at level 35 at the moment. Imagine when she'll be at full level.

Not gonna get her alternate outfit though.

Ellen's agent story was cute and enjoyable. But there are 2 things that I am more excited about than her after finishing Astra's program. Those are:

That gothic lolita woman with the umbrella to the left that I really am fond of her outfit, it reminds me a lot of Suigintou from Rozen Maiden, I am excited for her, hope she is gonna be playable soon.

Second thing is:

Hugo that you can see at the bottom, Lycaon's former friend now nemesis. I really want him to be playable as well.

As I am obsessed with these 2 and I am pretty sure that they will appear soon as new agents I'm just gonna start keeping my polychromes for them, so I'll be skipping Ellen, Evelyn and Qingyi. Gonna get Eve and Qingyi on the next reruns.

I did have a few hundred polychromes left after getting Astra, now I'm not touching her banner or Ellen's until then. Just gonna do pulls on the normal banners when I'll get the Master tapes.

Gotta give it to Hoyo for making me like a character that I really didn't want to pull for at first but ended up liking by the end of her story, Astra is good. I prefer Miyabi, but Astra is nice. Her music during her ultimate is also stupidly catchy so everytime I make her ult I just have a smile on my face as the rest of my team kills the enemy while dancing on her song. XD
