games where you're never ever able to change your name without restarting entirely are literally just unplayable when i don't know what i want to be called
#i got a new switch because i wanted to play animal crossing for my mental health#for some godforsaken reason to be able to transfer save data you have to do it from the original device not your new one#so because that old switch was WIPED I've lost that first island entirely#which means we HAVE to make a new one. which means we HAVE to pick a PERMANENT. SINGLE name#we don't even know which one of us is going to fucking play this most. and we don't have a host name to use as a default#and we're in the process of looking for a new body name so currently we don't have a collective name to fall under#AND there's the fact that we might play with family on this so we have to be fucking stealth which makes it more annoying and painful#i just want to play animal crossing please
