Different anon but I wish I could replay portal 2 but last time I tried I couldnt even get to outside of the little room you start off in because Wheatleys voice was so irritating i got overstimulated really fast and had to shut off the game. And like, I don’t find Stephen merchants voice annoying on its own it’s literally only when it’s him voicing Wheatley.

who is your video game beloved/s and why

Ok so buckle up bc I have A LOT. Thank u for asking anon u get me ❤ I'm always looking for excuses to ramble about my favourite video game characters

I'm not gonna do all of them bc then this post would be five miles long and if I put a read more then I think that would be embarrassing but if u want to hear more then pleaaaaase send another ask

The unfortunate truth is that when I first saw this ask the first characters i thought of were from league of legends (cringe) so I'm just gonna go for it and be real with yall.

My favourite league characters are probably Kindred, Rell, Rek'sai, Aphelios, and Pyke.

I like them all because of how fun they are to play, but Kindred I like moreso because of how pretty they are... the spirit blossom skin just does it for me.

I also like Rek'sai because she was in the roster for the first TFT season and she kinda sucked but I loved her and when I played her for the first time I was like oh shit!!!!!!

I liked Rell first because she was pretty, then I thought the aesthetic of her kit (magnetic horse armour) was cool, and then I got good at her and was like this fucks!!!!

And Pyke is pretty obvious. He's easy and fun to play. Aphelios is b/c I think his Lunar Beast skin is hot and I like his flamethrower.

Moving on from League, some of my other miscellaneous favourites include:

K-8 from SOMA. A little robot fella who doesn't do anything exceptional but is really cute and helps you out a few times through the game. My baby boy.

(Don't look this guy up if you're not ready to see man-made horrors within your comprehension. He's ugly) Terry Akers also from SOMA. I don't really know why, but the section of the game related to Terry is just one of my favourite parts. He's probably my favourite enemy.

N Harmonia from Pokemon. I think he's neat and cute. I like the BW(2) games a lot and he's integral to both. Very interesting character.

Raihan from SWSH. He's tall and attractive. Feel like if he had any more dialogue in the game though I would've hated him. He seems like a headass lol.

Barry from D/P/PT. He's so cute!!!!!!!!! Diamond was my first Pokemon game, and Gen 4 is my favourite gen. I think Barry is adorable and such a goof. I love how erratic he is. I have a funny little story about my experiences with Diamond so if anyone wants to hear about my dumbassery please speak up lol.

I also really like Hau from SUMO/USUM. He's a little sunshine boy and i would kill for him.

And Guzma from SUMO/USUM. He's hot and I like just about everything Team Skull has going on. If I could I would run away to Po Town too.

Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2!!!!!!!!!! Oh my god. Literally the man of my dreams. He's hot, he's bisexual (in my heart), he's a cowboy. Absolute 10/10. I love Arthur Morgan with everything in my soul.

Another RDD2 one, Kieran Duffey! I love Kieran. He's so adorable and the moment where he [semi spoilers] saves Arthur during the second chapter is the best!!! He's one of the most forgotten about members of the gang but he's my second favourite after Arthur. I wish he and Arthur had more sweet dialogue interactions. 😔 Arthur is just so mean to him.

I'm lookin at my steam library right now and seeing how very quickly my list is going to get super long so I'm gonna conclude with characters i adore also but don't want to write reasons why for.

Ifan Ben-Mezd from Divinity Original Sin: 2, Wheatley and Glados from Portal (2), Pavel from Metro: Last Light, Artyom from the Metro series, Sadie and Charles from RDD2, and ummm Cheeseburger from Far Cry 5.
