Hilariously enough the place where I’m staying is right near the Harold E. Holt Naval Communication Station
#broodfester tongues#for non-skips the reason why this is funny#is bc harold holt was a prime minister who disappeared while in office#probably drowned#the joke/conspiracy theory is that he was taken by a CIA submarine or something#or that he's just chilling underwater or taking a really long swim#so an underwater communications relay being named after him is extremely apt
