21. Did the Warden romance anyone from their group? If so, what attracted them to their partner?

21. Saryi romanced Zevran, actually! The assassin kept making her laugh and cheered her up. Saryi exchanged letters with Nelaros for a year before the wedding so she was devastated at his death. Zevran was able to shake her out of her grief and get her to crack a smile. She fell in love with him because he made her laugh :D

35. Saryi's personality absolutely changed. Honestly, it changed the second she saw Nelaros die. Before he died, Saryi was sweet and diplomatic. She was a people pleaser and bent herself backward for the shems around her to keep Shianni and Soris safe. She was always willing to turn the other cheek. His death hardened her, in Dragon Age terms. After Nelaros's death, Saryi snapped. She became sarcastic, cunning, and hostile to shems. Through the events of the game, she did soften a bit, but Saryi never went back to how she was before DAO.

5. Oh I was hoping someone would ask this question. Saryi HATED Duncan. You have to understand that after the death of her fiance, Saryi wanted to die. She got Shianni, Soris, and her bridesmates out then she took full responsibility for the massacre. She knew they would hang her and she wanted to die to be with Nelaros, so she was furious when Duncan invoked the rite of conscription. It was actually so bad that Duncan took her weapons and kept her hands bound on their journey to Ostagar so she didn't kill both of them.

Saryi was pretty unmoved by Duncan's actions of the Joining since she was hoping the darkspawn blood would kill her. I think you can guess how she reacted when she woke up.

Saryi does soften about Duncan from talks with Alistair and as she became an older warden but that bitter feeling lingered for a long time.
