went to check the Tale of Genji tags on AO3 because I'm teaching it imminently and also I know what I'm about and I am sorry to report that it's still a wasteland in there but I was reminded of the genius who wrote a Yugao/Rokujo fic
#I am not going to write Genji fic because like. it is far from my favorite piece of classical Japanese literature#however. the Yugao chapter is certifiably wild and anyone who recognizes that is a winner in my book#Queenie actually says something on this blog#ACCIDENTALLY QUEUED THIS INSTEAD OF POSTING IT#so I had to scroll through my 440 post queue to dig it up#the queue is bonkers long. this is why it keeps spitting out C3 art from 6+ months ago
