all this 2013 internet reminiscing is unlocking forgotten MEMORIES… so here’s some lore: when i was 12-13 years old i was running a percy jackson fanpage on instagram like the NAVY. i had 16,000 followers and i would make graphic design edits (painstakingly, lovingly edited on my ipod touch) and i would make sure to post every morning before school because i noticed most of my followers were from another timezone 😭 anyway, i stopped running the page when i started seventh grade because i moved to a new school and wanted to focus on my grades 😭

#that year i learned photoshop in my computer class and the world was never the same #i also work in the design industry now... FOR REAL this time... so this is such a cute memory #i totally forgot about this until my friends and i started talking about one direction this afternoon (rip)#and we started talking about the Aesthetics of tumblr/internet that time and i remembered i made a LOGAN LERMAN collage #my friend looking at my ancient screenshot: 988 likes… you were truly that bitch #THIRTEEN YEARS OLD with 16k FOLLOWERS is a little crazy like what…#so Anyway i truly believe genuine excitement / love is a key part of creation #and i am trying to get back to that… related to my last reblog abt how being cringe = being free etc #kiss and tell
