oh i love this question!! i love writing complex character dynamics so i have indeed spent HOURS of my life dedicated to writing extensively about all of Komi's relationships in my google docs (not to be shown to the world because im honestly Embarrassed) SO THIS IS SOMETHING IVE ALWAYS THOUGHT ABOUR!

personally i believe Snuppet 🐍☂️ was the BEST relationship for her. the whole thing is tjat Komi just got away from an abusjve relationship and also the whole Thing with Bill Cipher, which is why she has her memories of her previous lives now. she's going through a lot of emotions and traveled to another world to escape instead of doing her job (she still does her job, protecting the multiverse, but she's letting herself Sink Into It i guess. its hard to explain but understand Komi's mental space during the Genshin Impsct era impacts jer relationship with Scaramouche/Wanderer/Pinokio)

Komi SHOWED Scaramouche her memories . he saw EVERYTHING because she wanted him to trust her . THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SHES EVER CRUSHED ON SOMEONE FIRST AND THE POOR GIRL IS DESPERATE AND HOPELESS!!!!!!!!!

it's only after the whole Sumeru Story and Scaramouche -> Wanderer (Pinokio was the name we gave him) that Pinokio/Scaramouche begins to be vulnerable around Komi which then strengthens their already very close relationship .

they're like two edgy angsty young adults in college . kinda. except the college is the Sumeru Akademia and they're both 500+ years old .

SHE FIXES HIM!!! HE FIXES HER!!! THEY FIX EACH OTHER!!! PINOKIO IS THE ONLY ONE KOMI WOULD'VE GONE BACK TO IF SHE HAD THE CHANCE!!!!!!!

the Only reason Biosnake ended in tragedy was because of Uroboros . if Wesker hadn't created that virus then he wouldn't have gone Senile and DIED . and Komi knows this to be true and she hates herself so much for not breaking the rules and intervening with the plot to save the man she loved . Unfortunately the Resident Evil universe (she calls it "The Umbrella-Verse", like how she calls all FNAF/FNAF fangame worlds "The Afton-Verse") would've been destroyed and erased from reality if she so much as uttered a WORD to convince Wesker to change his mind .

Wesker is the reason why Komi's favorite color is red now. Sigh.

i love old people . i love those ood people. yeah sure Albert Wesker has the longest crime list on the Villains Wiki out of everyone Komi's ever dated but that is THE man she constantly thinks about. it's just because he Died . like she doesnt a mourn Robin anymore because she actually got closure and was able to move on. WITH WESKER. AND THEN SHE LOST HIM AND THE GUY WHO DID IT MADE HER FEEL LIKE SHIT!! CHRIS.... stop it........

i'm playing genshin right now bc i need to rale a break from Drawing and also cause WANDERER IS IN THE NEE EVENT AND SO IS ALBEDO AND IM SO EXCTIED TO SEE THEM INTERACT, so i'm resharing some old Snuppet art (Komi/Scaramouche) + Albedo

fun fact about this ship: it literally came to us in a dream . i can't remember all of the details of the dream but one section of it had this interaction between Scaramouche and Komi and they were talking at a campfire in the woods about how similar they are . when we woke up from that dream we went "Wow . thats an interesting idea" and made the first doodle .

the similarities between them being ;

Komi was once a porcelain doll (Kari Barisol) created by a god (Behemo Barisol), who was given life and treated as a daughter. one day, some asshole (Seth Twiright) corrupted Kari with Malice (HERs, also known as Hereditary Evil Raiser's syndrome) z if you guys Know Evillious Chronicles lore you know that meant that Kari wasnt allowed to board the Arc, so Behemo created a Black Box and put Kari inside it, and they sent her off .

in her other life, Komi was once a snake (Kaori, the snake of creating eyes) that belonged to a goddess (Azami, also called a Medusa, a Shinigami, and a Gorgon in translations) . one day she met an asshole (her brother Saeru, the snake of clearing eyes) and he lied to her and said that he was going to bring her to a Utopia where she could live and be free like a human. if you Know the Kagerou Project lore you know exactly what Saeru was ACTUALLY doing .

Kari's Black Box fell through a Rift (rip in the fabric of reality that bleed into other universes) and she ended ip in the Kagerou Project universe. MANY THINGS HAPPEN that lead to Kari and Kaori in their "human" bodies dying together. until they perform a Re_birthday spell that takes their souls and turns them into Komi . who is then told by a higher being to act as her pawn, which Komi does, cause she can't remember her past lives.

Komi meets Scaramouche a while after she's recovered her past memories. she, like him, has been "betrayed" three times (Behemo had to cast her aside, Saeru lied to her, and the VOID is just using her in Scara's words) , she doesnt see it that way (except for Saeru) .

Komi and Scaramouche bond over the things that happened to them and what they plan to do next . Komi loves humanity and cherishes humanity memories, and Scaramouche (Fatui arc) couldnt care less really . THEY ARE OPPOSITES ATTRACT ARGHH

second Image is like , doodles from a one-shot we wrote about Komi and Scaramouche sharing a bed, despite the fact that Scaramouche doesn't need to nor does he want to go to sleep, and Komi also doesn't need to sleep but can, often does so, but is currently avoiding it because she has nightmares. They just lay there in silence for hours. a doll and a puppet .

third image is the Poly Ship between Scaramouche/Pinokio (thats the name we gave our Wanderer), Komi, and Albedo . i don't remember their ship name . rhis polyship exists bc Albedo is ALSO an artificial living being with an interesting view on humanity who would have an interesting dynamic with Hat Guy . komi was in two previous relationships by the time she meets scara/pinokio . her first was robin fire emblem that lasted like 3-ish years before he died and her second was Really Bad . meaning that Komi is in her hopeless romantic era during the Genshin Period of her life (which, for context, is like . 10,000+ years (of her life, not time as we understand it) before she dates the Puppeteer , where she isnt really excited ar the idea of going on a date anymore .

Vincent learned that puppet shit in college. he took a class dedicated to props department and crafting props. one assignment he had to make a puppet of any kind, so he chose to do a marionette - ventriloquist puppet combo (later on, when he met Glenn that same year, Glenn would suggest adding some kind of mechanical system to allow Vinnie to basically marionette himself.) Vincent is the Victor Frankenstein, ans Vinnie is his Monster. that is the relationship they have. parallel to William Afon's relationship with Spring Bonnie.

Komi, literally being a doll-snake fusion reincarnation hybrid, has more personal experiences with dolls, specifically porcelain dolls. so the opposite of puppets. her previous experience with a living puppet was with Scaramouche (Snuppet🐍☂️). she's a very curious individual and one day she asks Vincent to show her how Vinnie works. he gets VERY excited and demonstrates for her, and even convinces her to let him teach her. he just wants an excuse to get physically closer to her (like holding her hand... or smelling her HAIR 🤮🤮🤮 what a PERVERT!!! /j /j /j)
