If someone had told me that I'd still be working on this story more than a year after beginning it, I would have probably thought, "Hmm, really?" and pounded on ahead. I am still actively writing parts of it, but have some chapters that are ready for publishing. Because I'm still working on it, my updates may not be regular. Stay tuned!

Here's a summary of what's to come:

Ross is a burned-out professor of English at a prestigious New England college carrying a lot of baggage from his past. As the school year begins, an encounter with an exceptional young woman, also his student, will turn his world upside down and introduce a whole new set of challenges. Can these two get out of their own way in order to make—and maintain—a real connection? A modern, loose retelling of the Poldark romance, featuring many of our favorite folks from the books, and a few original characters, too.
