Well, in a stunning end to my season I finally have my first semi-serious injury. Doing my season goal of A Line today, I took a fall and snapped my clavicle - that's a gap between the two ends of 25.6mm! Yup, a whole inch. Honestly, I can't say I'm upset. I did part of what I set out to do, I braved my fear and made it through five whole seasons injury free. I did some big jumps successfully today, and finally got to ride with some of my favourite people. Sure it's not ideal, but worse things have happened and the immediate support from Whistler Health and my friends (not forgetting my wonderful partner @mr_aeejaydigby ) has been outstanding. Perfect timing too - 8-10 week recovery and no snow for the same.
