There wasn’t a time as a boy he could remember not hearing the voices. They never left him alone and he tried ignoring them at first but it made it worse! His dad didn’t help ether with threatening him not to tell people and when he finally had, only a select few people like Kashihara-Sensei believed him. “So don’t try to tell me that crap! It doesn’t work!” He snapped bitterly.

where: does elias have a botanical garden? if not then, like, a park

florian wasn’t sure if he believed in fate. he knew he had, once. when he was young, he’d believed everything and all that had gotten him was a broken heart. he wasn’t philip, half storybook as it was and with his head in the clouds to boot. but despite his uncertainty, something had buried itself within him long ago that made him want to believe. that was his mother’s touch, of course. he’d never been able to bring himself to resent her for it.

all of this to say that, when he glimpsed dark hair and kind eyes and a familiar smile in the last place he expected to see them, he couldn’t help but wonder if maybe fate did have a hand in the world. because here he was, standing in yet another garden in a completely different country, transfixed by sorrel once more.

“sorrel?” he called gently, before he started really staring. “is that really you?”

“ don’t worry, we’ll get it ... ” belle assured the little girl. they watched as a pink sunhat with a daisy on the front floated across the pond. the public park wasn’t too busy on a late tuesday morning — just before the lunchtime rush. belle thought she could take this time to have a quiet moment on her day off, but the day had other plans as she consoled the distraught girl. 

the hat made its way to the other side of the large pond, bumping against some water lilies. when she spotted someone walking by, she waved at them to try and get their attention. “ excuse me ! excuse me, hello ! pardon me, but do you think you could try and reach the hat ? ”

geri spoke as she tied up her hair. already astride on her horse, she let the horse walk around freely, only guiding her whenever she strayed too far from basil. the horse-riding trails in the mountains were all too familiar by now, but a familiar trail was better than no trail at all. and she needed to get away from the city, fearing seeing rafaella again.

sunday followed saturday, as it tended to do, and serena had already finished off the mega-tidying job she'd started on friday night. while her landlord was an understanding soul, and her shifts at the tailor shop were steady, she worried that it would not be enough. she woke that morning with a sharp feeling and a face that appeared to her as soon as the sunlight hit her eyes. the image had stayed with her, all the way past one cup of coffee, a cup of tea, an episode of a show, and an almond croissant.

she needed to go to the farmer's market that day. she needed to find a girl with hair as black as the night, and lips as red as a rose.

even as she walked, her tote bag bouncing against her thigh as she quickened her pace, she couldn't get the feeling that came with the vision of the girl's face. the girl needed help, but at the same time, serena knew she would provide help too.

her visions had never been wrong before. like dreams, they appeared in the seconds before she woke up, but this was the first that arrived when she opened her eyes.

after wandering around for a few minutes, she finally spotted her. hesitating, she slowly walked up beside her, waving her fingers a little in front of the girl’s gaze so as not to scare her. “ i’m sorry, excuse me, ” she said as a greeting, taking a deep breath and smiling as she exhaled. “ but i had a thought, maybe ... do you ... do you need help ? are you all right ? ”
