Kevin Day says “Did you know I’ve never even been skiing?” because he’s actually just a snowboarder…

Off season, of course, must not risk the Exy season with high speed outdoor recreation.

And like also he just relates with snowboarding better cause like snowboarding is new age and Exy is new age and like same-same ya know?

But like just think about it, yeah? He’s actually impressively good at snowboarding: Kev would be like Shaun White carrying around multiple Olympic medals for different sports. Exy could fall into the summer season Olympics while snowboarding is in winter season.

Tumblr, in an effort to bribe myself to write, I commissioned Tara (my beloved) to draw the climactic scene from my novel in progress as Glimmer and Bow with the condition that I could only share it once I finished the draft as a reward. And tonight (this morning? idk it's 3:30 am here), clocking in at 134k words, I finished this godforsaken draft at last and Tara doesn't have to murder me in my sleep because it's totally still winter, TARA, so there!

Normal people get fanart done of their OCs and I get my OCs done as fanart, it's fine.

This is the longest novel I have ever written and it will take me nine billion years to edit it in between everything else I have to do, but right now? I am celebrating!

(Paranormal romance. Yes, she's an angel. And if you're worried it does have a happy ending, but only after I emotionally devastate you a little. Shut up, you'll love it.)

And because this strategy of self-bribery actually worked so well, I have actually commissioned art of Glimbow as the three other novels I hope to finish this year so you all have that to look forward to.

But now? I sleep.
