My first fandom, one which I entered into three dozen years ago and never left is the one devoted to the smallest and best of the big cats, the majestic queen of the alpine steppe, Panthera Uncia.* It is therefore appropriately paired with the first Mountain Goats song I ever heard, and my favorite from the pre-AHWT era. My friend Lizzie sang it to me while we waited outside our historical linguistics class, then we saw JD perform it together two decades later at Grace Cathedral because life is weird.

*The "Uncia" is due to some rebracketing from the root word *luncia (proto-romance "Lynx like") which because French was analyzed as L'once (in much the same way that "a nadder" was split into "an adder").

FDLJFDLKJF i would give snow-leopard! haitham such a hard time as a cat since its just part of my nature to be cheeky hehe :3 i'd definitely be more inclined to bat at his tail like its a chewtoy or dangle off of it too i'd prolly do the same with wolf! wrio too and try and get him to playfight

i feel like he's totally the type who would proudly display your 'work of art' whenever possible.... xianyun or xiao visiting the teahouse? they're gonna see him with his horns out, colorful ribbons and flowers dangling on them.... and when you put stickers, your uncle wrio takes one look at them and sighs before giving zhongli a knowing look, ".... you too huh" lol

wolf!wrio would entertain your attempts more and would even play with you i think. you're like a rowdier version of a pup to him and he thinks it's endearing.... snowleopard!haitham would probably huff and try to seek wolf!wrio or dragon!li like "hey. switch places. i want to read in peace." hsdlhfksljdklf

no but can you imagine if catnips does work on dragons.... eepy zhongli.... eepy noodles snuggling into the blankets and purring and drifting to sleep.... except the purrs are so loud it literally makes the whole house and the surrounding earth rumble-

Fun fact: I chose a snow leopard onesie for Tup specifically because I wanted him to have a big fluffy tail to cuddle!
