SnK Positivity Week 2019, day 5: Self Positivity Day
How humble of me that I’m posting only today, huh? xD but I really wanted to join the snk positivity week this year and couldn’t make it for each day… So I chose this one to share my experience with you.
This story made me inspired countless of times. While watching first episode of anime I immediately fell in love with Kyoji Asano’s style and remember how badly I dreamt of learning it! When I decided few years ago that I’m going to start taking art seriously, snk characters were first to practice with. Sketch of Eren, Mikasa and Armin was first ever thing that I posted into the web and that’s how my art journey here began. There was a time at the beginning when snk fan arts were majority of my works. Making cool fan arts of my favourite characters was the biggest motivation to practice and learn. The main source of inspiration were all these emotions they were emanating and evoking in me. Those have been creating certain pictures in my mind that I want to draw, often exceeding my current skills, but that urge to materialize them was strong enough to try, even if it meant a lot of frustration. But my love for that story and its characters pushed me forward, which I’m greatly thankul for.
Besides that, thanks to my art I could meet a lot of kind people and make friends. I’ve been receiving messages that people like my works and they inspire them, and honestly, is there any bigger reward for an artist? This fandom makes the experience even better and I hardly imagine how things would look like if there wasn’t for it now.
As you can see, these works above are 6 years apart. I remember how hard I worked on this old one and I still find it pretty nice little drawing. I hope that some progress is visible ^^’ though I know there’s still a lot to learn and I know that this manga will continue to be one of the subjects of my practice!

Happy #snkpositivity, Eveblum! You're such an inspiration to me. I love your artworks so much, your style is so unique! Just as much, though, I love your perseverance! I see you fight to keep going, to break through blocks and insecurities - and omg that development you showed with your Mikasa drawings! You're so strong and I admire that so much. Sending you good vibes, plus repair-vibes for the hot water.
Oooh my goodness, sorry for that late reply! I never check my askbox 😭 NONNIE you are the sweetest. I feel like punched with warm vibes right now, you made me feel apreciated and valid. Your words mean so much to me 😭 Thank you for your support! 💕💕💕💕💕
Still have some issues with the new boiler but at least warm showers are back 😂
