Poke-Idol Stars

Poke-Idol Stars (often shorted to Pokestars) is an idol themed gamed produced by Pokestars Studios as an attempted to branch out from films. The app is available for both DSC (Devon-Silph Co) and FDL (Fleur-De-Les) operating systems.

Pokestars designed characters based off both Pokémon and the designated CV for the character. It follows all of the idols working towards their goal as they train in Deeoh’s idol academy. The game started off with three units and three idols per unit. These units consisted of

Cotton☆Baby

The bubblegum bop unit. Cotton☆Baby focuses on making their fans smile and main appeal is their motivation. Members include

Sylveon - 2nd year, cute attribute, female, unit leader

Audino - 2nd year, cute attribute, female

Alataria - 2nd year, cute attribute, female

Crystal Rose

The girl power unit. Crystal Rose focuses on making sure nothing dull happens at the school and main appeal is their strength. Members include:

Lopunny - 3rd year, cool attribute, female, unit leader

Weavile - 2nd year, cool attribute, female 

Ampharos - 2nd year, cool attribute, female

Hime

The proper unit. Hime focuses on doing what's expected of them and main appeal is being lady like. Members include:

Bellossom - 2nd year, smart attribute, female, unit leader

Fomantis - 3rd year, smart attribute, female

Beautifly - 3rd year, smart attribute, female

While the game was originally a big hit, the game had to take a hiatus. The main unit's CV kept having personal life "problems" to the point where they weren't around enough to keep the game running. While having a personal life was perfectly fine, the fact that there was only seven others members made it much harder to give time off.

However as time continued to go on, fans kept demanding a reboot of the game, especially since the CV that were originally busy had much time on their hands now. In the year 2037, the fans wishes were met and Pokestars got a reboot. The game was not only rebooted but added 8 new units and 27 new members

Lux

The band unit. Lux focuses on having a good time and main appeal is being relaxed. Members include:

Malamar - 3rd year, smart attribute, male, unit leader

Aromatisse - 3rd year, smart attribute, female

Slurpuff - 2nd year, tough attribute, female

Trevenant - 2nd year, tough attribute, male

Gourgeist - 2nd year, Beauty attribute, male

諧 (Kai, Harmony)

The traditional unit. 諧 focuses on following the "correct" path on being an idol and main appeal is strong harmonies. Members include:

Eevee - 1st year, smart attribute, male, unit leader

Flareon - 3rd year, tough attribute, male

Glaceon - 3rd year, beauty attribute, male

B Witch

The chuunibyou unit. B Witch focuses on breaking the rules and main appeal is their outfits. Members include:

Mismagius - 2nd year, smart attribute, female

Idol Justice Squad

The sentai unit. Idol Justice Squad focuses on justice and main appeal is their dancing (stunts). Members include:

The newly formed unit. Snap focuses on trying to get a footing at Deeoh Academy and main appeal is catchy lyrics. Members include:

The all around unit. Treaty doesn't have a specific focus focuses and main appeal is never knowing what's going to be next. Members include:

The Nintendo Switch it had a powerful start. Just outside the door, the company launched Banger Ranger Banger Ranger game after game, each offering Nintendo’s commercial feel of leisure time in a well-designed fantasy park. It was almost overwhelming: crossing the fantastic world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, to dominate the fascinating combat ARMS, to keep up with each delicious Squadron 2 update. Shortly afterwards, fans would celebrate the arrival of Super Mario Odyssey in all its strange and splendid glory.

This method of flooding the area worked. Four years later, the Switch is one of the best-selling consoles of all time, with 85 million units sold. But over the past year, it’s been hard not to notice that the water level has dropped and fans are no longer floating on a wave of Nintendo eighths. Although Nintendo is still releasing great games for Switch, and in 2022 will leave the long-awaited sequel Breath of the WildMany of these games since early 2020 have been marked by strange nonsense. Too often they fail to invite players to this fantasy courtyard that Nintendo fans have loved.

Disappointment, for me, has sunk in at various points in the life cycle of a game. First, of course, there is always hype; for the new Warriors Hyrule, the new Bowser’s Super Mario 3D World + Fury. Nintendo has a deep archive of fan favorites to draw. Nostalgia – “I dear this back in the day! ”: Generates the impetus to spend $ 59.99 in the eshop. Mitopia on the Switch is adorable, though in the end, it’s a generic role-playing game for kids.

Four years after the life of the Switch, we are not in a drought; we are getting games. They’re a little more self-referential, a little less whole, than I expected from Nintendo. There is no easy recipe for the company’s secret sauce. It requires a delicate balance of polishing to the feeling of play and nostalgia. Lately, these games have relied heavily on nostalgia, while reducing dust or joy. Nintendo could rely on past successes forever and continue to stay at the top of the gaming universe. Still, Nintendo thrives when it releases games that tickle everyone’s imagination, not just the sentimental memories of its big fans.

On Tuesday, the company anticipated some promising Switch games during its 40-minute video presentation at E3. Most delights are the most affected for a long time (read: old) Nintendo fans: Advance Wars 1 + 2: Restart of the field, 2D Metroid game Metroid Dread, and a compilation of Mario PartyThe first minigame reaches Mario Party Superstars. Nintendo also announced a new one WarioWare game: an exceptionally weird, whimsical and well-crafted franchise. The highlight, of course, were images of the next one Breath of the Wild sequel, which has remained mostly wrapped up. It looks very good. (We also know that, next year, we will get it Squadron 3 i Pokémon Legends: Arceus, with an open environment; and finally we shall see Metroid Prime 4 i Bayonet 3.)
