Cargo snek in trouble
There's something aboard the ship, and someone has to get rid of it before docking.

Cargo snek
Just a snake doing its job, checking that the ship's cargo is in order before returning to port.

Cobra Customs - 2 year anniversary!
Gonna need to put some more time into it to get it running...
It was around this time in 2022 that I first picked up a pencil and decided to learn how to draw. Before that, I always considered myself creatively bankrupt. I understood that I was a more methodical and logical thinker than an artistic and imaginative one, yet an interest in art grew in me as I found works that resonated with me. Seeing others express themselves through their artwork made me long for one day being able to do the same, yet my perceived lack of creativity held me back from giving it a try. I'm not sure what motivated me to finally learn how to draw, but I believe it was inevitable that I would do so. As I started drawing, I discovered how much I liked the process. On the few occasions I had to sketch anything particular for a class or assignment, I enjoyed myself, even though the results were terrible. After a few weeks of practice, I had improved my previously nonexistent skills, and I felt confident enough to try and produce a piece like the ones I had admired for so long, even though I didn't even own a graphics tablet. So I grabbed my phone, took a photo of a sketch, and used a drawing app to work on the image directly. With no experience in digital art, color theory, or perspective, the end result was bad, straight up embarrassing. It made me realize how much I had yet to learn and improve upon, given my limited knowledge. Now, two years later, after countless hours of practice, failures, and a few kilograms of paper, I've returned to the original idea and given it another shot. For some reason, I have always felt that I was progressing too slowly and needed to make up for my lack of experience by catching up. Every time I realized how long I had been painting and the minimal progress I had achieved, I felt a sense of urgency and dread, as if time were running out to achieve my goals, even when I understood that success in art has no fixed timeline. I made this to show myself just how far I have come, so I can let that dread and hurry go and appreciate what I have achieved so far. I'm proud of the progress I've made, and now I can enjoy what I've accomplished in these two years. So, about the original piece: I'm actually uncomfortable sharing it. It's just that bad, at least to me, but simply not sharing it defeats the meaning behind revising the idea, so I decided to put it on the Buy Me a Coffee page that I made to receive payments for commissions, at least for now. If you really want to see it, you can put a dolar there and take a look. I'm sorry for putting it behind a paywall, but I really can't bring myself to share it. I'll make it available for free as soon as I can come to terms with its flaws and feel more confident about it. Here's the link to the original piece. Here's a speedpaint of the process. I'm open for commissions!
