oh i am INSANE about salphys, I'm already thinking about their hinted friendship 24/7 so i have no problem throwing romance into the mix as well. it's one of my favourite ut rarepairs they're just so!! PARALLELS MAN!!!

But! i am very, very specific with it, I don't like it in just any context (like any ending where undyne is still alive for example) and though i crossed "would do/read fic about it" I'm not sure yet if there's anyone other than myself i can trust to really Get the vibe I've got going for them y'know? specifically, the contexts i enjoy this pairing in are two

pre canon, back when they were colleagues (?) long before frisk falls to the underground. it's the supidest, most ridiculous relationship they've ever had, it lasts a while but eventually doesn't work out and part on extremely good terms for ex partners. sans buys undyne a "gay-mer girl" shirt for gyftmas so she and alphys can match (alphys kicks him in the shins at the dinner table about it later, but it's affectionate) and alphys still inevitably wanders to the little handmade socks+mittens stalls in street markets to find the ones with the funniest patterns like "oh this one's so tacky, he'll love it" then tags him in the pics on undernet.
