Contrary to belief, it is possible to be a hermitcraft fan and not like a hermit. Could be their video style or personality. The quicker hermitblr learns that the better.

I am a firm believer that the statement “Hermitcraft made Dream smp artists draw the players non human” is factually incorrect and is the other way around, especially that many of the dsmp players have non-human skins or non-human mascots (Eg antfrost has a cat skin and Schlatt is a human but has ramy as his channel’s mascot)

Hermitcraft there’s only two hermits with very explicit non human skins and one kind of (three now with juppet but that’s just gonna be a season 10 thing) being Doc, Jevin and Cleo. Dsmp a good chunk had non human skins or fanon that became canon like Phil with crow wings.

In conclusion it was the Dream smp fans that made them more non human, not hermit fans. Hell even bird fanon grian was just a guy with wings usually made to look like an elytra not full on bird legs and ear feathers. I only saw that after L’Manburg was completely destroyed.

why is there still people throwing around shipping discourse in the hermitcraft fandom in the year of our lord and Savior Gorb of 2024

Sometimes I wonder if a hermit was outed out for something terrible like Wilbur Soot bad I wonder how the fandom would react.

Cause while Wilbur had a lot to do with the Dream smp there was plenty of things that didn’t involve him. (Eg manburg side, egg lore, solo lore of characters like Michael McChill, Eret and Foolish’s connection, literally anything with Karl Jacobs) Hell there’s lots of ways to avoid writing him in fics for stuff he was in! Just write from a different perspective or have him mentioned but not seen.

But hermitcraft? They’re not playing characters the same way the Dream smp players did. They’re more themselves.

Like I dunno if Grian or Doc was outed to be a bad person they have so so so much more connected to the hermitcraft server then Wilbur with the Dream smp.

Plus I just wanna see the faces of people who said shit like “well at least I know the hermits won’t do that”

Building on that ask about not having to like a Hermit, you also don't need to watch every Hermit.

There's a lot of them. I only have enough brainpower for a few. I'm sure Joehills content is good but keeping up with my faves is hard enough lol

Also popular Hermits are popular for a reason. The insane focus on Grian and Grian only is at times annoying but it's because he's one of the largest. He make large influential impacts that hold the same weight to others but come across as clearer, like it's easier to point out how he networked the empires crossover but harder to pinpoint the group dynamic shift since Joel and skizz joined.

Even if big blog was open they’d probably delete this ask I’ve sent similar things that they deleted so. Here we go.

Last night I had a dream that I was friends with some of the Hermitcraft members including Grian, and we all went over to hang out at one of my friend’s houses

And I ended up falling asleep on the floor of a bedroom, and when I woke up (in the dream) everyone but Grian had left the room, because he had also fallen asleep but on the bed.

So I fix what any reasonable person would do, I also got into the bed (because why would I keep sleeping on the floor if I dont have to, the bed was plenty big) and positioned my self next to, but not touching him, and pretended to go back to sleep

And then he rolled over and started using my stomach as a pillow and I experienced a weird euphoric rush that felt weird and concerning my strong. Like artificially intense. A ten second bout of mania. And then I passed out again.

And this is the second time a Hermitcraft related dream has given me this hyper-intense manic feeling and I’m really not sure why, it never happens when I’m awake only in dreams. And only Hermitcraft related dreams.
