“I love you Angela, this is incredible!” You laughed, watching a compilation of Angela moments titled ‘Angela being a feral guinea pig AGAIN for 8 minutes and 22 seconds’. 

“Feral guinea pig is crazy.” Angela sighed. 

The small group finished watching the video, making comments here and there about Angela’s antics. 

“The next compilation requires a slight change in cast,” Ian explained. “Tommy, get out of here! Spencer! Come on over!” 

“Awe Spencey!” You cooed, as he walked onto set, the sound of applause echoing. 

“Now that both Y/N and Spencer are here it’s time for our next video: ‘Spencer and Y/N being the cutest (not 🤨) couple at Smosh’. Let’s get into it.” 

You and Spencer looked at each other, curious as to what would constitute an 18 minute video. You knocked your shoulder into his teasingly, an easy smile gracing his features at your touch. 

“Oh my god! I’m so nervous! Why am I nervous?” You gripped Spencer’s arm tightly, his hand coming to rest on top of yours reassuringly as Shayne began to read an update to the reddit story. Spencer whispered something in your ear, so quiet the mic didn’t even pick it up, making you laugh. 

You paused the video, laughing at the memory. “Oh my god, what did you whisper again?” You asked Spencer. 

“I quoted Will Farrell.” He clarified. 

“Shut up, I’m so fucking scared right now, shut up!” You and Spencer quoted in unison, knocking together in your laughter. 

“That’s definitely gonna be in the next compilation of you two.” Angela teased. 

“Y/N Stop! Holy Shit! Get off of me!” Spencer shriek-laughed, attempting to put his controller out of your reach. 

“No! Fuck! Spencer!” You yelled, basically climbing on top of him trying to mess him up. 

The minigame ended quickly. Hearing it was over you gave up your pursuit of his controller, collapsing on top of him, slightly out of breath. “Good god.” You huffed, resting your head on his shoulder. 

“No way we’re still tied for 4th after all that!” Spencer said, exasperated. He placed his free hand– the one not being pinned down by your body– on your head, ruffling your hair slightly before you sat back up. Looking over to Shayne and Chanse they were both out of breath from laughing at your attack on Spencer.

“I still demand a rematch.” Spencer said, bitter about your success in that ‘don’t Win’ video. 

“Only if you’re ready to get your ass handed to you again.” 

“I feel like there’s gonna be a comp of me and Ian third wheeling you two this whole segment.” Angela interjected, earning a playful glare from the two of you. 

It was just clip after clip of you and Spencer being cute. You two were best friends so you were incredibly comfortable around each other. However, watching the compilation made it a little harder to deny both yours and Spencer’s feelings. You couldn’t help but notice the way he looked at you in each of the clips. He watched you with rapture when you spoke, he looked at you like your voice was the sweetest song he’d ever heard. 

You wanted to deny it but you recognized that look. You recognized it because it was the same way you looked at him. It made your heart swell. 

“I bet if we did an eye-tracker on Spencer and just played a smosh video with Y/N in it, he would always be looking at her.” Ian teased. 

“I mean, as he should.” You laughed. 

“Yeah yeah, whatever. God forbid a man cares about his friend.”

“Oh hush, it's equal caring. I’d be honored for you to stare at me in a video.” You defended. You unpaused for the final clip of the video. 

“Can I phone a friend?” You asked, having no clue what the answer was. 

How you ended up in a video game beapordy, you had no clue. You were doing alright but didn’t know the current question so you didn’t even buzz in. Both Trevor and Chanse had gotten it wrong, leaving it to you. 

“Go ahead.” Shayne allowed.

You called Spencer. You knew he would know the answer. He was currently at his apartment since he had the day off work. 

He picked up after the first ring, which wasn’t unusual for him. “I was just thinking about you.” Spencer remarked, a blush creeping up your neck. “What’s up?” 

“I have a really important question.” You told him, pausing for dramatic effect before reciting the question from Shayne. 

“Oh! This is easy.” Spencer laughed, rattling off the answer and some. 

“I hate to cut you off,” You interjected. “But I gotta finish this game. You can tell me all about it later though.” You promised with a laugh. 

“Okay okay. I’ll see you later then.” 

“Okay, Love you Spence.” 

“I love you more.” 

You hung up, Chanse giving you a playful and knowing smirk. 

“Oh Spencer I love you so dearly.” he mocked, pitching his voice up and adding kissy noises. 

You lightly slapped his arm, allowing the game to continue. 

“Let’s look at some comments, shall we?” Ian asked, scrolling down. 

“ ‘not dating’ my ass, they are too perfect together to not be” 

“Can Spencer fight? I’m so serious.” 

You laughed at this one, looking to Spencer to see his head hanging and shaking no. Beneath that comment was another that mirrored it, only switching your names. 

“Unlike Spencer I can fight so back off my best friend.” You intimated, squaring up to the camera. “Don’t worry babe, I’ll protect you.” You said to Spencer, doing your best douche-bag voice. 

Spencer left the video after this, Tommy reentering to watch the rest of the compilations. 

Spencer sat to the side, watching you, smiling when you did and laughing at all of your jokes. He already knew the comments on this video would be wild. You two had been getting edits and shipping content since your very first video together years ago. He didn’t mind it though.  He knew your friendship was secure and that’s all he cared about. 

Would it make him the happiest man on Earth to be with you? Yes. But that didn’t matter unless you wanted it. He was perfectly content being your best friend, it was a title he wore with great honor. 

He would try one day, he had to. But for now he didn’t need to be your boyfriend to know you loved him. You made it apparent every day with each interaction you shared. He hoped he did the same, because loving you was always the easiest part of his days, and the one that made him the happiest.

Hey so like I’ve been following ur blog since my sanders sides days but like genuinely wondering, what fandoms r u in now?

oh gosh, well hi! Thanks for sticking around so long ^.^

It's kinda hard to answer what fandoms I'm *in* per say, because I don't really participate in any particular communities as heavily as I did in the sanders sides community back in the late teens and early twenties, but this is the stuff I'm into/writing right now!

I've started reading books again! I've become one of those "reads 100 books a year" people with a storygraph and a big spreadsheet and an aesthetic book journal and everything, it's really fun. If anyone wants book recs please encourage me I will dump a whole list on you.

The fan community I'm actually participating in a bit right now is the cosmere fandom (fantasy books by brandon sanderson), as I'm in a fandom discord server for that with @mug-of-beans. Currently reading Words of Radiance and losing my mind (affectionate).

I'm writing a Skyrim fanfiction that is my pride and joy, and I recently went into a fugue state and wrote a Battinson oneshot? Batfam is one of those fandoms that I exist in tertiarily (other such fandoms include dp x dc, gravity falls, and good omens), because I follow people who reblog it a lot and I'm in some discord servers that have a lot of those fans as well.

Speaking of Discord servers, I still feel at least a little part of the Sanders Sides fandom (even though I haven't actually consumed any new official content since WTIT), mostly because of my friends who still are active in the fandom, namely @tulipscomeinallsortsofcolors whose fanfiction I am almost more a fan of than the original work at this point, and I'm in a couple different servers with la and several other of my sanders sides mutuals (some are, like me, less active in tss stuff these days but we all met because of sanders sides and so sometimes when we hang out it still feels like a fanclub for it, in a good way).

I don't watch Thomas as much anymore but I still watch a lot of youtube! I started watching Smosh for the first time about...twoish years ago? Just in time to get used to the current cast and its dynamics and in jokes and then be body slammed along with everyone else with the one-two punch of "anthony is back" and "shortney Real Actually." I cycle through different gaming channels depending on my hyperfixations (i go on and off with markiplier, rtgame, jacksepticeye, dougdoug, current big one is game grumps), I like 2nd Try and Mythical and I love video essays. Hbomberguy, Supereyepatchwolf, Dan Olson, Sarah Z, Mandalore Gaming, FD Signifier, Noodle, MothersBasement, probably several I'm forgetting. Oh, and @mug-of-beans and I own Terminal Montage's Blessed Kirbo plush because we needed the Holiest Boy in our house.

I'm also in one of those moods lately where I write a lot for my whump sideblog, so if you enjoy watching OCs in pain then you can come join me on @ironwhumper359, I just started an interactive story where the readers vote on certain outcomes!

A few of my favorite underrated shartney moments:

in one of the smosh summer games apocalypse videos, joven has to pick a player to suck his toe... and he picks Courtney, who seems genuinely bothered. Cut to the actual toe-sucking part: Courtney's screaming, literally everyone else is some form of hysterically laughing/also screaming/cringing, but not Shayne. Shayne is standing there watching silently with his ARMS FREAKING CROSSED like, well, an overprotective boyfriend.

the "two truths one lie" style video Shayne, Courtney, and Ian did, where Shayne's in a low-energy mood most of the video. This is the vid where Courtney's truth/lie is that she hooked up recently with a woman. It's interesting to me that as soon as Shayne and Ian start peppering her with questions, he backs off because he doesn't want him and Ian to seem like "pervs." Now, if they only saw each other as siblings, that's a weird ass word to use. He'd say it was, I don't know, gross. It's also interesting that he starts to perk up AFTER that question (after the reveal that Courtney hadn't hooked up with anyone recently) and after him and Courtney start to team up against Ian. (And in the same video, in the last like 15 seconds, Courtney mimes shooting the water guns at their own boobs. You can see Shayne LITERALLY catch himself staring at her chest and then make an obvious abortive motion to stop 🥸)

There's a circa 2019 mario maker punishment vid with Funhaus... when Shayne is sitting on the teeny tiny couch with Alannah, Courtney (who previously had a turn and is still feeling the effects of the ghost pepper) PHYSICALLY INSERTS herself between them to get some ice cream from someone off camera. She straight up drapes herself over Shayne. Not with "pick me girl" energy, though it kinda comes off that way lol. It's more like she's really THAT comfortable being all up in his personal space. (And Shayne barely even bats an eye about her being up in said personal space. He so easily rolls with her all of a sudden leaning on him.)

That Confessions video was super wild. It's during that getting super closer time period too. Also if you wanted to read some What If? stuff from that video I suggest this chapter from Dept. of Weird Sounds:

I picked up my phone again, staring at the photo of Damien and letting my thumb hovering over the call button. But I shook my head, not wanting to bother him, and put it down once more.

I sighed and lied back down on the bed, feeling incredibly apathetic and restless. I didn’t even know where all that came from, nothing had happened to get me in this mood. Sure, I had a few things that I stressed over and other things that saddened me a little but… I felt kind of depressed…

Hating to feel like that, I went to grab my phone for the umpteenth time that afternoon. I took a deep breath and finally made up my mind, so I tapped the call button and dialed Damien’s number.

As it rang, I bit my bottom lip, hoping I wasn’t bothering him. Knowing Damien, he would be too nice and polite to really tell me he was busy or anything, and I hated to worry him by admitting that I was feeling down but… I just needed someone to talk to. I just needed to make sure he didn’t freak out, comfort him by saying that nothing had happened, that I was just in a strange mood today.

“Hello?” Finally came his voice, startling me a little since I was so deep into my thoughts.

“Hi, Damien” I awkwardly said, not really knowing how to start.

“Hey, Y/N! You okay? You sound a little… different” He knew me too well, only by listening to my voice he could immediately tell something was off.

“Um… Are you busy?” I decided not to answer, knowing whatever I replied, it would be uncomfortable.

“I’m hanging out with Shayne” He paused for a moment, but then continued since I was silent. “But uh… It’s okay, it’s… never mind, what’s up?”

“I… I didn’t know you were out, forget it then” I felt stupid for calling, knowing him he would not forget about it.

I heard Shayne saying something in the background, probably something silly, but I couldn’t make out his words. Instead, Damien was mumbling and stuttering as he worriedly replied back.

“C’mon, Y/N! Tell me what happened!” He finally said, sounding nervous as well.

“Nothing happened… I’m just… having a crappy day, I guess…”

“Something worrying you?”

“Maybe… I don’t know”

“Well, why don’t you come with us?”

“Where?”

“Just to take a walk”

“But you’re with Shayne…”

All his response was a crazed scream, like the idea of me coming along terrified him. I had to smile a little at his goofiness.

Shayne and Damien came to pick me up, and it was honestly great to see them. They didn’t seem bothered that I was tagging along even if I knew they were the best of friends and enjoyed some time alone. Just seeing their familiar faces was a bit comforting, and getting some fresh air helped too.

“Hey, Y/N!” Damien quickly received me with a bear hug. “So good to see you!”

“Thanks” I forced a smile as we broke away, truly endeared by his warm welcome.

“Wassup?” Shayne came next, giving me a hug too even if not as effusive.

“Hi, Shayne” I mumbled as I patted his back right before we broke away.

“It’s been a while” He was visibly awkward around me, which he had never been, really. It was probably because Damien told him I was feeling a bit down and he didn’t know how to react to that, how to behave around me now.

“Yeah…” I awkwardly mumbled, not knowing what to do around him either.

“How are you?” Damien was aware of the situation and broke the tension, putting an arm over my shoulders and taking me with him as we began walking.

I just shrugged, not willing to admit how sad and disheartened I truly felt. Without a reason, too, which was the worst. Nothing seemed to be worrying me, it was just a stupid apathetic day. It also made me eat my head, trying to figure out if something was actually bothering me for me to be in such a bad mood.

“You’re not looking so good…” Shayne observed, staring at me. Truth be told, I had never seen Shayne so serious, he definitely was worried. Unlike Damien, he had never seen me sad because we weren’t as close.

“Yeah, I feel like crap…” I shrugged again to brush it off. “I’m like… tired”

“Did you sleep well?” Damien asked me, attracting me to his side as his arm lingered on my shoulders.

“I guess…”

“Then how come you’re tired?”

“I don’t even know…”

“Don’t make me sing you a lullaby, Y/N, because you know damn well I will” Damien said in a silly voice, making me smile in spite of myself.

“Shut up, you silly goose” To force myself to be a little cheerful, I stuck my tongue out at him.

“Do you wanna talk to Damien? Like, in private” Shayne asked me, kindly patting my arm.

“No, it’s okay…”

“It’s no problem, really. I’ll just go over there and check my phone or something”

“Thanks, Shayne, but I don’t really feel like talking”

“Okay…” He showed me a gentle smile that was somehow comforting. “Come here”

He opened up his arms and I didn’t think twice to accept his warm hug. His strong arms around me felt nice and cozy, and the gesture itself was really heartwarming.

“Don’t hug my Y/N!” Damien waited until we broke away and then pulled at my arm to hug me tight himself. “How dare you, sir?!”

I chuckled a little, forcing myself to go along with the flow and let them cheer me up. I knew what they were doing, and I deeply appreciated it.

“No laugh still?” My friend looked down to me, almost expecting me to laugh at his stupid little joke.

“That’s because you’re not funny, Damien” Shayne said dramatically. “I’ve been telling you for years!”

“What do you suggest then, genius? How would you cheer Y/N up?”

“Guys… You don’t have to-“

“We’ll torture Y/N into laughing!”

“What?” Before I could brace myself for whatever they were going to do, Damien had sunk his fingers into my sides and Shayne was joining him. “No!”

“Is it working?” Shayne was suddenly using a weird accent and making his voice sound deeper for comical purposes, I assumed.

“I don’t know! Let’s continue just in case!” Damien used his body as a barrier so I couldn’t escape.

“Stop!” I shrunk into him, laughing in pain as they mercilessly tickled me.

“Say uncle!” Shayne started to laugh himself, letting out a high-pitched sound, amused with the whole thing.

“I did! I staid stop, quit being so dumb!” I closed my eyes tight and tried to slap them away.

“Ay dios mío, qué lastima!” Damien stopped, but he was laughing a little as Shayne tirelessly continued.

“Shayne!” I shouted, begging for him to stop, which he finally did.

We continued walking, just then noticing that people were staring at us. But we didn’t mind, we were three friends hanging out together and having fun. It was actually just what I needed, to be with friends. Even if at first I didn’t really realize how much I did. But I was smiling wide already.

The chaos slowly died down as we walked in silence, and I fixed my clothes and hair since they were messy after the struggle to get away from their torturous tickling.

“Hey, Y/N, I have something that might cheer you up” The grin in Shayne’s mouth told me it couldn’t be good. “You’re my favorite pizza place”

The stupid and unexpected nature of that caused me to let out a genuine guffaw of laughter. Shayne began laughing out loud too, in that high-pitched noise of his. Damien giggled in his own cute way, and I just chuckled in resignation to their attempts.

“You’re stupid!” I said between fits of laughter, actually wiping a few tears off since I was crying from laughing so much.

“Mission accomplished!” Damien threw his hands up in the air in victory. “Level up!”

I smiled fondly at those two idiots as they high-fived, feeling lucky that I got to call them friends.

Damien Haas is in love with you. One of the problems was that he denied it every chance he got; another was that you were oblivious to it all.  

** "Are you insane? Damien does not like me." You huff, annoyed with your friend Courtney at this point.

To put some light onto the subject, Courtney had been trying convenience you of Damien's undying love for you for the past hour or so. And just like Damien, you were trying to deny the whole thing.

"How thick could you get?" Courtney questioned in her best attempt at a British accent. She was trying to impersonate Ron Weasley from Harry Potter.

"Do not use Harry Potter against me, woman," You said, pointing an accusatory finger at your friend. Courtney raised her arms in mock surrender but continued her argument none the less.

"I'm serious. Just look at everything Damien does for you."

"It's called being friendly," You countered to blonde.

"No, letting you pet his cats is friendly, he would do anything for you, that's called being in love."

"You're so dramatic," You voiced, rolling your eyes in the process.

"And you're so oblivious."

Ever since your conversation with Courtney, you had been a bit on edge around Damien. Her claims caused you to read into every little thing he was doing. Things that you initially thought were friendly gestures became something more, almost romantic.

"And a drink for my highness," Damien said, handing over a cup of your favorite drink.

"You are a godsend," You said gladly, taking the cup from his hands and into your own.

Damien giggled at your exaggeration before saying, "I do my best."

"How did you know I needed this?" You asked after taking a gracious sip of the beverage. It's moments like this where you felt it wasn't just a kind deed; it was hints to his feelings.

"Just a feeling, I guess," Damien said, playing it off with a shrug. In reality, he had been observing you for days. Damien knew you were getting swamped with work and stressing out a bit. Damien figured the least he could do was ease the stress by providing you a break with your favorite beverage.

"Damien is psychic confirmed," You said jokingly. Damien laughed, remembering the videos you two watched together about his supposed psychic abilities.

"Illuminati confirmed," Damien added, causing you to laugh more. Damien loved many things about you, things he wasn't confident enough to share with you. One of those things was when you laughed, especially when he was behind it.

"But seriously, thank you," You said genuinely.

"No prob Bob," Damien commented, pulling a classic Steven Universe quote.

"It's (Y/N)," You replied, deciding not to leave the poor man hanging, finishing the quote from the animated television show.

You and Damien giggled at the exchange and smiled at one another. It was nice to take a quick break from the insane that was your workload at the moment. It was especially lovely when it was with someone so close to you.

More exchanges like the previous one continued. Damien would do little things that on the surface were kind, but deep down, you started to believe they meant something more.

"Oh, my God. Oh, my God, I did it! I beat Damien Haas at his own game!" You cheered triumphantly. You were about to throw the controller down in joy, but you quickly realized it might damage it, so you laid it lightly on the coffee table in front of you.

After you placed it down, you started to do a bit of a happy dance. Damien did his infamous yet contagious laugh at your antics, causing you to laugh as well.

"That you did," Damien said, placing his controller down as well.

You looked over to Damien, and despite his smile, you couldn't help but feel bad. You began to feel like a sore winner and a bit obnoxious.

You took your seat back on the couch next to Damien, but this time a bit closer. "I'm sure it was just beginners luck," You commented, patting Damien's thigh lightly.

"No, no, I know when to admit defeat," Damien said, lifting his arms in mock submission. He then took it a step further by bowing to you as well.

"Dames stop, " You laughed, grabbing onto one of his arms to cease his bow.

"What you won."

"You didn't let me win, did you?" You challenged, making sure he didn't let you win to be kind. Your short-lived enthusiasm got cut short when Damien took his sweet time trying to answer.

"Damien," You whined, dragging out the syllables in his name.

"I'm sorry you just looked so happy when you were beating me."

"Yeah, but now I'm sad that I didn't win fair and square, "You replied, crossing your arms in slight annoyance with a pout.

"I'm sorry," Damien said, pulling you into a side hug that you resisted.

Damien chuckled before saying, " Will cuddles help you forgive me?"

You nodded your head, still pouting. Damien shook his head but smiled none the less. He laid down against the sofa, bringing you with him. He then grabbed the blanket that covered the back of the couch and placed it over the two of you.

You snuggled deeper into Damien's embrace as he pulled up a movie for you two to watch. Just as the movie started to play, you mumbled," You owe me a fair rematch."

Damien laughed, the vibrations from his chest, making their way to you back.

"Yes, darling."

"What is up, my clever core family. Happy Sunday. I hope you guys are having a fantastic weekend. I know I am. Y/N and I have been watching films and playing games all weekend and being lazy butts. Speaking of Y/N," Damien introduced his Twitch live stream in its typical upbeat fashion.

"Hi, friends!" You said, waving your hands happily for the viewers at home. This was not your first time on one of Damien's streams, but it has been a while.

"Today, we're going to play a few Jackbox games, and in between answer a few of you all's questions."

Damien gave the typical rules of how his Jackbox sessions went, and the game proceeded. You all first played Quiplash, and it was downright hilarious. Neither you nor Damien won but rather a comic fan.

Now it was time for the questions. You and Damien would take turns reading any questions that caught your eye.

"Psychomantic51 asks, What is your favorite thing about me?" Damien asked you, pointing to the comment on the screen.

"Oh, that's pretty hard."

"Wow, okay," Damien said as if you hurt his feelings.

"No, I'm saying in the sense that there are a lot of things to like about you."

"Okay, well, name something you like. It doesn't have to be your favorite," Damien compromised.

"Well, for starters, you are one of the funniest persons I have ever met. If I don't laugh once in an encounter with you, something has to be wrong with one of us that day," You began, and Damien laughed at how accurate your statement was, which caused you to smile.

"And you're like freakishly smart like I feel dumb around you sometimes," You continued.

" Wait seriously?" Damien questioned, searching your face to be sure you weren't joking.

"I mean, yeah. Don't get me wrong I can be smart, but I swear you're like Einstein's second cousin."

"Thank you?" Damien thanked questioningly. Hopefully, he took that as a compliment as you intended.

"Anyway, you're also very kind. I've never seen you treat someone rudely, and you're also so friendly to even strangers. You have mad respect for literally everyone. Unless they throw away your most prized item from a video game." You said, referencing a video he shot with Shayne a while back.  Damien visibly grimaced, mostly for theatrics.

"And," You went to continue with your compliments, but Damien cut you off.

"Y/N, as much as I would love to hear how much you love me, we should probably answer some more questions," Damien mentioned before you could finish your statement.

You quickly grew embarrassed by his comment. You hadn't realized how much you began to talk about his finer qualities. All the qualities you apparently loved about him. Did you love Damien?

Of course not! Just because you like so many things about a person doesn't mean you love them. Right?

** Ever since the day of the live stream, your mind began to race even more. Before, it was just wondering if Damien liked you more than a friend, and now you were wondering the same thing about yourself.

After a few weeks of deliberation, you realized you did have feelings for your friend, and that was the problem. He was your friend. For years now, you have grown closer to one another. Did you truly want to mess that up? The answer was no, but stress began to eat away at you.

You were finding it hard to sleep, and when you did, it was always dreaming about Damien. Whether it be you guys were hanging out, you both kissing passionately or him downright laughing in your face as he rejected your feelings for him. You knew Damien wasn't the type to do such a thing, but you couldn't help but wonder.

What would happen if you told him about your feelings? Heck, you even made a pros and cons list. By the end of it all, you knew what you had to do for the pros outweighed the cons. You had to tell Damien how you felt.

You walked into the Smosh office the next day with your head held high, that was until you saw Damien and began to panic.

Once you walked in, he smiled and waved at you as he usually would before walking over. Your heart began to beat rapidly, and your stomach began to churn with anxiety. You felt as if you were sweating a waterfall as he hugged you like usual. What was wrong with you?

"How are you today, sweetness?" He asked, slinging his arm around your shoulder and walking you over to the group of your friends.

"I'm o-okay," You sturred out. You mentally face-palmed at your shaky voice.

"Hey, you okay?" Damien questioned, now noticing how flushed you looked and, no doubt, the shakiness in your voice.

Your eyes widened in panic. Your fight or flight began to kick in. You could stay and talk to Damien or run away like a coward. And right now, you really wanted to be a coward, but you went against it. It was now or never.

"Actually, can I talk to you for a bit?"

"Yeah, of course. Come on," Damien said, grabbing you by your clammy hand and escorting you out of the room and to somewhere more private.

Once there, he asked," What's wrong?"

You stood there for a moment. Come on, Y/N; it's like ripping a band-aid off.

"I like you."

Damien chuckled, "I like you too."

"No, like, like like you," You said shyly, looking everywhere you could but at Damien.

"Oh," Damien's eyes widened. " I like like you too," he said, smiling at you.

"Really?" You questioned, mostly surprised at how well things were turning out.

To answer your question, Damien kissed your cheek. It wasn't something he hadn't done before, but this one was different. This simple kiss was him letting you know that he did have feelings for you.

Damien pulled his lips from your cheek, smiling the whole time. "Really." He reassured.

You smiled happily and pulled him into an actual kiss this time. It was everything you had dreamed about, literally.

"I told you."

You quickly pulled away from Damien only to see Courtney with a triumphant smile upon her face.

You said nothing and pointed her back the way she came, and she listened, returning to the room with your friends.

You look back to Damien with an embarrassed smile. He pulled you in for another kiss, turning your embarrassed smile into one of pure happiness.

“Ok, I’m working on a character,” Amanda said to you as you waited on set for filming to start. 

     “You? A character? Never!” You teased her, feigning shock. You’d been at Smosh since long before Amanda and ever since you’d known her she was always working on one character or another. 

     “Her name’s Annabelle Charlemagne,” she said, already adopting an accent, “and you are absolutely stunning darling, can I buy you a beverage?”

     She was fully in character now, so you played along.

     “I’d be honored,” you batted your eyelashes at her.”

     “I just have never seen such exceptional beauty. I am charmed.” She grabbed your hand and kissed it. 

     You glanced over and saw Angela watching you from afar. Catching you staring  at her she quickly looked away. But not before giving you a wink and a smile. 

     Angela. You two had been dating for a few weeks now, and you couldn’t be happier. But you hadn’t exactly told the rest of the cast yet. You were planning on waiting for the right time, but you hadn’t found it yet. 

     You knew it was killing Angela. You had no problem keeping your relationship a secret. It was easy and safe and you didn’t want to deal with your friends’ thousands of questions just yet. 

      But Angela was not as great at keeping her mouth shut about everything. You knew she wanted to let the cat out of the bag. Or rather, couldn’t help herself from accidentally giving everyone a sneak peek at a paw or whiskers. More than once you’d had to cover for her calling you ‘babe’ or her absentmindedly reaching over to touch you.

     Not that you two didn’t have your hidden moments. Sneaking off in between shows or volunteering to go work on something together. You couldn’t stop a blush from forming on your cheeks at the thought of all the things the walls had seen here that all of your friends hadn’t. 

     Now, Amanda’s voice brought you out of your thoughts.

     “Anyways darling, I’d love to get your number but—oh, I’ve forgot my cellular, one moment, let me fetch my husband’s.”

     She stared at you, losing the accent. “Get it, cause I’m flirting with you… but I’m married? And British!”

     You laughed, “Right. Well I’m still waiting on that beverage.”

     She fluffed her hair, “In due time.”

     “Alright everyone, quiet on set.”

     You shifted away from Amanda, preparing to start filming. You looked around at the rest of the cast—you loved your job here. Glancing over at Angela, you tried to catch her eye, but she wasn’t looking at you. She was looking down, a troubled expression on her face. You’d talk to her after this shoot, you told yourself. Maybe you two could even get lunch together later. It seemed like forever ago since you’d done that last. And you hadn’t even been dating a month yet! The director’s booming voice brought your attention back to the present. 

     “Rolling…and action!”

     “Alright everyone, take 10,” the director called. Everyone in the cast began filing out of the studio, taking a break before they had to finish filming this show. You joined them, heading to the next room for water.

     You had just stepped towards your bag and began to rifle through it when you felt someone behind you.

     “Guess who?”

     You didn’t turn around right away. You knew who. 

     “Spencer?”

     “Try again,” she said, quieter this time with a hint of amusement in her voice.

     “Chris Kattan?”

     “Ok, if one more person tells me that—” she started incredulously.

     You turned around, smiling at her “Kidding.”

     She reached out and brushed a strand of hair back from your face. “Hey beautiful, I haven’t had time alone with you all day.” 

     It was true. It felt like you spent less and less time together—what between filming and trying to not seem like you were dating.  You leaned into her touch, and she stepped towards you. 

      You remembered yourself and spun back around, “Angela, not here.”

      You felt her breath on your hair as she leaned towards you and said, “I don’t see anyone here.”

     “Angela, what are you—”

     Without warning, you felt her mouth on your neck. She began trailing kisses down your shoulder and you suppressed a shudder, leaning into her. 

     “Ange, what if someone sees us?” You whispered, glancing around nervously.

     She kept her lips on you, biting down softly as she sucked at the skin on your neck.

     You closed your eyes, savoring this stolen moment despite yourself. 

     “Angela—”

     “(Y/n)? You want me to stop?” she looked up at you.

     “No, definitely no.”

     She continued, bringing her lips to your ear. She was silent for a while, and then—

     “Still thinking about Amanda?” She breathed, her voice hoarse.

     “What?” You managed. That was the last thing you’d expected her to say. 

     “I saw you…earlier,” for the first time, you detected a hint of uncertainly in her voice.

      You tried to recall what she was talking about. 

     “You know, with the ‘oh you’re gorgeous darling’ and ‘why thank you take me home with you’,” You could tell she was trying to keep her tone light. You tried not to smile at her dedication to the character, even in a situation like this. 

     “That? Angela, she was showing me a bit,” you couldn’t help but smile now. “I—Wait, is that what this is about?”

     “What a girl can’t kiss her girlfriend without having ulterior motives!” You raised an eyebrow at her and she looked down sheepishly. “Ok, fine maybe I was a little jealous.”

     You marveled at the fact that Angela Giarratana was jealous. Because of you. You’d made her jealous. “Well, you don’t have to worry about anything. I love you, remember.”

     “Yeah you do,” Angela waggled her eyebrows and leaned her head against your shoulder. You rolled your eyes at her—she was impossible—but you realized you were grinning.

     “I love you more.”

      You looked at her against you, this beautiful woman who cared so much about you, and kissed her. She kissed you back wrapping her hands around your neck. 

     “Thought you were afraid people will see us?” Angela mumbled against your lips. 

     “I don’t care,” and as you said it, you realized it was true. You didn’t need to wait for a “right time” to tell your friends about your relationship. “I don’t care if they find out.”

     “Glad you felt that way, because if we didn’t tell them that hickey sure will.”

     You looked down at your neck where a mark was already starting to form, evidence of Angela’s jealousy. 

     “Good, let them know I’m yours.”

     “I like the sound of that,” Angela said, “Shall we?” She gestured to the doorway.

     You nodded, taking her hand and walking into the next room and over to the center  where all of the cast was mingling, taking advantage of the break.

     When you towards them, all eyes eventually turned to you and Angela, settling on your interlocked fingers. Your friends traded looks. 

     Amanda spoke up first, “(Y/n)? Angela? You, and you?” 

     “And is that a hickey?”

     “You wanna take this or should I?” Angela asked you, her eyes twinkling. Everyone stared at you and Angela, awaiting an explanation.

      “Nothing much to tell, other than you all should know Angela’s a possessive, jealous—”

     “Well if you’re not going to tell it right—” she interrupted loudly. 

     You looked at her, letting her know you were only teasing. 

     “Well, they always say actions speak louder than words,” you said before kissing her again. This time in front of everyone else. “Besides,” you whispered, only to her, your lips trailing down her jawline “it’s only fair if I return the favor and make you mine.”

     “Oh, (Y/n), I’ve been yours for a while now.”

PEOPLE FROM SMOSH THAT DESERVE LOVE

So it’s come to my attention since I joined this fandom that quite a few members of Smosh (mainly Boze and Olivia) don’t get enough credit nor are there any/there’s very little fanfics of.

First off  Boze

  I mean look at this woman. She’s absolutely amazing. She’s really funny, pretty, and she has the attitude of a QUEEN. Her IG is also amazing, if you don’t follow her on there do so. She has the cutest instagram ever, like she has the best instagram out of all of Smosh games absolutely. I feel like she doesn’t get the love she deserves from the fandom just because she’s the new girl. Damon joined at the same time ass her and she’s ignored while he’s taken all of tumblr and wattpad for himself. Like she’s just in the background, she deserves better. Love for Boze 2k18

Seondly Olivia

  This girl is so adorable and funny. She’ll say something stupidly funny/ adorable and it gets passed over by the fans for something less funny/cute that Courtney said. No hate to Courtney I love her but Olivia seems really ignored and that makes me sad. She’s seems so sweet and ugh. LIke did you guys not notice she gave Noah her Jacket during the “sexy just dance hot tub party” video because she noticed he was cold even though it was obvious that   she was cold? It’s also been revealed that she gives a lot of gifts which AWE. She’s also a little childish adding to her cuteness. Long story short, OLIVIA IS TO CUTE FOR US AND WE DON’T DESERVE HER AND SHE ISN’T EVEN LOVED AND RESPECTED

Since we’re on the topic of the Smosh Squad Keith

  Keith is one of the funniest male members of Smosh. Like he’s hilarious but he’s ignored a lot.  I get it his hair isn’t as great as Wes, and  he doesn’t have Flitz’s abs. But Keith makes he laugh harder than they do 90% of the time.He’s overshadowed by Shyane a lot too. He’s also lowkey adorable, like when he’s in a live and doesn’t get the game, or he has to open/close his eyes and he quietly whispers something and gives himself away, its adorable, like give Keith more love dude. 

I’m planning on starting some preferences for Smosh and and writing some oneshots for Olivia and Boze. I love them they’re some of my favorites and you need to love them too

But yeah I can see that she might upset because Shayne just wreck the show and goes his own way. I remembered on newer Smosh Games livestream on YT that Shayne mentioned that Sarah was super pissed when he done that.
