studies are important, and felix absolutely has some aesthetic coming-of-age/self-care/blossoming second love moments on that coast. he’s ok, i promise.

the minho defrost was low-key one of my favourite things to write about, as was the banter (which you’re right, is really just par for the course at this point, these two kids really do assume they’re in the right 110% of the time)

informed (as much as can be in these times) consent is sexy and no one can convince me otherwise. i adored writing a minho who was slowly realising the fuckin depths of misinformation and actively harmful expectations they had drilled into reader about sex.

(and also that lil self-realisation that he’s taken so much of his anger at the situation out on her that she just assumes he’s not gonna attempt to be gentle. that is the shot to the system he needed to realise “oh shit, i have to do better”)

you are correct, minho has zero time for power-grabbing ass-kissers. it just took him a second to realise reader’s in the exact same boat he is, and maybe they can b o n d 🥺

the wine moment was a last-minute addition, mostly to foreshadow minho’s very serious prioritisation of consent. people trying to get reader drunk so the consummation’s more likely to happen? minho was disgusted. so disgusted that oh no, he just has to break things up by making reader dance with him, oh nooooo. (also a moment to realise that reader isn’t an agent in this power-grab, she’s being manipulated just as much as - if not more than - he is)
