(Genshin Impact) Ei being isekai'd into the real world

"The time an Electric God came to my world and became my roommate."

Watching or reading about an Isekai and having one happen to you are two very different things.

Especially when it's a character you know.

God help you, it being a character who is scarily overpowered and one of the most socially inept characters you've seen.

You and Ei lock eyes as you stare at each other confused.

(Ei) "...Where am I?"

Honestly, you think it's a hallucination. Maybe you need to get some sleep.

But when she refuses to go away when you close your eyes, reality starts to sink in as Ei tilts her head curiously.

While you're coming to facts that a woman who could literally kill you has now materialized in front of your eyes, she is taking in her surroundings.

(Ei) "Can you understand me?"

You're quick to answer back, albeit in a panicked manner.

(Ei) "(Y/N)? Do you know where I am?"

...

(Ei) "Your room? Is this Inazuma?"

Thankfully since the Isekai was from a series you actually knew, you're able to explain the situation to her relatively quickly.

But there was the hurdle of getting her back and...well you know, having one of the most powerful women just living with you.

The most important part was to get her to blend in. If people knew, god help you, other fans knew, then you'd both be in deep trouble.

Though maybe you can pass her off as a cosplayer. A really devoted cosplayer.

(Ei) "I see...Well until I can get back, I will be in your care. Thank you for your assistance."

She's surprisingly calm about the situation, though that may be attributed to her not knowing anything from the outside world, let alone her own.

To pass the time, she asks you a lot of things about what people do in their freetime, what this world is like, and how they interact.

It's an endless barrage of questions, but you're able to provide the most important answer.

How do the sweets in your world taste?

Expectedly, she doesn't go out to find a job or anything, instead sitting in your room, using your computer to find all sorts of information, especially about the rest of her own world via the wiki.

But you try to avoid letting her access that since having to explain that is...complicated and a bit too meta.

Besides, how the hell do you explain to Ei that her failed creation of a child is going to be a "party member"?

With Ei now in your life, things get very chaotic despite her calm nature.

Not to mention she still has access to her Vision, so she's able to smite lightning at will, cutting out power and scaring the absolute piss out of anyone she deems a threat.

Some luck you have getting Ei of all people.

as far as season premieres go, this one is... okay? i thought we were getting zombie apocalypse and i got weird boring daytime ghosts. bloody mary is THEE scariest episode of spn but man, spn forgot how to make stuff scary somewhere along the way because the ghosts in this episode just look... like cosplayers who got lost

but that being said the PATHOS in this episode gives me some good fucking food. the way that cas is SO very careful with jack's body. like. that's his KID. and he had to watch him die. and he couldn't do anything. and it was his dad that killed him. and this is cas losing the very last bit of his faith. and cas smiting things will never cease to be amazing. but we're concentrating on the SAD here.

cas' "well i wouldn't starve" is SO VERY BITCHY. and he has every right to be at this point.

dean is doing an AWFUL lot of hindsight declarations. first he always knew that jack would go bad and then he always knew that chuck would go bad. he is very conveniently rewriting his own history and it is a very interesting choice for him to make.

cas lifts that giant slab of stone above his head and all i can do is have a dean winchester "SO STRONG" moment. (so STRONG!)

cas having to watch a demon parade around wearing the corpse of his kid is... he is literally going through one of the worst experiences of his life. and sam and dean are pretty much completely ignoring it and telling him to suck it up and get over it. and then he's ORDERED to give up his blood. cas is no longer "always happy to bleed for the winchesters" and you know what? HE'S RIGHT!

this is why the divorce arc is SO necessary (in my opinion). cas has reached a point where he has NO autonomy with the winchesters. dean, and to an extent sam, are treating him like a soldier--like how john treated them. they're giving him orders and expecting him to obey them. cas has lost EVERYTHING--his son, his family, his faith--and sam and dean don't acknowledge his loss or his pain. they expect him to get over it and do his job--follow their orders. and that is why it is so VITAL that cas leave.

cas' pain being so much that he can't even stand to be in the car with dean and belphagor... he is HURTING! he is in TRAUMA! (and i guess everyone else is too but cas is the only one who is visibly showing it, other than dean making a "whoopsie" statement in the crypt)

good to know that cas doesn't need to touch people to heal them. he just does that for dean because dean is ✨special✨. and when it comes time to fix sam cas is like "ew yucky" and makes sure to keep a good five inches between his hand and sam's body

these broad daylight ghosts are stupid

though cas being pissy because sam shot him is fun. see, that's why cas doesn't touch you when he heals you, sam. all i can think about in this scene watching cas run is misha running on his shitty old man hips and his brand new shiny titanium hips

and then belphagor mocking cas over dean's treatment over him... dean not being able to keep himself from coming to cas but immediately forcing himself away... AH IT'S SO PAINFUL. i love it.

ok so its like. a bunch fo ccs (ill give the list in a sec) right. but theyre all RATS. they are rats living in a house (that is actually much much bigger than them) and like. and. they are just surviving and doin rat things. i THNIK they have a set amount of lives but i dont aCTUALLY know how many off the top of my head i just know its a thing. if anyone makes a "haha jimmys gonna die first" joke i will smite you. /silly.

the humans are npcs, they roam around and theyll try and catch the rats. you get moved to a cage trap thingy if you get caught nd you have 7 minutes for someone to free you before you die and lose a life!!!!

also the rats all have different heights. i.e jimmy is like. SLIGHTLY taller than lizzies character. they all have different like. "things" too. its so silly.

I love playing Smite and I always loved the skin Fiendish flight of the Goddess Jing Wei and so I decided to make her for the convention. The costume was a mixture of sewing and EVA foam craftsmanship! Doing cosplays for years help made my decision on what I want to do with my life. It has helped me become a costumer, makeup artist, and prop master for theatre! I have been going to Yamacon for 5 years now. Yamacon is a smaller con in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This con would be a good con for newer cosplayers. It will welcome you into the con life and experience. My favorite part of the con is definitely the cosplay contest! I’ve been competing for 4 years and have placed every time! But other than that, my favorite part is seeing my friends and having fun being nerds.

I must say that I lost my motivation a bit because of the pandemic... But I hope that con will be able to open soon, I miss that 🥺
