okay so because I'm feeling super silly and awesome, I'm gonna dump an episode idea on you. Now that we saw that 3 and 4 both have some weird shit about each other. Like the fact that 4 has memes that paint him real fruity (which he is) and like. 3 installing a camera in 4's room, maybe even the locket to an extent..maybe even notebook stuff. Imagine they just find these stuff about each other (maybe even things we didn't know about previously!). Imagine the kind of conversations that would go down between the 2. Maybe others getting involved to try and solve their possible quarrel about it. Imagine the feelings coming out. Both having to be honest and confess what had been bothering them. Imagine the shock on both their faces when they realise the crush is mutual. Imagine the absolute lack of shock with everyone else cuz they were just waiting on when it would happen. Imagine 3 being reluctant about like, hugging 4 or something, considering their friends are right there and he gives the vibes of not liking PDA that much but 4 is such a lovesick idiot he pulls him into a kiss right in front of everyone- and at that point- would 3 really want to pull away anyways? He did want this, albeit it turned out really awkward for him and he didn't want the others to see him so flustered. But at least it'd happen.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! ^^ That is such a freaking adorable idea for an episode!! I would also 100% read a fic of this. If there were fics for every episode idea fans have come up with, I'd be reading the HELL out of those!!

This idea for a SMG4 recap all depends on whether or not a perma-dead character comes back (the fan favorite to return is Axol but I wouldn't be mad if another character got resurrected before he did)

The recap episode begins with the revived character looking at pictures in a photo album and having a confused look on their face.

The current main cast member they're closest to (for Desti it would be Meggy, for Axol it'd be Melony, for Greg it would be Mario and for Spudnick it would be both SMG1 and/or SMG2) walks into the room and sees the revived character's confused face.

They ask the revived character what's wrong and the revived character asks for context behind the pictures they weren't present for.

The revived character's friend/love intrest starts recapping what happened to create each picture, with the revived character chiming in during events they were present for.

Maybe you could even have it were they're both wrong about a situation neither were present for with the grayscaled clip showing what really happened, putting a unique spin on the recap episode that I have seen only done somewhat once before (in ATLA)

The end of the episode would be the characters who were recapping to look over at their friends and smile softly before getting up and joining them in their chaotic shenanigans, a final grayscaled clip of their revival playing before the episode ends on the view of the opened photo album.

Soooo, I have this dumb, but fun idea forn an SMG4 episode:

It all starts off with our good ol' main trio

(Smg4, Smg3, and Mario) going about their lives like usual except things are a little bit off.

Smg4 is having a hard time meming properly, Smg3 barely handle his 'Precious high quality handmade bombs' right, and Mario is unable to do his normal antics (like exagerating his facial features and Janking around).

It then cuts to them all in the castle watching tv in the main lobby and venting about how weird their day was, but Smg4 chalks it all up to being an off day. Mario chimes in agreeing that this was just a fluke and things will probably be normal by tomorrow.

Not a moment later, Smg1 & Smg2 bust through the doors.

Smg1 asks the trio if they've noticed something strange going on with them 4 gives him the rundown and 1 reveals that him and smg2 have been having the same issue with their meme powers going out of wack. Luckily for them, Smg1 & 2 have managed to find the source of the problem.

There's a "meme bank" quite far from the kingdom that has been using memes SOOOO incorrectly that the internet has been falling out of love with memes as whole, and if it continues it can put whole balance in jeporady.

Without a moment to waste, they suit up and go to pull a heist on the meme bank to set them free.

They soon find the 'big bad' in charge of the place, (who's your standard clout chasing content pumper who dosen't see memes as a form of art, but a mere tool as a means to get famous quick.) Take him down with good ol' smg4 style combat and free the captive memes and destroying the bank in the process.

They gang later celebrate their victory and being happy that they're back to normal selves again. As for the memes that were freed, they're now going to be seen either chilling or helping out around the showgrounds, (the dead ones) at the internet graveyard, or happily working at the meme factory.

(Oh and the content pumper in jail or smth idk lol)

Going to post this small snippet spoiler for another SMG4 animatic I’m cooking up for viewing pleasure (and also simply because these characters are slowly seeping into my subconscious. As we speak Mr. Puzzles is directing my actions so that I can push his name into stardom with “gloriously animated content” HE’S KEEPING ME HOSTAGE HELP /J)

I love musicals and Mr. Puzzles strikes me as a theater nerd so I figured Hairspray (song being Welcome to the 60’s) was a good fit, plus wouldn’t it be fun to see Meggy try and help him along to start a redemption arch? Like how could they not carry a bit of sentimentality over the time spent together? I feel like her resilient passive aggressive energy pairs well with how he can be stubborn sometimes too…she can give him the push (or more like a well-intentioned shove) he needs to get his act together and give it another try! Because a part of me feels like he would want to regress into unhealthy past habits after facing so many defeats at the hands of SMG4 crew; shut himself in solitude and stare at a screen. So think the animatic would start with that scene and then lead into the musical number :D

It's not a full idea but it's a concept :3

I thought why not have Shroomy feel like he's been ignored and kicked to the wayside for far too long?

Smg3 needs some help getting a hold of new stock (not re-stocks, new bombs and weapons), he's tried many other places but to no luck. He remembers Shroomy knows how to make any weapon from basically nothing/just has stuff laying around he's made (example being the nukes for War on Beeg Smg4 he just for some reason had)

Smg3 calls him up to ask if he can help. Smg3 being Smg3 would let it slip that Shroomy was his last pick. By this point Shroomy, and by extension Anti, are fed up with being shoved to the side and used just for a joke, now only being used because he just so happens to have a use to them. He talks with him for a bit but eventually just blows up, he's just pissed off at this point. Even some Anti slips out in his outburst.

He hangs up the phone (breaks it) and Smg3 is just left standing there in shock. He goes to Smg4 to tell him what just happened (I feel like Smg4 would genuinely say "Who-?" and Smg3 is like "Oh my fucking god we're terrible friends-")

They go over to talk to him but it ends in another outburst, he brings up not being updated like the others have and just being forgotten about and he kicks the 2 of them out. Welp, now what?

That's mainly what I got. I came up with this from a few things.

1. People have been pretty vocal about wanting Shroomy back

2. It just feels like he's been thrown out by Luke and Kevin despite being the first actual original character

3. There's an episode where towards the end Shroomy legit says "Oh gee, seems like they forgot about me again.. heheh.." I can't remember which episode so someone will have to tell me

And

4. He wasn't invited to the 2022 Christmas party. Ofc you can chalk it up to him spending it with Lady D and his cousins but still

Personally I feel like this could be a mini arc. This could involve the other forgotten characters but would mainly be about Shroomy and Anti seeing as they were the ogs. I wouldn't want this to be solved with just one episode, a series of episodes could work better.

Hell, you could even include Mr Puzzles, he could be like a devil on the shoulder, coaxing and further fueling Shroomy's mental state by fabricating recordings or hell, even recording an actual conversation the others had about him

It could really go anywhere but a mini arc that would result in him and others being updated and used more would be cool

Stupid Princess Peach: Showtime!

SMG3 and Mario are trying their hands at theatre again (this time with no petty revenge or cats, thankfully), and it's opening night for [INSERT NAME FOR NEW PLAY HERE] at the prestigious Sparkle Theater. Notable attendees are Tari and Saiko (no one outright says it's a date but the implication is there), the Robotnik family, and Peach, Franky and Desmond. Unfortunately, before the play can begin the theater is attacked by the mysterious Grape and her Sour Bunch, who capture 3, Mario, and the lead actors, blow all the audience members except Peach, Saiko, Franky and Sage out of the building, and magically seal the place.

So now the four of them have to work together, with the help of the Theater's mystic guardian Stella, to save their friends and kick Grape's ass out'a there.

(let me rephrase that: Peach and Saiko have to actually work together)

Swagmaster and sonic is such a underrated and underutilized dynamic I think. They're literally canonically married yet no one talks about it other than like surface level stuff and trivia knowledge.

Like yeah sonic doesn't like swag back but like at the end scene of if mario was in the sonic movie 2, he at least shows some interest as he cares about what swag thinks of him now he's sanic. Or maybe he's just interested in the diamond or whatever the ring is made of and is pretending to like swag because of that (and also swag would probably kill him if he said no because the dudes part of the military)

Swag is also one of my favourite minor characters which is why I want this dynamic to be explored more. We need more Swag screen time in general but also with others characters other than Chris (and Karen in that one episode).

I also think it's super funny though that the only canonical ship other than axolony is a fucking crackship of all things.

Mario's Fundamental Paper Education!

Following bullshit happening with a magic book that happened to be in the foyer of the castle, Mario, Meggy, and Luigi get sucked into the world of Fundamental Paper Education! Deciding to enroll in Paper School, even after seeing the.. violent methods the teachers employ when a student gets a bad grade.

Of course, inevitably, Mario gets a shit grade in Miss Circle's class, causing him to get chased down and lead to a lot of close calls, including nearly going into △lice's room at some point, but somehow avoiding that.

They do eventually get out after Luigi finds them a way out, and Mister Demi, the music teacher, helps them. Magic books are banned for a long while after that.

Even though IGBP was part of the Puzzlevision arc, I'm still going to believe in the idea that SMG4's episode was actually done mostly on his own. As in, without the influence of Mr. Puzzles.

Mr. Puzzles could have, for example, only had influence on giving SMG4 the idea of making a perfect video and then given him the keyboard when he had already gotten obsessed with the idea on his own.

Personally I think it just makes sense for IGBP to have been that important outside of Puzzlevision and itd be a really disappointing conclusion if this wasn't the case.

SMG4 Movie: Memories

SMG3’s plan consists of most of the crew and their allies fighting off the robots outside of the hooded figure’s lair. This is only a distraction while Meggy, Desti, SMG3, Saiko, SMG4, and Kaizo confront the villains. They soon fight Waggy and the hooded figure, who reveals himself to be Stager. He reveals he saw potential in Meta Runner arms for military use, and he preformed experiments on humans. This got him blacklisted, so he plans on using Tari and the rest of the army to show the world. Waggy betrays him after learning his identity, not willing to work with a human even for revenge on Meggy. She tries to leave, but is caught and thrown in a cell with the heroes, expect for SMG3 and Saiko who escape. In a cell, Waggy tries to kill Meggy but winds up knocking herself out and opening a hole in the wall. The four make it to the center of the lab, where Stager is preparing a mech with a giant Meta Runner. Meanwhile, SMG3 and Saiko make it to Stager’s main computer and find Clench, but soon discover that there is no backup of Tari’s memories. They are confronted by the overridden Tari, who threatens to kill them. While SMG3 looks for an escape route, Saiko spark Tari’s memories, being pushed to her limit.

“You’re not a violent robot. You love video games and ducks. You try your best to help your friends despite your fears and insecurities. You have lots of friends who love you…including me.”

This sparks something in Tari, and she gets her memories back. SMG3 quickly reattaches Clench and the four run to help the others, walking into the battle with Stager. An hard battle ensures, and the crew seem to take down Stager and destroy the robots’ control center. However, Stager tries to fire one more shot at Meggy. Desti pushes her out of the way, but is hit with the blast herself. She appears dead, and Meggy hugs her body, yelling at herself for failing again. And then:

“Come on Meggy, history isn’t repeating.”

It turns out that not only is Desti alive, but the memory reader function of the Meta Runner arm was able to restore her memories.

The crew celebrates their victory, and Stager is brought to prison by Hal. Tari starts to question what Saiko said about love, but brushes it off as platonic. (It wasn’t). However, Waggy is seen leaving the lab, swearing revenge.

like,, smart mario is trying to convince mario to be like. apeshit. like. "aren't you tired of being nice? don't you wanna go insane?"

igbp smg4 doesn't speak to 4. he only mumbles "it's gotta be perfect" under his breath over & over like a broken record. sometimes he look up at 4 but it's clear that he doesn't see him.

past smg3 is. past smg3. taunting smg3 for "going soft" & that of the like. how "being good" is soo boring &. yeah.

& maybe all of their mirrored selfs are positioned/posed differently to reflect their vibe!! smart mario is standing with his back straight, his eyes(?) narrowed at his current self like he's judging him. igbp 4 is laying against the glass, his head tilted down so you can barely see the creaks on his face & the insanity in his eyes, barely managing to keep himself up. past 3 is laying his back against the mirror, his head turning every so often to look at his current self with either a shiteating grin or a snarl.

Hey!! So turns out a video I made between a certain “well beloved but highly sensitive/emotionally reactive T.V” and an “orange haired inkling-turned-human” has managed to sweep my YouTube channel and accumulate 100k VIEWS!! THAT’S A LOT OF PEOPLE ACTUALLY?? My most widely viewed video EVER to exist in this moment in time?? AAAAA?? Not even mentioning the various comments and staggering increase in subs! It’s so much more then what I expected or even prepared for—might even be the most impactful thing to happen for me this year <3

…aside from graduating high school + the social connections I’ve been fortunate to make lol

BUT THE POINT IS I’d been closely monitoring the YouTube growth through the entirety of October. It’s make me smile like a dork, gawk in astonishment, dance frantically in my room from the energy boosts, and grow courage to stop being so selective/self-conscious with what I wish to share with the world! It’s kept my ambitions going!

I needed to find some way to celebrate the occasion and express my thanks—because I can’t NOT acknowledge this milestone jksjskp. Typically I try to avoid getting tunnel visioned focusing on the metrics/numbers. Mr. Puzzles had already demonstrated how much those things can mess with the minds of creatives. Caring too much about chasing views or placing your artistic value in attention seeking gets damaging. But at same time…it’s hard to deny the sense of pride the 100k achievement has filled me with. I understand that reaching 100k views doesn’t immediately make me any “better” or “worse” then I was before. I’m still just me! It only helps me feel seen by others—and that’s all I really needed. To hear some nice words & receive reminders that my ideas are cared about. So thank you SMG4 fandom for that, seriously thank you.

Please accept this Mr. Puzzle drawing as a way of sharing the happiness around. He’s so entertaining. Love him for simply existing. So glad we can all collectively be super attached to him (and the rest of the SMG4 cast of course). Can’t wait to see more incredible artworks from the fandom :)

Just incase anyone is confused by my vague description over which “animated video” I’m referring to here—hopefully this photo will help clarify lol. It’s this one!! Sorry about not outright stating the title at the start, I got carried away with writing!!

I’ve been in an odd place mentally when thinking about it. Wondering to myself if any of the attention is deserved considering it’s not even fully colored and could be dismissed as “low effort” content (despite taking several days making it). It’s easy to get into a trap of comparing yourself to others and questioning how much of the videos success is based on your skills, sheer algorithm luck, or only because you used popular characters and catered to a specific fandom. And then judging yourself by looking at other peoples videos. I’ve seen several artists post higher quality works then my own but it somehow gets less views. So why did mine succeed when others (who should have gotten just as much attention if not more) didn’t? Sometimes you feel like you’ve unfairly robbed them of that chance to be seen. However I’ve realized that I can’t ever expect views to be consistent—and comparing is pointless. So why worry about it or feel inadequate? I mean it’s pretty common for funny cat videos to go viral, so who am I to question the system lol. “Popular” YouTube videos can range from a passion project which took 7+ artists…to a clip of Toad singing Chandelier or a nonsensical Vine sketch. Anything can happen when it’s the internet! And just-so-happened my video was chosen. I should stay glad about that and get rid of all the overanalyzing. So that’s what I’ve chosen to do :)

ok i have a silly little theory about the potential third movie (or meme games or wotfi or whatever) to top off the adware thing..

disclaimer: i have no idea what's going to go down in tomorrows episode since it's a premiere and could end up being a whole thing, but if they set peach up as the next villain then just forget that this post exists-

ANYWAYS.

So I've seen a few posts here, and I've been theorying with my friends about it, and we've all agreed that Smg4 and Meggy (specifically those two) have been really dickish to Mario lately. Like, Meggy's grown a massive ego and been pretty mean to him in episodes like Mario's tunnel of doom and Mario harms the environment, and that was never really addressed like I thought it would be in Western Spaghetti (she's done the same thing with tari as well, but that's a whole different thing tbh).

And 4 is pretty much the same! He was a total ass to Mario before IGTBP (which makes sense considering that he was a little insane, but he still hurt Mario's feelings) but then during the movie they never really... resolved it. Like, Mar10 day and the best friend award were never mentioned.

Now this could just be the writing or something, BUT I'VE HAD A BIG BRAIN MOMENT.

What if Mario finally snaps back?

Like, Meggy and 4 are supposed to be his closest friends, and they just keep treating him like shit? I think it would be so cool if the Adware entity or organisation noticed that and used it to, like, manipulate him into turning against the gang or something- because it tells people what they want to hear. Like it told 4 he could make the perfect video, and it told Wren that he could get his life back. What if it tells Mario that he deserves better? That he doesn't deserve to be friends with people who just treat him like he's some kind of incapable baby?

Of course, this probably won't happen since they'll probably set up Peach as the new big boss thing for whatever happens next with the Adware/new castle stuff... but it's cool to think about, at least :P
