SMfSL prequel info ! <3

So, thanks to the poll, I’ve decided to title the fic:

violence and other romances

the majority of the story will take place during Evan and Barty’s fifth year of Hogwarts and will focus on them and their building relationship.

you will likely see some of the flashbacks that Regulus had in So Much for Summer Love as present scenes because it’s a prequel.

im not too sure on the length the fic will be yet, ive hardly even mapped out a plan for chapter one but i’ll likely be posting about it a lot more !!

i’m going to make a post similar to the one i did when announcing These Shadows Will Consume Us,, so expect that.

Excerpt:

Dean exhales loudly through his nose, looking up at the night sky that seems to fascinate Cas so much.

“So. Two months and you’re gone?”

“Yeah… Sorry I can’t offer you more than that.”

“Nah, it’s okay, man. It’s actually like… meant to be or something. I'm also leaving town after the summer, anyway, ya know?”

A cricket (or a grasshopper, or something) chirps away in the lukewarm night, and a thin layer of sweat starts to form on Dean’s skin.

“I guess we can't make any promises, now, can we?"

"Guess not…”

“But…” Castiel starts and Dean drags his eyes down to look back at him, “I can make you another drink?" he offers, shaking his own empty glass.

"Sure. Why not."

Summary:

After a perfect summer together and thinking they'll never see each other again, Dean and Cas run into each other at school.

The only problem?

Cas (25) is a teacher and Dean (20), a student. Oh, and Cas' dad is the school principal. What could possibly go wrong.

me when i realise i cant study for my literature exam at the same time as writing the last chapter of SMfSL

so i officially probably won’t be writing for the next few weeks, considering (starting tomorrow) i now have my GCSE exams to take 😍

knowing me i’ll probably end up writing during the weekends or the week i have of break but i’m not promising anything

and i very much doubt i’ll get out a SMfSL update during this next month either

yesterday, before i wrote or posted the last chapter of SMfSL, the fic had like barely 200 hits

today i was just looking through the comments and i just found out that the fic now has over 4k hits…

i’m just in complete shock if i’m honest idk what to say

honestly i don’t talk about it enough but Remus’ flashback >>>

Remus felt like crying, or exploding, or both. His knees were shaking and his head was swimming; he was sure he was about to shoot right through the roof any minute.

He’d kissed Sirius. Heir to the Black family; Padfoot; his best friend of five years; Sirius ‘I’ve had three girlfriends’ Black.

I think the fact that Remus gets a flashback in jegulus’ story is super important, but i’m not gonna tell you why it’s important because it may or may not have something to do with my idea for a sequel

And she smiled. She bloody smiled. Regulus took a cookie from the tray an elf held out to him. He didn’t smile, he couldn’t, but he wanted to.

Reg’s inability to smile for the majority of my fic fills me with so much love and sadness at the same time.
