idk if this is an unpopular opinion but i’m sick of people excusing bad behaviours with excuses like “but xx just wanted to protect xx!!!” “they’re a complex character!!! you’re just mischaracterising them!!! they’re a good brother/sister/parent!!!” and say stuff like how you don’t get their character if you hate them for their actions even if you know why they do it and still don’t like them

neglect is still neglect

abuse is still abuse

right intentions but wrong executions are still bad 😭😭😭
