from the vibes you get from him in the short stories I don't think emmrich would ever do this (he seems very sweet and personable, honestly), BUT it would be extremely funny if over the course of the game he met dorian and made subtle fun of him for being a mooaboo (mortalitasi weeaboo, to be clear).

dorian really went to nevarra on holiday with his family once as a teenager, saw the goths there doing their locked tomb flavoured fuckery with all the bells whistles and bones, and then made that his entire personality and professional expertise for years even after he returned to tevinter. he's a nerd. he's a second hand goth. he's gay. he broke the fabric of space and time as a side project in university. he has alcoholic tendencies apparently inherited from his mother and immaculate fashion game. he cheats at chess. he loves fereldan beer but would rather die than admit to it publicly. he's a magister now. he's allergic to stripweed. I'm in tears I just love him so much

Who would you cast as Kaz? How about all the Crows?

You're going to be disappointed in this answer, but my preference would be to go with a cast of unknown/newer actors, which inherently means that I can't give you a cast list :/ idk I just feel like that would be the best choice for the story practically and thematically.

That being said, I honestly feel like the best way to adapt soc would be in animation. I know that would literally never happen, but in general when it comes to stories with very vibey worlds and magic systems I feel like animation is almost always the best way to go. It's really easy for the sets and costumes to look cheap or super generic in live action, and that's even more true for any effects for the magic system. Soc has such a unique flavor and atmosphere that even if an adaptation had, like, game of thones money and an insane powerhouse creative team, it's just really hard for me to see it getting done right in live action.

Our flight out of Phoenix was literally perfect. The first officer pilot spoke with us before takeoff mainly teasing me about my bringing a jacket on board. He was all "are you on the right flight we are going to honolulu so you don't need a coat" That pilot was freaking hilarious. I had so many airplane questions for him which he answered all of them but wouldn't let me help fly the plane which I have experience with flight simulator. He said I needed more simulator time.🤭
