i really love spare me your mercy as a thriller and it's doing an incredible job at keeping me glued to the screen, but truly at this point i AM becoming more puzzled by the mystery of what on earth the two leads' relationship status is than the murders

#i'm not saying they have to go heavy on the romance. i'm just very confused!#it looks like a kiss might happen in the last episode based on the preview but i don't think they've kissed so far?? did i forget??#am i supposed to assume that happened off screen? that would be basically alright (if odd) but nothing really hints at it #and a slow build is cool but they were talking about moving in together! and that ALSO seems to happen in the preview #fjkdf. it's a very cherry magic sort of relationship progression but in a context where that feels much odder. ??#*#spare me your mercy

The silence is broken only once Eddie’s dressed, has all his things, and is about to open the front door. Buck’s inwardly panicking, it feels like a huge moment they can’t come back from, and he needs to say something, make it better, make sure they can still be just them… but has no idea what to say. When he opens his mouth what comes out is a quiet:

“We’re good, right?” he fidgets with his fingers, watching nervously as Eddie turns back to look at him. He looks so small, shoulders hunched, clothes all messy and stretched – Buck has a vague memory of struggling to pull Eddie’s hoodie off – and his eyes are just so sad. “We don’t have to, like, talk about it or something, right? I mean, unless you want to.” he rushes to add. “I just don’t want it to be weird.” he repeats, sounding desperate. And he is. He can’t lose Eddie. Not Eddie. He’s not sure he’d survive it.

Waiting for his response feels like ages, but finally Eddie smiles weakly, his hand tightening on the door handle, and says, sounding almost pained, but Buck chooses to believe it’s his imagination:

“No, we’re all good. Dumb mistake, we never have to mention it again. We’re good.” he assures, and Buck breathes a sigh of relief, only he’s not fully relieved just yet, something heavy still sitting on his chest. Probably the guilt. Shit, he has no idea what to say to Taylor. “I need to go. I’ll see you at work tomorrow.” his smile turns more genuine, and Buck smiles back. Then he watches Eddie open the door and shut it behind himself.

it’s crazy how i stopped playing wizard 101 for like 12 ish years and suddenly the urge to play it comes back full force and now i can’t go a few hours without thinking about it

anyways i’ve been playing wizard 101 lately

Reading bad reviews for a game I like hurts my heart......complaining about having to craft too much in "craft and design shit The Game" is some bullshit behavior

#made the mistake of reading the reviews lol #sometimes games are not bad theyre just not for you #i dont buy fps games and then go complain in the review about how annoying it is to have to shoot too many people to win lol #anyway #sims girlies that like the build mode of sims more than the actual game #hokko life might be up your alley #def a slow progression gradual unlock style game so if youre not into that maybe not for you #but there is massively freeform crafting and designing of your own items #free non grid item placement #creator challenges etc

yeah so the grey particles are back. i think im genuinely just cursed (ignore my lack of health i was getting my ass handed to me by skyslimes then the server crashed pvfdnkmfl)

#haunted ecosystem #mind you im an angel so i have like no reason tohave particles?? i was searching for the end portal because i havent grabbed the waystone #for it yet but i noticed the particles again......#they come and go and i have no clue Why they happen or where they came from but yeah its. something #also forgive my terrible inventory management i need to work on upgrading my backpacks.#i think i was looking for cod in that screenshot actually. i wanted to bring one with me to the end for an achievement :)#also wanna guess what piece of armor has mending. because its the only one that isnt like 90% dead at any moment #also respiration helmet saves my ass because i get like. slowness X in water. genuinely it took a minute and a half to get out of a #shallow ocean. its horrible. i cannot go Up. i have to use a sinking amulet so i can just build up instead. i parkour out of water #i still need to make a minecraft tag #i might just ask one of the admins for the coordinates of the main end portal and go from there #documenting the experiences on this server since ive been playing on my own for a minute... when i get back on i'll take some screenshots #of the progress on the base ^_^ since im making actual progress finally. i need to reset my home though since thats gonna be in the floor #aaaanywho i'll probably go end city raiding? maybe? honestly no clue yet i just want to get some things

i’ve been waiting my whole life to be an old nerd who plays text-heavy rpgs. i used to sit on the floor and advise my dad while he played civilization and age of empires and mech warrior on his office pc. my brain was built to put a bunch of small numbers together to make guys run around and blood appear. i watched a star trek convention documentary as a child and felt pangs of longing and then went back to playing expert minesweeper

#not that 28 is old i’m just sooo excited to be getting there #diablo is the first time i’ve personally Liked playing a game like this i was always so discouraged by slow progress #but like having jay patiently let me perfect my build and grind was like eye opening watching myself catch up to and surpass him lol idk #video games fun
