ughhh when i go to heaven i hope it’s something like slideaway. two big highlights were seeing Swirlies and Loveliescrushing, two OG shoegaze bands i’d never think i’d get the chance to see live. As my friend put it, LLC’s set transported me to “so many cathedrals”. it was just the best. also Knifeplay did a set of all new material which was incredibly moving. Getting to reunite with Domenic from Nothing (he’s like a father to me) and getting to finally meet Scott Cortez (loveliescrushing and Astrobrite) after years of talking about guitar nerd stuff over the internet was just the coolest too. it was just the best.

The members of Oasis may not be the hottest, but Morning Glory did give us two of the most loved indie/Britpop classics, as well as the genius of Champagne Supernova. As for Definitely Maybe (one of the best albums ever), the outro of Slideaway is just brilliant, and Columbia is a simple but incredible song. I could talk about the entirety of both albums, but that may be going a little too far
