idk if this is unpopular but

i once saw a post about not rushing to lose your virginity WHICH IS 100% VALID, but i lost mine at a very very young age and shamed myself a lot for it, so i was a lil :/ when i read some of the comments

like yes wait for the right person, but like not in the "true love, one person" type of way and more in the like...someone you feel safe experimenting with for the first time type of way, y'know?

and also like, if you did lose your virginity at an early age? and maybe not to that "one person" like common media says? (usually your current or long-term s/o if you have one) that's okay. it doesn't define you and you don't have to be ashamed of it.

idk i might have been projecting LMAO but long story short i dislike the concept of itemizing virginity in general because to me sex is just sex and i don't have much of an intimate relationship with it.
