he’s been out on commission in liyue for the past 3 weeks, but it’s over and you’re staying up past reasonable hours in the hopes you can greet him. stuck thinking about nuzzling his pillow.. missing his scent, you’re curled up on the sheets and ur mind drifts between wake and sleep. but no, you’re adamant on being there when he comes home!!! and the excitement (and sudden wakeness) you feel hearing the unlock of ur front door, signalling his quiet return.. because he wouldn’t want to wake you! ’n you haphazardly saunder downstairs to greet your lover – stumbling just a little from ur fatigue. walking into the hall, wearing one of his red shirts that has seemingly never fit u + watching ajax shrug off that huge coat of his’ ... covered in snow, and quietly slipping his black boots off.

childe only realises you’re there, actually awake in the dead of night, when you clumsily walk to him with welcoming arms. and he chuckles at the sight of your half-asleep self.. he sounds so tired, but so so warm ꒰˶´ ˘ ` ꒱!!! you find that ur entire body just melts into him when his big arms wrap around you, when his lips press a lazy kiss to ur temple... how he missed you. ur head fogging with that natural pine scent he carries when you nuzzle into his neck. ajax’s hand comes to cradle your tired head, fingers interwoven in your hair as he holds you impossibly close. because moments like these remind him, remind the younger boy inside, how truly loved he is; how he has a home to return to, people, family. and when you tell him in a sleepy grumble to come to bed, he will softly say “i will baby, just let me change” 😞😞

oh my god baby this is so cute i think im gonna cry the alcohol is not helping too (ᗒᗣᗕ) the whole waiting for him in bed even though you’re really tired to the part where he shrugs off his coat covered in snow is so so soft omg and then just melting into him too??? i just know he is so warm ARGH and and he would plant so many kisses on your head when you guys get into bed together :(

A Whole and Dangerous Heart is a modified line from a short story I was reading at the time that was thematically similar to the story I was writing. A Permanent Arrangement is a pun because I wanted something cheesy and rom-com-y. He called it “adding another tool to your toolbag.” I try to add things to my toolbag whenever I can.E: If you wrote a sequel to Stay Alive what would it be about?The thrilling sequel, Go Dead. If I ever did this, which I never would because it would literally murder me, it would be a Groundhog Day of Fuck. Toki keeps trying to break the cycle, but no matter what it’s the same end result. He memorizes all the beats, gets everyone out of Mordhaus, but then Salatcia starts changing things. One cycle Skwisgaar dies first. Another cycle Nathan gets corrupted instead of Murderface. Toki’s playing a rigged game, can he ever win?

Morning Blush || Dou & Nev

Tagging → @nevada--saunders Mentions of →  Shower & nudity. Time Frame → June 14, 2017 Location → Hawaii Notes → A morning while Doutzen and Nevada are in Hawaii before they go on a hike. The hike leads to a waterfall and picnic that Nevada surprises Doutzen with.

Nevada woke to the sound of crashing waves and calling seagulls. Remembering that the brunette was sleeping soundly beside him put a smile upon his features. Carefully he stirred, sitting up in bed with a yawn and stretch. Gathering to his feet as Nev, lazily shuffled towards the doors that let a view of the ocean. There was a soft breeze that carried in the scent of salt, refreshing and waking up the mind. It was still early and figured he would give Doutzen more time to sleep. Quietly pushing open the doors and closing them behind him as he crossed the beach. The water was slightly chilly that morning but it never bothered the boy. Wading out into the crystal blue waters and just mesmerized by the view that was offered around them. There little cabin was mostly secluded, providing them with privacy on the beach. Every so often he would see someone jogging along the banks edge, mostly someone who lived miles up. Nevada dived into the water, swimming several leagues before stopping to catch his breath. Salt water burned his eyes slightly but that didn't stop him from treading back towards the shore and diving back out. He spent probably twenty minutes out in the ocean before deciding to head back in. Water dripped from his shaggy hair, reminding him that it needs cut. Pearls of water beaded upon his chest and sculpted arms. As he reached the deck to the cabin, Nev grabbed one of the towels and quickly dried off. Noticing that Doutzen was still sleeping. The boy reached out, tickling a foot that was exposed from under the covers. "Hey, sleepy head. Time's awaiting."

Doutzen automatically pulled her foot under the safety of the covers, her brain not having caught up to the idea that it someone trying to wake her. It was until her brain registered Nevada's voice that she realized it was him playing with her feet and not her nerves playing a trick on her. The girl groaned, pulling the covers over her head in an act of defiance. "I don't wanna," she protested. Though objection was muffled by the sheets. "Come back to bed or go away."

Nevada gave Doutzen a look knowing she wouldn't see it. The huffed with a shake of a head, though, there was still a smile that corrupted his lips. "Suit yourself. I'll give you an hour at the most. I have something special planned today." Nevada turned, leaving to brunette to her rest. First, he went off to fix something to eat. Nothing fancy, two slices of buttered toast and fresh fruit. While eating Nev checked for text messages and emails. Also letting his mom know when exactly he would be visiting back home. Once finished eating, and washing the few dishes he headed out back to the outdoor shower. Pulling the chain to disperse the lukewarm water, before reaching behind him to pull the curtain partially closed. Kicking off his swimming shorts and briefs, standing in the stream of water.

Doutzen tried to fall back to sleep, but her mind was awake with interest as to what Nev might have planned. Not even the calming sound of the waves could calm her mind back to a restful state. It didn't help that she also needed to pee. Not to mention a need to eat. She grabbed her phone and peaked at it, responding to the few text she had While trying to convince herself to get up. After responding to the text, she finally got up. Noticing Nev was nowhere to be seen, she quietly used the restroom, grabbed a banana, and went to see where he ran off to so she could ask him what he might have planned. The sound of running water giving him away. Doutzen walked over closer So she could be heard over the running water. The girl opened her mouth fully intended On asking him her question, but stopped short as she turned to see Nevada standing beneath the stream of water. Her words were caught in her throat as she took in the sight before her, unable to stop herself from doing so.

Nevada let the warm water soothe his sore muscles, waking off any ounce of sleep. Running fingers back through his hair, dampening the blonde locks. Grabbing a bottle of shampoo, and creating a lather with the amount he head. When finished snd starting to rinse the soap out, Nev cocked his head to the side. Seeing a figure out of the corner of his eyes, instantly knowing it was Doutzen. The male became beet red, immediately turning back to his shower. Had the brunette noticed that he caught her looking?

Doutzen's eyes roved all over Nev's body. Would it be wrong to grab his ass, she found herself thinking. Doutzen would have kept staring had she not noticed the red tinge running down his back. It suddenly occurred to Doutzen what she'd been doing and who'd she'd been doing it to. Also that that whom may have actually seen her looking. Unable to help herself Dountzen checked him out one more time as she removed the banana she had stopped mid bite from eating from her mouth. The girl closed her mouth biting back a smile as she looked away. "Nev?" She asked in her most casual tone, "What do you mean you have something special planned?"

Nevada had to calm himself before finding words to speak back to the brunette. The male acted surprised hearing her voice while showering. "Hiking, that's all I will tell you. Where something comfortable and your boots, also wear a swimsuit. We'll be doing some swimming too." He replied. Reaching for a bar of soap to finish washing up. The plan was to hike to a waterfall, not far from there. Have a picnic, and just enjoy the time spent there.

Doutzen didn't respond immediately. She was pretty certain he'd known she'd been there, but she didn't bother to question it. Not wanting to make the situation awkward. "Hiking and swimming?" she wondered aloud. Doutzen wanted to ask where he was taking her that she'd be able to do both, but knew he wouldn't budge. "Okay," she responded since she knew she tended to like Nev's surprises. The girl turned to walk away and suddenly started laughing as she thought about how he'd already given her on surprise already. She walked back inside, having showered the night before she only needed to finish eating and get dressed. Doutzen finished her banana as she picked out what she was going to wear for the day.

Nevada It didn't take long for Nev to finish up in the shower, once the water was off and towel drying his hair he stepped out with the towel secured around his hips. Walking back up into the cabin, knowing Douzten would obviously see him. Nev picked up the clothes he had picked out and went in the bathroom to change. There he dressed, brushed his teeth and finished cleaning up. He stepped out fingers brushing through his hair trying to tame the mess, though, he would be wearing a hat so it didn't matter.

Doutzen had finished setting outfit and was headed to the trash bin to toss out her banana, when Nevada came back in. Doutzen looked up at him and watched as he quickly grabbed his things and went into the restroom. She stared at the door for a second before going to put in her clothes. She put one her white one piece, a pair of shorts, a kimono to cover her skin from the sun, and was lacing up her hiking boots when Nev came out of the bathroom. "Are you planning on growing your hair long?" she questioned though her focused remained on her shoes she could see Nev in her peripheral.

Nevada sported a pair of cargo shorts and a soft white cotton t-shirt. First thing he notice was her white bathing suit, realizing they were both matching in white. "Most likely not, probably cut it when I visit back home. My grandma hates my hair long." He replied, taking a moment to locate his boots. Taking another minute to lace them before getting up and readying to packs for them to carry.

Doutzen stood up and walked back into the kitchen area to grab a breakfast bar. She'd never been a big eater in the mornings, but knew she'd be grumpy if she didn't eat more than just a banana for their hike. "She does?" Quirking her head to the side to look at him, wondering how he'd might look with longer hair. "Do you like your hair longer?" Doutzen actually liked how his hair looked now. She didn't really like his hair too short because then there was nothing to play with. Which was something she enjoyed doing from time to time.

Nevada shrugged, "The longest I've had it is just about to my shoulders." One of the packs he readied was filled with couple water bottles, snacks for the hike, sun blocks, first aid kit and extra clothes. The second pack, had a blanket for their picnic. Followed by a meal he prepared himself the night before. "I like it long sure, but I can stand it for only an amount of time." He replied, before grabbing a sun hat he bought earlier in their week.

Doutzen sat there for a moment trying to picture him with hair so long while she chewed. Slowly she smiled until she giggled. "I can't imagine that. I'm sorry, but I totally need pictures," she stated once she regain her composure. She took the last bite of her bar then walked over to Nev. "Which ones mine?" Doutzen reached out for a bag. "My hair used to be longer. I consider cutting it shorter than it is now sometimes."

Nevada made a face when she asked about seeing a picture of him. He was a lot younger when having the hairstyle at the time. Reaching for the lighter pack before handing it to her. "It's lighter than the other. Also there are straps to buckle across your chest and waist if you want." Nevada gazed at the woman studying her hair and imagining what she would look like with it shorter. "I like how it is now but I also think you would look good with it even shorter." The boy took a second to make sure they had everything, looking down at his wrist to check the time. There was a trail about fifteen minutes up from the cabin before it's another twenty minute walk to get to their destination. "Ready?" He asked.

Doutzen laughed at the face Nevada made at her. She'd see a photo of him whether he liked it or not. Doutzen took the one offered to her. She wasn't going to complain, knowing there was no point. "Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm still not sure about it. I know my boss wouldn't be all that thrilled. Though it would make scribing in for surgery easier," Doutzen thought aloud. The girl went back to her bag, grabbing a baseball cap for the hike. "Now I am," she responded with a smile as she looked back at Nevada.
