like wdym shinichis a night owl and heijis an early riser.. shinichi got too used to rans schedule and whenever the detective boys and him would go camping they wake him up to watch the sunrise so its lights off at 9. heiji doesnt have a sleep schedule he just passes out anywhere

How many cases you do guys get a week? Is it hard to handle them sometimes?

How many cases are we hired to get? I'd say... maybe once every two weeks, once a week on a good day.

But if your asking how many cases do we get in general? That's entirely different. Somehow we manage to stumble into at least three cases a week- usually while doing something normal.

It's good for Mouri, but a guy can only handle so much murder mysteries and locked rooms before it becomes mostly a routine.

Could you imagine if Ran tried confiding in anyone about her suspicions about Conan being Shinichi?

Like. Combining her past suspicions with people asking odd questions about Conan (like Heiji and Sera). Maybe talking to Heiji about it, if only because it would be so funny to watch him struggle to cover for Shinichi. Which would have been funnier before Shinichi ever got to hang around Heiji as himself and not as Conan, because then Ran could have been thinking 'I know those two have become friends after the first few times we ran into each other, I don't want Hattori-kun to get too attached to Conan if he's really Shinichi. I might not know what's going on, but I doubt Shinichi would want to stay a kid if he somehow turned into one, and I at least want to check with another detective about what I've noticed'.

Heiji struggling because he's not good at lying, probably sending a text to Shinichi about it as soon as he can. Silently thinking that she's smart and noticed some really good points (because of course someone who's known him since he was an actual child could notice more) while also trying to go 'wasn't there that time when both Conan and Shinichi were together? Though, if he did turn into a kid, he's really good at acting like a real brat sometimes...'

Conan really is getting a little too bold-faced and reckless with his whole Sleeping Kogoro act.

Literally waxing poetic about the case using Kogoro's voice before he even puts the guy to sleep. Like, c'mon, I know it's old hat at this point, but do you really think no one is going to catch on if you keep pulling stunts like this?!

Do you have any advice for younger detectives, or kids who want to become a great detective like you?

Oh? Of course I do! Before I became a great detective, I was an inspector on the force. I learned many of my great deductive skills there, in fact. Maybe take a visit to your local precinct and watch the masters at work! Of course, you could also read lots of detective books. It seems to work for that group of kids Conan runs around with... Brats.

I think it’s a shame that we don’t get many interactions between these two. That first episode she appeared was so fun and interesting, and when you think about it from Eri’s perspective—her maybe-almost ex husband is suddenly taking care of the worlds strangest six year old, who is maybe more smart than he should be.

She should take custody of Conan for an episode or two, mostly to spite Kogoro. This would have a very unintended consequences—Sleeping Kogoro would mysteriously disappear, while Conan has to work extra hard on his little kiddie facade around the crime scenes that they are obligated to run into. Plus, Ran would certainly have some complicated emotions. She and Kogoro would have to work together to save Conan from whatever trouble he’s obligated to get into (even though he has it perfectly handled), bringing them together until Kogoro makes some kind of silly comment again.

Ok but do you guys think some conspiracy theorist in the detective conan world think that kudo shinichi died and his ghost is now possessing the sleeping kogoro and that is how kogoro solves cases

the theory: kudou shinichi disappeared after going to the amusement park with mouri ran, was killed there by somebody, his ghost attached himself to ran and then possesses her farther to solve cases - that is also why ppl around kogoro like sonoko or sometimes the odd police detective fall unconscious and then solve the case- the ghost of kudo shinichi possesses them

and bc when he is in his adult form shinichi avoids the tabloids people don't know he is alive

if they know of the the phone calls they are all done by the ghost, he is not strong enough for full possession right now, he commandeers the phone

naturally his youngest relative has a close tie to ghost shinichi that is why he gets the most calls from shinichi-nii-chan- some are convinced conan has psychic powers and can even see the ghost of shinichi -that's why the excuse that he talked with shinichi on the phone feels fake sometimes, the ghost directly told him- but to keep seeing ghost shinichi a secret he pretends shinichi calls him

like it all fits together if kudou shinichi is a ghost possessing mouri kogoro to solve cases
