    his eyes tracked the older man for a long moment in a failed attempt to gauge his mood. pete found himself doing that often, trying to anticipate how seth was feeling in an attempt to relate to him in a way he normally didn’t. it was strange for him, to WANT to be near someone and make himself easier to be around. it wasn’t a feeling the bruiserweight was used to.

    “you alrigh’?” his voice is quiet, holding none of its usual edge and venom. there was a sincerity there he wasn’t used to, an edge of worry to the question as his hand lifted to run his fingers through his hair. “i can leave ya alone tonight if ya want. jus’ --- wanted ta see ya.”

                        her cheeks turned a   light rosy tint   as the pale ravenette looked down with a grin on her features. the dynamic between herself, seth, and dean was quite the situation. but the way that seth was so much more…   gentle   with her, tender and loving, as opposed to dean’s more rough and tough attitude; it made her feel some sort of way that she couldn’t quite figure out. the compliment about the dress she’d bought   (   an extremely rare sighting   )   caused a flutter in her chest.   “   you really fink so? i was hopin’ you’d like it…   ”   saraya’s voice was nearly   giddy   at his comment.
