A/n: I just had some writers block and went with a writing prompt 💕☠

Summary: After watching a horror movie with the boys your best friend crawls into your bed for the night because he isn’t ‘’scared’’.0

You laid there in Chan's bed struggling to get to sleep after the movie that you and Felix had decided to put on a horror movie that left you and the rest of the boys shaking with fear. You were staying in Chan's room while he went to share with Felix in their room instead.

"Y/n?" You turned over on the bed to see the door sliding open and Felix standing there with a blanket over his head, he was holding it tightly while staring at you.

"What's up?" He shifted into the room closing the door and rushing over to you,

"You're scared?" You giggled as he got into the bed next to you, ripping the covers away from your body and snuggling against you pulling them back down over you both. It was nothing new, you and Felix would do this sort of thing all of the time - cuddle that is. It never went anywhere else no matter how much you wanted it to. No matter how much you craved for him to kiss you you always stayed as friends.

"Jisung started telling ghost stories, said he saw someone in the hall." You held back a laugh as you heard the words leave his mouth, you had no idea he was scared of things like that.

"It was the movie wasn't it?" You questioned remembering the slasher movie that Felix had suggested in the first place, it was 'Scream' something that seemed like it could really happen making it all the more scarier to Felix.

"No, that's stupid. Why would I be scared of a MOVIE?!" He yelled the last part when thunder clapped outside making him jump and clutch onto your sides as the rain began to hammer down against the glass window scaring him even more.

"It's fine Lix, I'm right here." You whispered as he snuggled his head into the crook of your neck, your breath hitched as you felt him breathing so close to your neck and your pulse began to race.

"You're scared too, I can feel how fast your heart is beating." He whispered but you shook your head swallowing a lump in your throat as you thought about the real reason your heart was thumping.

"It's not the movie," You whispered, he pulled away from your neck as if reading your mind he stared into your eyes. Even in the dimly lit room, he could still make your legs shake with his stare.

"Let me kiss you?"

"W-What?" Your voice broke as you questioned him not thinking you heard him correctly but his hand on the base of your neck made you realise you had.

"Sure." You whispered turning your head to the side, he leant in and connected your lips together. It was slow and awkward at first until you finally relaxed letting go of the tension you were holding back, you melted against his touch and smiled against his lips. This kiss was like something that happened in the movies, it was as if fireworks were exploding all around you, each touch he made to you set your whole body on fire and had you desperate for more. His hand worked its way to rest on your hip drawing your body closer to his own pulling apart for a second for some air, he leant his forehead against yours and began panting heavily.

"Whoa." You whispered looking at him and smiling brightly as you noticed how wide his smile was as well.

"Whoa indeed." He chuckled kissing your lips once more and getting ready to sleep beside you.

Never had Felix packed his suitcase so fast, throwing whatever he pulled out of his drawers first into the open case and then immediately slamming it shut once there was no more room. He didn’t even care, if he had to, he’d just buy whatever he didn’t pack once he got to Australia. You were his top priority right now, he had never been more scared than he was in this moment, the worst possible thoughts clouding his mind as he ran past his roommate to the front door.

“Hey! I thought you didn’t go to Australia until the weekend? Where are you-” His roommate called out after him, but the front door was already open and he was running out, the wheels of his suitcase barely able to keep up with him as he raced down the hall towards the stairs, avoiding the elevator which would, in his mind, take longer.

The sun was beating down on him, the temperature feeling more like summer rather than spring as he ran through campus, trying his best to dodge the people that were coming his way. Sweat was dripping down his forehead and he cursed himself for putting on the sweatshirt before he left the house. Luckily you didn’t live too far and it wouldn’t be long before he saw you.

You still hadn’t texted him back which was worrying, and he hated the fact that his feet wouldn’t carry him any faster than they were right now. He had tried to call you and you didn’t answer him then either. The lack of contact had his heart dropping and his stomach turning. He was coming, he just needed you to wait, just a little longer, he was almost there.

When he turned the corner onto your street he could see two police cars, an ambulance and a firetruck outside your building, the sight causing him to stop dead in his tracks, tears already filling his eyes as he tried to think of all the reasons for them to be there. There were a lot of reasons why they could be out in front of the building, it’s not like you were the only person that lived there, but in the moment, all he could think about was you. Had one of the other guys come over and found you? Had it all truly become too much for you to handle?

He rushed into the building, silently sobbing, his body shaking as he ran up the stairs to get to your floor, his suitcase slamming against each step echoing off the walls of the stairwell. As he got into the hallway, he tried to be optimistic at the lack of police tape or emergency workers, but his thoughts immediately turned dark as he thought about them all already being inside your apartment, and he started running again until he reached your door.

Heavy fists slammed against the wood as he sobbed out your name. “Felix?” Your voice saying his name filled his ears like a song, and as he looked up, he could barely make you out through his blurry, bloodshot eyes. The light coming through the window behind you seemed to radiate like a halo around your body, you looked angelic. “Why are you crying? Did something happen? Are you okay?”

“N-No… I’m fine…” He murmured, taking a deep shaky breath in between a couple sniffles, finally smiling sheepishly after wiping his eyes and actually looking at you. “I texted and I called and… You weren’t responding and… When I got here there were cops and paramedics and… I just got scared.” It wasn’t something that he should be embarrassed to say, yet he felt his entire body heating up from admitting it. It’s not like the other guys wouldn’t be the same way, he was pretty sure Minho or Seungmin would pick the lock or just take off the doorknob entirely, and Changbin, Han, and Jeongin would just break your door down. They all cared about you, it’s just that his way of caring involved crying his eyes out and calling your name.

Your eyes widened and your lips parted into a little ‘o’ as you stared at him. “I was in the shower and… And I got nosy about what was going on… The girl a couple apartments down from me… Her boyfriend got stupid drunk and ended up passing out. I don’t know why she’d call them…” Your head shook as your lips turned down into a frown. “I’m sorry, Felix.”

He didn’t know why you were apologizing, and maybe it was an instinct, or he just felt like he had to do it right then and there, but in one quick movement, his arms were wrapped around you, holding you close against his chest as he buried his face in your shoulder. “Don’t ever apologize for being okay… I’d rather worry and be wrong… Then to be right about what I was thinking.” He whispered, his hand moving up to hold your head, keeping you close to him. “I was so scared…”

It’s not that he had never hugged you before, you had even accidentally slept beside him one night on his couch, showered in his home and worn his clothes… But the way he was hugging you right now, holding onto you as if his life depended on it… It wasn’t what you were used to. “I’m okay… I am. We’ll be in Australia soon and everything will be alright…” You slowly stepped back, giving him a soft smile before letting your eyes drift down to the luggage that was still sitting right outside the door. “What’s that for?”

“I told you I would stay with you…” He grabbed his suitcase and wheeled it into your apartment before closing the door. “Until we left for Australia, and so I’m here… And I’m not leaving… Unless you really want me to. Do you want me to leave?” His hands gripped tightly around the handle of the case and you watched his adams apple bob as he swallowed nervously, his eyes slightly wavering.

“Of course I don’t want you to leave, you came all the way here, and I really like having you here…” You placed your hand on top of his to try to calm him, feeling just how warm his skin was. “Your hand is so warm… Are you getting sick? Do you need medicine?” Your hand quickly moved to his forehead which felt even hotter, but he shook his head quickly, giving you a shy smile.

“No… I’m not… Not sick… It’s just really hot outside and… This hoodie… I shouldn’t have worn it.” He rushed to get his arms out of the sleeves, pulling it up over his head and accidentally flashing his abs in the process, his cheeks turned bright red as he yanked the t-shirt back down, eyes widening and gulping loudly. “You hungry? Wanna get something to eat?” The words hurried past his lips as he tried his best to avoid eye contact with you as he rushed over to your couch. “I’ll order something quick to be delivered… We can watch a movie…”

He was so cute, a literal ray of sunshine, and while you were with him, it was easy to forget about what everyone was saying. It was impossible to not be happy when you were around him. “I’d love that. Thanks Felix…” You chimed, practically skipping over to the couch to drop down beside him, making sure there was enough room between the two of you so he wouldn’t get flustered again. “You can pick the movie tonight too… Anything you want.”

“You passed my property, you owe me like, $100.” Felix said, sitting on his knees on the opposite side of the coffee table, his hand outstretched toward you, palm up, waiting for you to place colorful cash into his hand.

Your lip jutted out as your head tilted to the side. “Can you give me $100 dollars so I can give it back to you?” You asked softly, holding your own hand out beside his own. His eyes narrowed as confusion was written across his face and you sighed softly. “I’m broke so just… give me half of your money and I’ll pay you back when I buy more properties.”

“You’re broke?!” He questioned, finally taking a good look at your side of the table and the lack of money in front of you. “That means the game is over, I won!” He clapped his hands together as he laughed loudly. “Fastest game of Monopoly ever!”

“No! I still have properties and… and…” You lifted up the dice that were in front of you. “It’s still my turn, you have to let me finish my turn.” You shook the dice in your hand, the sound of the little squares clicking together sort of soothing when mixed with the continuous sound of Felixs laughter. “I want to keep playing, stop laughing.”

A soft hum drifted from his lips as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and checked the time. “It’s 2 in the morning…” And as if the sight of the time itself had him growing immediately tired, he yawned loudly, his arms stretching above his head. “We can play again tomorrow, and maybe you’ll actually save your money.” He teased, reaching across the table and ruffling your hair. “Aren’t you tired?”

You shook your head, squeezing your lips into a thin line to suppress the yawn that threatened to leave your mouth. “I’m not tired at all. I could stay up for like… 5 more hours. Mmhm.” You said, although your eyes were getting droopy and you found yourself dozing off if you looked at something for longer than 3 seconds.

“Sure you could, sweetums.” He tsked his tongue, pushing himself up off the floor and walking around to your side. “You’re tired, I’m tired… Let’s get some sleep and then tomorrow we can play even more board games and watch even more movies.” He grabbed your hand and pulled you up off the floor, grabbing your hips when you stumbled forward against his chest, his cheeks turning bright red as he stared at you with wide eyes. “You’re really tired…”

“Mm… nuh uh..” You mumbled, resting your head against his chest as you wrapped your arms around his waist, your eyes instinctively closing. “I just tripped a little bit…” His hand lightly brushed over your hair as his chest shook with his laughter. “What’s funny? Hmm?”

“Nothing… you’re just… cute…” He mused, his heart hammering loudly in his chest, but his voice sounded so calm. “Let’s get to bed, yeah? Don’t want you tripping anymore, you might get hurt.” He maneuvered you to the side, keeping an arm around your waist as he walked you to your bedroom, leading you straight to your bed and snorting when you tipped over onto it, curling up into a ball, your eyes already closed. “You don’t want any blankets? You’re just gonna sleep like that?”

Your lips smacked loudly as one of your arms lazily lifted up and smacked back down against the mattress. “Come… lay…” You grumbled, gripping the blankets and forming a cocoon around yourself with them. “We will be warm… like… like warm people are when they’re warm…”

God, you really were precious, especially now with your sleep induced rambling and the tired smile that tugged at your lips. “I don’t know, sweetums. Seungmin got the crap beat out of him last time he laid beside you.” He joked as he tried to help you move right side up on the bed, making sure your head was on a pillow before pulling the blankets out from underneath you. “I don’t want to wake up with a black eye or anything. I’ll just sleep on the couch.”

You sighed softly, your arms wrapping around the extra pillow and holding it close against you. “Okie dokie… Goodnight Felix… Can you turn off the light on the way out?” You sleepily requested, your hand lifting up slightly to point at the light switch on the wall.

He hummed in agreement, brushing your hair away from your face before leaning in to press a kiss against your forehead, knowing that you were far too out of it to be able to remember it in the morning. “Sleep well, sweetums… I’ll see you in the morning.” He whispered, backing up out of the room, stopping near the light switch and taking a moment to just look at you, admire you, adore you before flicking the switch and closing the door quietly behind him.

It was a given that he liked you, but the way he felt when he was actually with you, it was more than like. He hadn’t even felt this way when he was with Ijun, and while the feeling itself was warm and fuzzy and made his heart flutter, it also scared him. He wasn’t the only person who liked you, that much was obvious, and knowing about the competition only made him even more scared. Falling in love with you was easy, but actually being able to love you… that was the hard part. Now he was counting down the days, the minutes and the seconds until he was with you in Australia. He’d have you all to himself there, an entire week to make sure you fell in love with him and only him.
