Poll at the end, please read entire post
I've been asked recently to create/share posts by several Palestinian bloggers on here, but since I haven't had the time to create a post for each person I thought it would be more efficient to compile a handful of them here.

Tag game! Tag nine people you would like to know better
I have been chosen by @fritzwilhelm
last song: More is Better from the Mean Girls Musical lol. Side note: shame they took it out of the movie. Maybe the guy couldn't sing- which is kinda wild since I would understand if they cast him if he could sing but since he doesn't and he looks...I don't wanna be mean, because he has the looks of someone that I could believe Angourie Rice/Cady falling for but Renee Rapp/Regina is out of the realm of plausibility for me. Maybe if they gave Aaron more than 5 seconds of screen time to prove he's interesting.
favorite color: Purple as like a whole variance of shades, but I do really love lots of colors lol.
currently watching: Shogun. Really requires my full attention because they speak so much Japanese that if I'm not looking at the screen, I have no idea what happens.
sweet, savory, or spicy: Savory. I like sweet in moderation but I can't eat a lot of it. And I love spicy food but it doesn't like me lmao.
relationship status: I'm single and by golly I will keep it that way
last thing i googled: Predecessor. I couldn't remember how to spell it lol.
current obsession: who's got time for obsession these days??? JOKES- what am I, neurotypical? It's the erasable pens I bought the other day. I love me a good colorful assortment of pens. And to be able to erase them?? I'm drunk on power. King Magnifico wishes he had what I do with these pens. (I finally watched Wish. It was okay.)
I tag: @keepthemacramesecret , @little-werewolf-tori , @insaneandlovingit , @walken-on-a-dream , @skysouls , @agentromanoffsir , @juice--girl , @slanda-love , @lukarhys
Have fun! ❤️

Brief Thoughts on Judge Dredd Novels, Part VII: The Hundredfold Problem by John Grant
The Hundredfold Problem is in many respects the odd one out when it comes to Virgin's Dredd novels. It's the only book in the series not to be written by an author who went on to cross over to their Doctor Who line, and the only one to later be republished as a standalone novel with the Dredd/2000 AD elements taken out.
As you might expect, it's a rather strange beast of a book. I certainly didn't actively hate reading it, and it rarely outright bored me; in fact, there's an appealing number of appropriately gonzo ideas crammed into the novel's pages, not least of which is the Big Dunkin Donut, a Dyson sphere populated by transported Neanderthals millions of years ago.
As a certified enjoyer of The Also People, I'm always a sucker for Dyson spheres, and Grant captures the BDD in enough detail that it makes for a suitable first off-world excursion for the novels - and, depending on how Silencer and Wetworks shape up, possibly the only such excursion. The culture of the Skysouls is fascinating, and doesn't really feel derivative of the People at all. The exploration of colonialism is perhaps not as elegant as it could be, but it's basically functional. And, well, as far as nineties explorations of a hypothetical "War in Heaven" go, I suppose I've got to give it points for originality in being the only such piece of media where the solution to said War is to get involved in a lesbian polycule with a deity.
So y'know. It's got that going for it?
But equally, there are numerous little things that don't quite annoy, but definitely make for an odd reading experience. Petula McTavish is a reasonably solid character with a good arc, but the way the novel consistently sexualises her left me feeling more than a little uncomfortable.
The exploration of faith - a perennial nineties theme, this being the decade of "I Want to Believe" - through a heated theological conflict between two rival atheist sects named after Oliver North and Margaret Thatcher of all people is an amusing premise, but the decision to give all the preachers comically thick Southern accents really starts to grate after a while, even if it makes sense for 1994 and the era of Pat Robertson's ascendance.
Similarly, the idea of Heidegger's possession by a force opposed to Korax fades completely into the background for much of the novel, rendering its eventual importance to the climax borderline incoherent until the final chapter just relentlessly infodumps to explain everything with a handful of pages left to go.
So ultimately, thinking about it, we're left with a deeply mixed bag. It's more coherent than something like The Medusa Seed - though coherence never seemed to be Stone's primary goal with that book, or arguably ever - and fleshes out its setting better than Dread Dominion, while its ideas are far more adventurous than anything in Cursed Earth Asylum.
And yet, thinking back on it, the various little annoyances really do start to pile up and colour my perception of the book, so I can't really put this above second-last. There's still a pretty sizeable gap between this and The Savage Amusement, as barring the climax it was generally pretty easy to keep track of the plot's motion from point A to point B, though Grant does have a tendency to elide what would seem to be rather crucial details in the timejumps between chapters.
So yeah, ranking so far looks like this:
Dreddlocked
Deathmasques
The Medusa Seed
Dread Dominion
Cursed Earth Asylum
The Hundredfold Problem
The Savage Amusement

i have to know if you have any Lore for your TFP s/i 👀👀👀 please share if you have anything! also KO and breakdown? such great taste i love that for you 🥺 they're my besties... (kittyandco)
yes I do ^^ My main Transformers S/I is named Overload.
In the Prime universe, Shockwave and I meet a pretty long time before the war, with me initially being an assistant, taking notes during experiments and helping him as needed. Later, I continue my studies in Cybertronian biology and become a partner in science to Shockwave rather instead of an assistant.
We end up courting awhile after I become his partner in science and shortly after that become Conjunx; it's rather straight-forward for us, especially Shockwave. (He is attracted to me and has romantic feelings, therefore, it is only logical for us to court one another and eventually become Conjunx if that attraction develops.)
I am specifically very interested in the fauna of both Cybertron and other planets, leading me to studying Earth as they have a wide variety of fauna. I pick up a nickname for Shockwave here ("Tiger"). Once the war begins, while I would rather stay neutral, I end up following Shockwave and becoming a Decepticon.
During the events of season 3, Shockwave returns to fetch me from Cybertron; I had been out exploring space at the time when Knock Out and the Vehicons found him. He returns with me and as we're fairly private about our relationship, I'm simply his "partner of science" to those who don't know us well. Though it becomes more apparent from our gentle affection that there happens to be chemistry between us (heh).
I'm also friends with the other Decepticons, Knock Out and Breakdown included! ^^ I'm also friends with their partner, Skysoul, who is a Maximal that transformers into a wolf. (Skysoul is an OC from... probably 2011? If I ever get around to adding Knock Out and Breakdown as F/Os she will likely become an S/I. I haven't watched Beast Wars yet so I'm not super familiar with how Maximals work but baby me thought wolves and Transformers were cool so why not combine them?)
Uhhh what else... after the events of the movie, we become reclusive on Cybertron and move into one of Shockwave's secret laboratories. Eventually, after seeing how Knock Out, Breakdown, and Skysoul have been accepted as Autobots, we begin a polite but tense relationship with the Autobots, no longer being Decepticons but neutral instead.
In my own headcanon for the Prime universe, sometimes Conjunx are chosen to raise a Cybertronian as their own, and they will be called to the Well of Allsparks where their new "child" will be created. Usually the child will happen to match their caregivers as well; in our case, we are given Blastoff. I don't have a reference for her yet but she's slightly taller than Shockwave and has some sort of plane alt-mode. Also, she ends up with a pretty strong crush on Smokescreen (and later in a relationship with both him and Soundwave once Soundwave is released/they get to know him better.)
^ that is what I look like in TFP universe; my alt-mode is a locomotive. (Art by CyberneticSlasher on Toyhouse)

2 and 20 for the writing ask meme :D
2. give short descriptions of all the main characters for [WIP].
I listed 3 WIPs, and this question didn't specify, so: *rolls die* You get main characters from the Dark Souls fic under the tag "the fallen knight." Some day it'll get a title, probably five minutes before I post the first piece.
Chantus: Silver knight and loyal follower of Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight. He lives in Anor Londo, City of Gods, at its height. Chantus is nearly the ideal of what a silver knight should be, and a good candidate to replace one of the great four. He is mentor to a junior knight named Alar. He has tan skin and wavy dark hair. Well muscled, he stands nearly 8' in height. With piercing dark eyes, high cheekbones, and an easy smile, he is considered a beauty and a gallant.
Ora: Short-term resident of New Londo. An apparently human woman of mysterious origins, she escapes the Sealing of New Londo and joins the surviving silver knights on their journey home. She is attached to Chantus.
She is tall for a human woman at 5'8", slim and pale-skinned, with long, straight, black hair. Her pointed face and large, unusually dark green eyes make her expressive, even though her face is often sad. She often goes veiled, both to conceal her eyes, and as a tribute to the fashions of lost New Londo.
Alar: Junior silver knight, newly anointed; loyal follower of Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight. She studied under Chantus and considers him a personal friend.
Average in both height and build for a godfolk, she is roughly 7'4". She has ashen blonde hair and pinkish skin. Her eyes are silvery green, and her round face gives her an innocent aspect.
Her prestige and honor grant a different perspective on the events surrounding the lead characters.
20. where do you begin a WIP? ex: a mood, a scene, a certain character dynamic, etc. does this differ per project?
This does indeed differ per project. The above fic came from a mood and a scene, and the rest was woven around that core. Two Halves of a Dead Man came from a scene and a desired character dynamic, which did not appear in the original canon.
The SkySouls project came from some thematic resonance between the two games (Sky and Dark Souls 1), and the fact that my OCs for those games share some interesting traits.
Whatever the seed of a fic is, it's got to make me Feel Things, and intensely enough to keep my interest through the process of writing the fic. That's really the key.
Thanks for the fun questions!
