Commander ask: Kambal, Profiteering Mayor
Tumblr media
Ok, I'll share my first thought because it's funny even if it doesn't actually work out.
Tumblr media
"Oh, Kambal, that's a perfect deck for March of Souls, I love March of Souls but you need something else to make it worth running, but it gives everybody a ton of tokens!" was that first thought. And then I actually thought about it for more than two seconds and realized that when something is dead, it isn't around to do its thing anymore. But it was a learning moment so I included it here anyway. Also march of souls is neat, even if it isn't for this deck.

Assuming the tokens you're aiming for are either creature tokens or trinket tokens, Wand of the Worldsoul and/or Inspiring Statuary is worth a look. If you can convoke with 3 creatures, it beats any other mana rock at that rate. Statuary will do the same thing for the random clues, treasures and food you might get. You can evaluate which you're more likely to see or just play both, given that Statuary will by itself already tap for a mana by improvising any nonartifact.

You should have no trouble feeding Braids, and she's an excellent card draw engine when you do. She draws at least one card every turn, and when she doesn't draw more cards, she thins the board at the same time for free.

People have caught up to Dovehawk so not as cheap as it used to be, but Nesting Dovehawk is still plenty good in any deck with creature tokens, getting you a free token a turn and a very dangerous threat in the air really quickly.
In a similar space, both Rosie and Skyknight Squire will quickly turn all those tokens you're making into a threat or two, though they aren't as well rounded as Dovehawk.

Cornwall's Random Card of the Day #1077: Skyknight Squire
Tumblr media
Skyknight Squire is a rare from Foundations.
Good thing I already talked about Foundations, so I don't need to go on my Foundations rant. I can just talk about this here card. This is a cool concept for a card: gets bigger with time, representing its expertise, and eventually can get his giant heron steed to fly with. Pretty cool. Shame the set has so damn many 1-mana removal spells which kill this dead at common. A bomb that dies to any removal is not much of a bomb at all in this limited. Frankly, it reminds me of the rares of old, where they had drawbacks and situations where they weren't game winning. I actually like that, and wish we could go back to only having a few "guaranteed value monster" bombs per set.
Also it is a cat, for cat synergies.

“…When the hell did you become a Sky Knight????” - Aerrow //knights-of-the-sky
Uh... the previous Skyknight of Xerxes didn't have an heir so I asked if she'd train me. I was 15 or 16 I think?
She said yes and I was her squire until I was 18 when I passed the trials and was knighted. Pretty much immediately after that was the battle that was supposed to end all battles with Cyclonia. Where she and a lot of the older generation of skyknights perished.
