Could I actually draw the vehicles? Yes, I have the practice from drawing Transformers, Knight Rider and Herbie. BUUUUT my Samsung tablet is literally kicking my ass here and refuses to cooperate, I literally can't work on bigger artworks or take too long in a single piece for lack of storage space - that's why I'm opening these slots in the first place, to be able to afford the fix-up of my desktop computer so I can get back to work properly on bigger projects and teach my online classes in peace. Sadly I still wasn't informed how much it'll cost for them to fix it, the tech guy got sick this week (I did too, argh), so he's still going to take a look at my computer, and whatever money I had, I'm spending on food day by day. Right now as I'm typing this post I have only R$20 in my account, which is a bit less than 5 US Dollars 🥲

Since I haven't really worked any Paw Patrol art with lighting and shading for real aside from the one of Ryder and Zuma so far to show as examples, under the cut I'll have some artworks that aren't Paw Patrol related but will serve as reference to see how I work lighting and shading when drawing.

I'm Margo. I have been watching the show Paw Patrol since I was 12, since 2016. In this blog I will be sharing my headcanons on PAW Patrol.

My favourite characters: pups – Skye, Zuma, Chase, Arrby and Liberty; humans – Ryder, Harold Humdinger (main fav character), Carlos and Sid Swashbuckle.

I like human characters more than puppies, so there will be more headcanons with humans.

5. Friday- Catchphrases

Hmmm, how they got their iconic phrases... I don't really think that Ryder gave it or created one to/for all of them, I think each of the pups created their own, but how? 

They're related to the thing they do and they aren't long and they're so original. Some rhyme and some just sound good.

I think that's interesting because all the catchphrases fit them, it has the essence and personality of each character. 

Like If Skye said Marshall's catchphrase she wouldn't feel the same because that's not hers. 

Or if Marshall said Chase's catchphrase it wouldn't be right because they have their own personality, their own line/catchphrase.

Or Rocky obviously wouldn't say Zuma's catchphrase, it doesn't suit him and I don't think he would say it.

I feel that they aren't replaceable that if they created new puppies and gave them the same catchphrase it wouldn't be the same. Because Chase is on the case but you change it to give it to idk Marco? Stefan? and maybe a belgian shepherd or something it wouldn't be the same. They can't replace my boy.

Yeah. This was so general but something is something and it was more of an analysis but meh.

Ryder, do you pick favorites? Because it seems recently like you’ve been picking Chase and Skye way too much recently.

"I don't pick favorites. I choose the pups for the job according to what's needed at the time. Sometimes, more than one pup can do the same job, but other factors could interfere and I always need to take that into account too. It's not easy to figure everything out so fast!"
