When it comes to the Awadhi cuisine, not many will disagree that Chef Sadab Qureshi is a name to reckon with! Hailing from Lucknow - the city of Nawabs, chef leverages his expertise of working with the khansamas and ustaads to bring to you a heritage cuisine, considered a culinary legacy by many. His knowledge of indigenous ingredients, authentic flavors, recipes, and techniques lends him a reputation that is second to none in the F&B industry. A few days ago, he curated 'The Royal Flavors of Awadh Chef's Table' at Seasonal Tastes, The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi. I was lucky to meet him and even taste a variety of decadent Awadhi delights that he had prepared like Bhuna Gosht Hussaini, Gilawat Ke Kebab, Nalli Nihari, Lahsoon Mirch Ka Jheenga, Murgh Makhani, Macchi ka Salaan, and more.
