how much of yourself do you put into your charcaters? Or is it mostly just tropes your interested in?

Depends, sometimes a character is basically my self insert, some time I put in behaviors of other people I know, sometimes really is just tropes. But one piece of myself I put in every single one of my character is craving for freedom, all of them at some point will say they want to go out they want to see the sky, I do that unintentionally but it’s there it’s everywhere :’)
