God.... I could just imagine Mc "escaping" to go do chores with the other maids and skull just like... Picking her up out of nowhere and carrying her someplace else in the house

In her experience, noblemen are usually loud. They stomp around in their big expensive shiny shoes that have never seen sun, making themselves (and their mess) very well known. On top of that, they're normally pretty physically feeble, struggling with even basic lifting because of their life of luxury.

She does not expect Skull's inhuman strength. He sweeps her off her feet and carries her like she would carry a light box of lace. Nor does she expect his ability to move around the house like a wraith, sometimes quieter even than the servants. It's not unusual to hear screams about once a day in Skull's house- it's nothing to worry about, though. It's just the sound of Skull catching Mc off guard when he steals her back from chores.
