I've written a scene where Reader accidentally walks in one of his transformations lol

You were looking for James only to hear him scream in pain in the distance. You go to investigate the source, ready to kick some monster ass, but you come across a horrifying sight...

You see James kneeling on the floor and writhing in pain. "James! Are you okay?" You call out.

"N-No! (Y/N)! Stay away! Save yourself!" James choked out as veins were popping throughout. His body swells with thick muscle as his spine cracks. His clothing tightens as his body increases in muscle and stature.

His cries for help are deepening into animalistic growls. His clothing finally couldn't take it anymore. They were soon reduced to nothing but shreds.

As James started to slip away, his eyes darkened and dilated. His hair lengthens to his shoulders.

As he smiled unnaturally wide, James was no more.

Only Pyramid Head remains...

The brute stood up and tore off whatever was left of James's shirt. He found an old worn-out apron and simply tied it around his waist. On the table nearby, he found some old work gloves and immediately put them on.

Now where was his helmet? Oh there it is! It spontaneously appeared right next to him. He lifts the heavy helmet with his strong arms and places it on his head.

Now all he needs is one more thing, his Great Knife. He punches a hole in the floor and reaches for his trusty blade, slowly pulls it out, and it lands with a loud slam, digging into the floor.

Pyramid Head finally feels complete.

Your heart sank as you saw the man you love slowly and painfully turn into the most feared monster of all Silent Hill. You had no choice but to run.

You ran out of there as fast as you could. You then heard a loud scraping noise in the distance. It seems that he finally saw you. You continued to run. You hid behind a corner. Oh good, you finally lost him... You started to look for a place to hide from him. Along the way, you found a safehouse. You quickly went inside and locked the door.

You let out a sigh of relief and you thought “Finally, I can rest…” until you once again heard the scraping noise of a familiar foe…

RULES

- This is an Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader exchange. This character needs to be one of the main characters, or at least have a very strong presence in the artwork/story. Crossovers are accepted.

- Respect your Giftee's Do Not Want (DNW)

- Do not reveal who your Giftee is before the reveal date (June 4th for artists, August 4th for writers). If you have a question, ask as anon through the Giftee's Tumblr or ask one of the event mods (we will serve as intermediary).

- Do not repost your gift content (especially art!) Mind your giftee’s extra request for AI-scraping protection if there is any. If you can, use the ao3 gift function to link to their profile. FAQ

Can I draw a comic? Yes, a comic panel will be counted as an art piece.

Can I write a multi chapter story? Sure! Feel free to! But your first chapter must be able to pass as a one shot, and be finished by the writing deadline.

I missed the sign up deadline (27th April), can I still join? No, but you can still join during the Drawing Festival! The final event is open to everyone.

I only joined as an artist/writer but also wanted to participate as the other one. Same answer. The sign up closes in order for us to properly match everyone. But don’t hesitate to join and give gifts for the Drawing Festival!

Someone else also have the same writing prompt/art prompt/giftee as me, is this normal? Yes, this is how we balance the number difference between writers and artists. Prompt interpretation varies from person to person!

Can I do several art/fic works? Sure! In the case of art pieces, it will allow the writer to choose from which picture to draw inspiration from, like receiving several prompts, so several art pieces is highly encouraged!

I cannot finish my work in time, what do I do? Contact us ASAP and tell us your estimated delay. If you are an artist, keep in mind that your gifter cannot begin their writing work before your art piece is published.

Nightcord at 25:00's illustrator. Despite wrestling with her belief that she has no artistic talent and being at the receiving end of harsh criticism, Ena persists in creating art. She has a straightforward personality and was initially frustrated with Mafuyu for not expressing her true feelings to her mother. However, noticing the changes in Mafuyu since they first met, Ena has resolved to look after her dear friend.

So the reader is a student that attend night school so could be rarely seen on grounds of the day only rumors and whisper of their appearance as a famous digital artist on the internet is a student in the school

They are very stern and strong willed person, always been seen criticizing their own art for their strive to prove the people that doubt their capabilities like their father. They are not afraid to speak they're mind over someone, many would describe them as pretty blunt.

By far the student they are very close with is Nagi, they would talk to each other in discord Nagi would be playing a game meanwhile ena!reader would be live streaming drawing something.

Originally they were very blunt towards reo since not trusting only taking interest with their friend only because of Nagi talent in soccer but he wished not to grow the talent.

On rare days where the reader would attend school normally, they are known to be able to shut down any confidence with their bluntness.

Reader friend mizuki is also very close with another player at the soccer club name Chigiri, although they admit he has a pretty face for a guy so sometimes they would drag ena!reader to watch a game. During sketching a player accidentally kicks a ball towards the bench and hits the reader knocking them unconscious.

Ena!reader against their own will, would be ask to draw a poster for the school or if something involved drawing they would be immediately dragged towards their disdain even tho they don't want to join in the first place.

Their bluntness and sarcastic remarks make people think they are always in a bad mood, but in reality, no they just struggle to express your emotions properly.

Rin and then reader are similar in terms of bluntness, so people assume they don’t get along, but ena!reader actually respect each other’s talents. Sometimes, would sit in silence with him studying strategies, they sketching.

Many would be terrified of ena!reader blunt ness fearing if they did anything they don't like be prepared to be roasted by them.

Many students are a fan of ena!reader as an artist and an idol being a member of n25. They occasionally vibe towards the song not to mention even the soccer player club enjoy.

✨ 12 things I learned about Inktober ✨

Ok. I know, Inktober is already ended, and you'll be bored reading this post because it's way too long. I totally get it. But I really appreciate it if you read this whole thing. I worked so damn hard to make this thing. And a little disclaimer, this is just based on my personal experience.

Inktober is all about ink, literally. It's a 31-day drawing challenge, where you have to draw with ink for 31 days every October. Besides ink, you can work with other mediums and colors too, apart from black and white. Also, you can make inktober digitally, like some artists do. There are no rules for participating in Inktober, except sharing 31 artworks online.

I've been doing Inktober since 2019. It's my fourth time joining this art challenge, except in 2022. It was quite difficult to start without planning or any knowledge of using ink at all. I wasn't used to drawing with pens until I started to do more studies and sketches using them. It's better to look at more artwork from other artists for inspiration, as well as to get ideas and use them as references. I wouldn't say "copy" it. I'd been experiencing art blocks, burnouts, and stress. But in the end, it really paid off.

It's time to share my 12 things I learned about Inktober:

📝 Make a plan ahead

Make a plan at least a month in advance. This is life-changing, at least for me. I write down all my plans in my notebook, such as goals, preparations, art materials to use, etc. I wish I knew it sooner when I started Inktober four years ago 🥲.

✒️ Practice inking

An ordinary writing pen will do if I don't have any drawing pens or ink to use for practice. It's quite hard using it at first because I can't erase it if I made mistakes. I tried to get used to drawing with pens. Also I started to practice strokes and hatchings, as well as sketching directly on a sketchbook.

🖥️ Gather references from the internet

Google Images and Pinterest are two of the best sites to find references. Some people are encouraging artists to NOT use references, which is WRONG. Do not listen to these dorks. It literally helps to sketch out ideas. You can make your own references, too.

🖼️ Get inspirations from other artist

To get me inspired, I take a look at the best artworks made by incredible artists. I saved them for later and took them as inspiration.

💡 Sketch out ideas and make thumbnails

This is essential! Before doing ink drawings, I first sketch out ideas gathered from references as many as I could. Thumbnail sketching is a great tool too. It's where I plan out my composition before making the final artwork. I can't explain it enough. My brain has reached its limits.. lels..

🧪 Experiment with other mediums

Apart from ink, since I don't have enough ink and pens I could use for Inktober, I tried to play with other mediums, like watercolor, colored pens, poster paints, etc. Just keep experimenting and having fun with them.

⚠️ Take risks

One of my favorite things to do is to push myself to take risks. Don't play safe. I tried to step out of my comfort zone and draw something that I hadn't drawn before or use mediums that I hadn't used before.

One example here is ink washes on my sketchbook, which is supposed for dry media only because the paper is thin. I took my risk to do ink washes. I put a lot of water in it and layered it up multiple times. It turned out great. I was expecting that the paper would be ripped off, but it didn't, "almost".

🖌️ Let it go from mistakes. These are "happy little accidents"

Does this quote above ring a bell? If you know, you know. Every time I do art, I don't expect "perfection". Almost of my artworks are filled with imperfections. If I make mistakes with my artwork, I'll just leave it there. I'd set my expections down all the way to the void. Who needs to make art "perfect"? Mistakes aren't as bad as they sound.

🛌 Take breaks if I need to (LITERALLY I NEED IT!!)

While doing inktober, I'd been encountering burnouts, art blocks, and stress. I'd been doing these "repetitive" tasks everyday. When I feel grumpy, I take a break for an hour or more. Sometimes, I take a nap, or do things other than art. And then I proceed to do it right after breaks.

💯 Ignore algorithms and engagements

I have high hopes that my artworks will get noticed. Always. This is the most challenging one if you're trying to grow your social media accounts, especially if you have a small number of followers (less than 1,000). Since algorithms are changing anytime, especially on Instagram, chances are not getting more reach. I found this way more annoying; no matter how hard I tried to get more attention in my art, it always ended up reaching fewer people.

I'd been uploading my inktober drawing process videos for 31 consecutive days on Instagram and TikTok. They said, post more reels to reach more accounts than just posting a photo or carousels, as well as using "trending" audios. I'd been filming the process, editing, and uploading it to my social media every day for 31 days. 31. FREAKIN'. DAYS. And it's always never been easy. Ever! THIS IS BULLSHIT! INDEED!

On the bright side, despite my issues on growth, someone is still barely seeing and interacting with my art, which I'm really grateful for. Somehow, I've been getting some likes, comments, shares and follows. I guess that's how social media works. It only sees specific people, and that's okay. It would take ages to grow my accounts.

👩‍🎨 Interact with other artists

There are so many incredible artists everywhere on social media. So, I tried my best to interact with other artists -- just give a like to their art, comment (I'm getting used to it), share and follow.

The importantest shit of all is to have fun. Inktober is an art challenge, not a contest. This is why you shouldn't take this seriously. Forget all the doubts in our minds. Just to have fun. That's it. Finished your Inktober? Don't forget to treat yourself.
