Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Episode Four Analysis

Morning everyone, I have to admit Episode Four is when things to really get interesting. For starters, my favorite Skesis the Ornamentalist, has finally made her appearance, and boy did her voice actress did not disappoint. Moving on, it’s clear during the feast sene that the Emperor is getting tired of the Chamberlains bs, and decides to demote him. This is when he points out to the other Skesis that they only need to take the necessary amount of Essence to survive, and let his propaganda continue spreading. He may be a manipulative scumbag, but at least he’s not an idiot. It’s easy to see the Emperor becoming impatient with the essence supply. I mean the least he could do is listen to the Scientist, since SkekTech is the only one to see that using the Crystal too much is bad. Things begin to become hectic when the Chamberlain summons the Hunter to to capture Rian. I got chills when I saw the Hunter, who is an absolute savage to the point where the other Skesis are afraid of him. Now onto the biggest highlight, where Tavra, Naia, and the black haired Gelfling (I forget his name) now knows the truth about what happened to Mira during the dream fasting session. And that Brea realizes that the class system is a lie and she gets her own pet rock monsters. We also meet the Archer, who is the mystic counterpart to the Hunter, who tells Augra the song of a Thra is still there, and that the other Mystics are in hiding for their own safety, since the Skesis would place them in a maximum security prison. The thing that really got me in the feels is that Rian watched his father die, this is after when he discovered the truth during the dream fast.
