me after watching nosferatu:

I’m about to sound pretentious as fuck beneath the cut

Robert Eggers does a wonderful job yet again and I’m opening my horizons to that of horror, and Nosferatu was just too good. i was pleasantly surprised to see he collaborated with Jaron Blaschke again and implemented the most stunning symmetry in this film too…….everything from the film’s dark blue hue to seamless transitions between scenes was genuinely spellbinding

#I have a lot to say #skarsgard was completely unrecognizable in the most pleasant way #lily rose depp was brilliant in this too #I haven’t watched many of her films but I sat there thoroughly entertained #her prose is just perfect and so is her physical acting ability #WILLEM DAFOE….you are a master and he blends right into every character he plays imo #Simon McBurney is so fucking talented. felt so disgusted by his character and it was just amazing #the bird scene got me tho #Nicholas however…#enough about that
