I mentioned in this post that I wanted more information on Reki's old skating friend, but now I know exactly how I want it to go down.

Season 2. Reki and Langa are on a date hanging out at a mall, park, whatever and run into him (let's call him Makoto). Reki and Makoto reconnect and Langa gets huffy and pulls Reki away and we get this scene with Makoto staring at them blankly before smugly grinning which sets of red flags and alarm bells in the heads of fans everywhere.

The next week is filled with fanart about Yandere!Makoto kidnapping Reki and Langa rescuing him and fanfiction where he's Adam 2.0 and reveals he was faking his disability and skates against Langa to hurt him.

Then the next episode airs and it turns out he's a Renga shipper and plots an entire plan to get the two together. He finds out what Adam did in Season 1 and it takes the entire Sk8 Crew (minus Kaoru, that dude's cheering him on) to hold him down from killing the man.

Instantly dude goes from Fandom Enemy #2 to Fandom Darling. Everyone who watched the episode late is confused by the switch-up and there's memes of fans apologizing to him everywhere.
