i’m loving this near universal outpouring of love and praise for starkid here on tumblr. i feel like when black friday came out it was a bit polarising and not everyone loved it, so the hype died down quite quickly, and then because of covid it’s been 4 years since they dropped a musical on yt, but i’m so glad that everyone even beyond the staunch hatchetfield fans are loving and appreciating npmd. makes me so happy that this slightly niche theatre company will always have a cult following on here

Note
Since it's Valentine's would the SK boys be opposed to some flowers maybe to brighten up the library or their apartment
They will always accept flowers! Since they can be given as displays of platonic affection, as well.
They've both received flowers from kids, too.

Meaning and symbolism
In various cultures, field mustard has taken on different symbolic meanings. In East Asian cultures, for example, it is often associated with fortune and prosperity. In European traditions, the hardy field mustard is a symbol of strength and adaptability, qualities admired by many societies. These cultural representations highlight the flower's widespread significance and the universal themes it embodies. flowers like these often represent trust and dignity, making them a thoughtful choice for moments that call for deep respect. The flower is therefore also often associated with prosperity and wealth.

The mustard and materialism.
Mustard flower has some negative associations, too, and it’s not because of its gray-brown overlay. Because of its resemblance to gold, the color mustard is sometimes associated with materialism. This meaning also led to connotations of arrogance and the mismanagement of wealth.
Is jealousy green, or is it mustard yellow?
The color mustard symbolizes jealousy in France and Germany. In France in the 10th century, it was a common practice to paint the doors of traitors and criminals mustard yellow. This longstanding association migrated to Germany as well, bringing with it the added meanings of weakness, cowardice, and contradiction.

Flower language
In flower language the mustard flower represents two lines
"I am better" and "I am hurt."

LOL OH, HE SO WOULD...... Jade Leech, you are a creature and a specimen and a strange guy. I want to study you under a microscope. Do you think he'd gather blood/skin samples of the other NRC students to see which one the cordyceps would prefer more? orz I also found this video (warning for bones) and it made me think of sk!Jade. ^^;;; he is always up to some experiment that makes you question whether it's truly ethical or morally right. Knowing Jade and how sly he is, it's just within those parameters. ;;;;;

First pic: Finally got brave enough to do some full colored sketches of Past Resh'an and Aephorul. Not sure how set in stone I am with these, but getting there.
Second pic: Concepts for the next comic I wanna make whenever I don't feel lethargic and exhausted from being Fucking Sick. It involves Specter Grim Reaper Man taking Resh'an on a field trip, a lot of souls, and Resh'an's cell phone.

(Don't know who i should put here specifically so heres both :P)
Have you ever been amazed by the stunning beauty of morning glory flowers and curious about morning glory flower meaning? You're going to learn a lot about these beautiful flowers today, so you're in luck. Get ready for the History beginnings, symbolic meanings, and beautiful types of morning glory flowers. Let's figure out what these beautiful flowers are trying to say with each leaf!
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
History
Morning glories were greatly respected by the ancient Mayans, Aztecs and Native American tribes of Mexico for the spiritual properties they were believed to possess. The seeds were used for vision quests and to communicate with the dead because of their psychoactive properties.
The Aztecs believed that plants had spirits and certain plants, like peyote, salviaand morning glory, had special spirits. Similarly, the Chental and Mazatec Indian tribes believed that a highly evolved spirit lived in morning glories.

Morning glory as a symbol of human resilience and mortality
Morning glory is a somewhat tragic flower, blooming and “dying” all in one day. It grows and thrives in harsh conditions, and always rises again in the morning.
For these reasons, morning glory has become a pretty poetic symbol of human resilience and the fleeting nature of this life.
The different states of the morning glory flower are also said to represent the various stages of human life. In morning bud they represent youth, in full bloom at daytime they represent adulthood and as they wilt in the evenings, they represent the later stages of life. Sometimes, they even represent an unyielding love that can overcome all challenges, and at other times they’ve been known to symbolise unrequited love.
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Morning glory meanings by colour
As with all flowers, morning glories can have different symbolic meanings depending on their colour.
White morning glories are symbols of purity and innocence, as is the case with many white blooms.
Pink morning glories symbolise love and gratitude, while red morning glories symbolise deep and passionate love.
Like many purple flowers, purple morning glory symbolises royalty, while blue morning glory symbolises honesty, respect and trust.
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Meaning and Symbolism
The symbolic meaning of the morning glory holds great significance in various cultures, representing different aspects such as love, purity, mourning, spirituality, fleeting mortality. In some Asian cultures, it is associated with the idea of rebirth and resurrection due to its ability to bloom anew each morning.
Morning glories in Japanese (Asagao – 朝顔) is a symbol of new beginnings and the start of a new day. They are often associated with a renewed sense of hope and a fresh start.

And there you have it, i think thats everything i can provide.
This one isn't necessarily associated with akechi or nendou's dad (i forgot his name) since they share the same birth-day, i feel like this one fits nendou's dad more but there's also some aspects that is similar to touma but then again they share the same month and day so it should make sense why.
Who do you think it fits more?

What do you think of Yoh as a character?
He's not my favorite character in the series, but I do like him. For one, he's quite wise for his age, even though I do think he's indeed a little naive about people at times, and that the story gets a bit unrealistic at times to prove Yoh right. For example, take Hao. For a thousand years, he was fully prepared to commit a global genocide against humanity and Yoh is like, "yeah I can reach my bro's heart and convince him to stop." Like, I do find that a bit unrealistic. With characters like Ren, who are still children who can grow up to be better people then they are now, it makes sense Yoh could talk some wisdom into him. But someone who's a 1000 years old and has been comitted to his plan for so long? Even if Yoh is like a kind mirror of who Hao was a young boy himself all those years ago, it's scenes like that were I do think the story is chosing for comfort and the happy ending route which allowed the sequel to be set up, rather then showing the darkness of reality and chosing for the Hao destroys the world route and upsetting the fans by showing that sometimes people don't want to be saved and just want to watch the world burn. So in that regard, I feel like Yoh kind of damages the story with his kindness, yet at the same time he saved so many characters that were good people or had the potential to be so- they had just lost their way. As a protagonist, he definitely has his pros and cons. I do very much ship him and Anna though, like Osorezan is iconic. Did he fell in love with her a little too quickly? Yes, but then again, they were like 10. I do feel like his and Anna's absence and pushing Hana onto Ryu and Tamao is why Hana's such a little dick with daddy issues though (I don't know who I find worse, Hana or Alumi). Being on the spectrum, I do actually think fondly of Yoh's love for Soul Bob and his headphone aesthetic. I love music and often distract myself with it outside to avoid being sensory overloaded. I usually wear earbuds but I do have a small collection of headphones in cute styles, so yeah. We don't have the same music taste, but I do feel like we could chill and have a conversation about it. Perhaps even finding an oddity that we both enjoy. I do think I would want him as a friend if I were a Shaman King character because he does make for a nice, reliable friend.
