maestro also told a cello to remove his baseball cap so he could see his eyes better but communicated this as "take your hat off, it's too hot in here for hats. your hair is so beautiful -- look at that -- i am jealous, i wish i had that hair, i need a hat" while caressing his own hairless head

#sasha speaks #oboeposting #anyway maestro is calling for an extra rehearsal because we are just not ready for the concert yet. siiiighh #he says either sunday or we extend tuesday to be extra long. but thats tough because we don't have the room reserved #and would have to compete with pep band or drama for space...#but sunday. idk man. i cant make it. my peincipal cant make it. thats both oboes out #the first horn has a gig. pretty sure there are other winds with conflicts too #sjnday rehearsal would just have so many holes in it as to be kind of pointless i feel #unless it's made another a string sectional. they're the ones who need the most work anyway #anyway i told maestro and the manager about the wind conflicts on sunday and he said thanks for letting him know #so i think they're really going to push for tuesday. but if there's no room available then they'll have to make their peace with #sunday with huge gaps in the winds
