I finished it up during a ride and if it wasn't because of my family in there, I might bawl my eyes out 😭 This book is creepy and atmospheric but not that scary. The real scary part of this book for me is about childhood trauma, dark pasts, sinister secrets, and toxic parents. All of them mixing with supernatural elements are just perfect! This book has depth!!! 🙌 Thank you so much to @hearourvoicestours & @simonteen for giving me this ARC in exchange for an honest review and having me on this tour ❤️ -Fasya- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - #HearOurVoices #HOV #DeliciousMonsters #BookRecs #BookReviews #ReadWithMe #NewBookAlert #NewRelease #YAhorror #HorrorBooks #sistahscifi #LiselleSambury (at Sistah Scifi) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpQU4xbP5MT/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

REVIEW
I'm not familiar with Phantom of the Opera but I quite enjoy this novella. This book has an insta-love trope, if you like it I bet you'd love this one! This book is more focused on the characters and their feelings toward each other. I wish the book a little bit longer, so we can dive deeper into the mystery of the tower and the surrounding. But the steam makes up for everything 🔥 Thank you to the author @aford21 and @mlc_tours for giving me a copy in exchange for a review. -Fasya-

Surrender (The Titans of Founder's Ridge #3) Author: Nichole Greene Genre: NA Romance Release date: 9 March 2021 #SisterShelvesReviews ⭐⭐⭐/5
One unexpected kiss. One passionate night. One favor.
SYNOPSIS
Griff I might lose my closest friends for a salacious love, the ultimate forbidden fruit. I push her away, she pulls me back. She pushes me away, I pull her back. Claire Volkov, my best friend's little sister is so off limits. She doesn't particularly care about rules though, and now I'm not sure I do either.
Claire I came to Griffin Potter with a secret. Deadly smart and incredibly ruthless, I knew he was the only person I could trust. Now we're both fighting the connection between us, afraid of casualties that could be left in our wake. The truth of the matter is that there's no future for us and it's up to me to remember that.
REVIEW
I come for the spice and I stay for the spice 🌶🌶🌶 Well, I just love forbidden romance, don't we all? Especially when it comes to older brother's best friend x little sister is off-limit kinda trope. At first, I'm not sure if I'll like it since Griff has a thing that Christian Gray likes, which is not my liking. Oh, you know what I mean. But nothing extremely off-charts happen in this book, no worries. The amount of steam is just perfect ehe! Claire has MS (multiple sclerosis) and feels like she'd be a burden to Griff, but man knows what he wants. And what he wants he gets. He's a total sweet, well kinda stalkerish a little bit, but I don't mind and since Claire doesn't mind it either and she knows about it so again 😏👍 A good romance book that helps me get out of my reading slump. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Thank you to the author @nicholegreene.author and @literaryboundtours for giving me a copy in exchange for a review. -Fasya-

Can two IRL enemies find their happily ever after online?
SYNOPSIS
Stella Greene and Wesley Clarke are Gene Connolly Memorial High School's biggest rivals. While the two have been battling it out for top student, it's a race to the bottom when it comes to snide comments and pulling the dirtiest prank. For years, Stella and Wes have been the villain in each other's story, and now it's all-out war. And there is no bigger battle than the one for valedictorian, and more specifically, the coveted valedictorian scholarship. But Stella and Wes have more in common than they think. Both are huge fans of Warship Seven, a popular sci-fi TV drama with a dedicated online following, and the two start chatting under aliases—without a clue that their rival is just beyond the screen. They realize that they're both attending SciCon this year, so they plan to dress in their best cosplay and finally meet IRL. While tensions at school are rising and SciCon inches closer and closer, the enemy lines between Stella and Wes blur when a class project shows them they might understand one another better than anyone else—and not just in cosplay.
REVIEW
THIS IS SUPER ADORABLE!!! This is super nerdy and brings back a lot of memories with all the fanfiction writings, fan videos, and cosplaying. I'm a sucker for the enemies-to-lovers trope but YA contemporary romance isn't really my thing. I was nervous to start but this book is so cute and I like it a lot, like A LOT! I can't put it down. The characters are likeable and I love their snarky banter and the pranks they pulled to each other. I laughed a lot reading this. The development between them being enemies and slowly change into something is well written. They both also have personal family problems and hence why both of them are being so competitive from the start. Thank you to the author @meredithltate24 @penguinteen and @mtmctours for an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

Shadow of Twilight (Fated Darkness #1) Author: Heather Smith Genre: Paranormal Romance Release date: 16 February 2021
#SisterShelvesReviews ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
SYNOPSIS
From the moment Amelia’s mother was brutally murdered, her father made sure she knew to never reveal the secrets of her lineage and the powers that it possessed. But no one warned her of what would be unleashed when she met her fated mate. When she shakes Alpha Gabriel’s hand, Amelia knew right away that he was her mate, and dread quickly set in. Once they completed their bond, Amelia begins to receive dreams, warning her of an attack. An old enemy is lurking in the shadows, watching as she matures into the wolf she is destined to be, but can she figure out who he is and how he’s connected to her past, or will she be too late to save her pack, her family, and her mate? The nightmares are only the beginning as a new wave of powers overwhelm her. It’s a battle of wills, hearts, and minds, with their lives on the line, and Amelia must decide what she’s willing to give up. REVIEW
I honestly despised insta-love but don't know why I do love fated mate bond. A lot. 💜 Gabriel definitely likes manhandling things, and totally possessive over his new mate, Amelia. You know, he just radiates typical alpha werewolf. Amelia is such a badass she-wolf and takes no bull from Gabriel. At first I'm only here for the romance but there is a mystery with Amelia and her bloodline, and a reason why there are unusual things going on. And you know I love mysteries so I really enjoyed the 1/3 of the book with all the actions 💥 The book ends with a cliffhanger so I really need the sequel, like right now!!! Thank you to the author @heathersmithauthor and @readthebooktours for giving me a copy in exchange for a review. -Fasya-

Ares (Contemporary Mythos #3) Author: Carly Spade Genre: Paranormal Romance Release date: 29 March 2021
#SisterShelvesReviews ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
“Are you mine, Amazon?” “Yes.” “Are you mine, Ares?” “I'd start a war for you.”
SYNOPSIS
MMA fighter Harmony “Harm” Makos steps into the ring every day for more than the fame and glory of the fight. For her, it’s the alternative to therapy. An opportunity to tame the constant beast struggling to break free. Hardened by a broken home and high school ridicule, she’s learned to control the fury but it always lurks beneath the surface. When a threat on her life arrives in the form of an ominous letter, a bodyguard is assigned to follow her every move. Harm is immediately against the idea, and the animosity rises when said bodyguard is none other than former MMA men’s heavyweight champion, Mars. Between their heads butting at every turn, forced proximity, and constant banter, Harm will discover Mars isn’t all that he seems. Around him, visions of battle, chaos, and destruction plague her thoughts. The red glint in his eyes holds more than mystery--it bears the unknown cure for both their fury…if they can learn to work together, that is.
REVIEW
Bodyguard trope. I mean come on I know you like that trope. Not that Harm needs a bodyguard since she's an MMA bantamweight champion. She's a real badass that's for sure. I like that the author makes Harm an MMA fighter. It's different and in my opinion, it gives a character with a body type representation that I've never find in any other books before. Mars/Ares has anger issues, well actually both have that issues but they never throw that to one another. Besides they find I don't know, I guess peace in each other. With that, you'll think that Ares will be an alphahole kind of type but he's actually pretty sweet. I do really like Ares. Maybe because the whole God of War thing 😂 I'm looking forward to Eros book! 😏 Thank you to the author @carlyspade and @literaryboundtours for giving me a copy in exchange for a review. -Fasya-
