He stands up straight for a moment, wide brown eyes meeting hers. “Not that you have too, but--I could show you around or something. Not that Hawkins has a lot to show.”

          Sam had flopped on the couch, falling asleep almost the moment his head hit the decorative pillow. He’d needed a break from...from everything really. Kai’s interest in him had been exhilarating at first, filling him with confidence he’d long ago thought he’d lost. But it hadn’t lasted. These things never did, and now Sam feared he was too deep in it to leave...so for now a nap was the next best thing. Alas, that couldn’t last either as he was stirred back into the waking world but the feeling of someone sitting down by his feet. Still bleary-eyed, he lifted his head to see Winter, Kai’s ever loyal sister. “Hmmm...” he begin, waking himself up a little more. “You needed a break too?”

Winter leans into his touch, her head nodding in agreement, her hand squeezing his. "I suppose that is true...loneliness causes even the strongest to crumble." she pauses, offering a thoughtful hum, "he was the one who drilled into his victims skulls right?" eyes shift back to Kai as she offers a soft chuckle, "That's pretty wicked if you ask me."

“I don’t think I’ve ever felt that. Alone. Whenever I was by myself, there was still always something to focus on. To accomplish.” A short pause will preface the squeeze of her hand, studying the little twitches and mannerisms of Dahmer giving his interview. And in response to her? A wildly amused, flirtatious expression, dressing feline features as his gaze finally lifts up to her. “It is. And that’s exactly what he did.. Fucking drilled holes.. Poured acid into them.” With a little more pizzazz, enthusiasm cracks his low, baritone timbre. “Was convinced it would turn them into zombies, and that they’d stay with him forever.” With his free hand miming a gun, he’ll lift fingertips to her temple. “Just like that.”

               Good evening, boys and ghouls! Halloween is already upon us and I feel like I barely got my fill of horror movies, pumpkin carving, and all of the tricks and treats that come with this holiday before it went by in a flash. I think it’s the perfect time to throw up a Halloween follow forever on my spookiest blog yet. It was around this time last year that I decided to begin to write Lydia and it was one of the greatest rp decisions that I made. I have met some amazing writers through writing her and it’s always so wonderful to see how people fangirl about Beetlejuice and that always turns up my muse for Lydia.
