The Styles SmackDown Surprise {AJ Styles x Little Sister!Reader}

Anon Request: AJ is the readers big brother and she wants to go to SmackDown from NXT but her brother isn’t happy about because he’s worried she’ll get hurt. That is until she saves him and shows him that she isn’t a little girl anymore.

You stood outside the doorway to your brother’s dressing room. You were trying to strike up the nerve to talk to him. It had been a rough couple of days between you two. Why?

Two Days Earlier:

“AJ I’m 25 years old and I’ve been in NXT since I was 20! Vince thinks that I would be a great addition to SmackDown!” You said to your brother-or rather your brothers back. All you saw was his black vest and his long silky brown hair. He was staring at the wall his hands on his hips.

“Vince can think what he wants but when it comes to your safety that’s my decision!” AJ said spinning around his blue eyes afire with frustration and concern. But you didn’t see that. All you saw was that your brother was being too damn overprotective.

“I’m 25 AJ! I think I can take care of myself. We’re in the 21st century now. Women don’t need a mans permission anymore. I’m just trying to understand why you won’t let me go to that next level!” You said in disbelief.

“Because you’re not ready for that next level!” AJ said banging his fist against the locker making it give a loud shudder that made you wince.

“That may be true but when it comes to me and my family I don’t care what damn century we’re in!” He said. Just then he sighed and looked at you with a softened gaze. “I say this because I love you (Y/N).” He said looking at. All he wanted was to make you understand that he didn’t want you to get hurt. “I’ve seen what this career does to people. Heck it’s almost done it to me!” He said. “People are injured every day. I live with pains caused from matches from years ago every day. I don’t want you living like that!” He said.

“I’m already living like that AJ! If you haven’t forgotten I’ve been in NXT for the past five years. I know what it can do to you!” You said. AJ shook his head. “No darling that’s not what I’m saying. Yes NXT is wrestling but it’s completely different from SmackDown or RAW! You’re gonna have to take bigger hits, larger leaps and dives and do much more advanced things. I just don’t think you’re ready.” He said.

You scoffed in disgust. “How would you know?” You spat. “You’ve never even been to one of my matches!” The venom in your tone was clear.

AJ sighed. “Trust me. I’m–.”

“Doing what’s best for me I’ve heard it all before. Well I’m leaving. I can’t even look at you right now I’m so furious.”

And with that you grabbed your jacket and left the locker room, slamming the door with a bang.

That had been two days ago. You had spoken to Vince and had made a deal with him. Tonight AJ was going up against Shinsuke Nakamura. He was going to be accompanied by Asuka. You were going to accompany your brother to the ring.

“What you do is entirely up to you.” Vince had told you.

That had been this morning.

It was now close to 10:30. You were in your new ring gear that you had gotten for your appearance on SmackDown.

And you were outside your brothers locker room.

Approaching the door you knocked.

“Come in.”

You entered to see your brother sitting on the bench, dressed in his full ring gear holding his championship belt. He looked up to see you. “Hey.” He said.

You gave a small smile. “Didn’t you tell me that hey was for horses?” You said bringing up a fond memory between you both from your childhood.

AJ cracked a smile. “I did didn’t I?” He said. He then sighed. “Look (Y/N), what I said before–.”

“I know why you did it AJ.” You said. “I would do the same if I were in your position most likely. I understand that I’m your little sister. I’ll always be your little sister but you need to remember that I’m not little anymore.” You said softly.

He nodded. “I know.” He said standing up. “And I’m sorry for being so overprotective. But after tonight you’ll see what I mean and you’ll see why I don’t want you wrestling on SmackDown or RAW.” He said.

Or so you think, you thought to yourself.

“Can you forgive me for yelling at you?” He asked. You sighed and rolled your eyes up to make it look like you were thinking. “I mean you are my big brother and I still love you so I guess so.” You said.

AJ laughed and he opened his arms wide. “Get in here you bug.” He said.

You laughed and went to him giving him a hug. He squeezed you, kissing the top of your head. “God I love you (Y/N).” He said. “Your my sister and I’ll always be protective of you no matter what. It’s hardwired into my brain and my DNA.” He said to you.

You snuggled into him. “I know. And it’s my job as a little sister to always annoy you-well maybe when we were little at least.” You said.

He laughed “Maybe when we were little yeah.” He said. He then pulled away. “Oh before I forget!” He said. He turned towards his locker. “I have a little something for you. Since your a Styles you gotta have this when we enter.” He said.

He turned and you saw him holding a hooded vest that was an exact match to his except it was your size. Your jaw dropped. “For real?” You said. He laughed and nodded. “For real.”

You pounced on him, flinging your arms around his neck giving him a hug. “Thanks AJ!”

“Anytime (Y/N).” He said returning the hug wrapping his arms around your waist and giving a small squeeze.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and a head popped in. It was one of the attendants. “Asuka and Shinsuke are about to enter. Get to the stage please.” He said before he was gone.

AJ let out a big sigh. “Ready?” He asked. You quickly put your vest on and gave him a “how do I look?” pose

He smiled. “Oh yeah-you’re ready!”

With an arm around your shoulder and the other holding his belt on his shoulder you two walked out the locker room and to the black curtain that seperated the WWE Universe from the calm and serene backstage area. You could hear the crowd cheering as Shinsuke and Asuka made their displays in the ring.

Letting go of you AJ put his champion belt on his waist and together you put your hoods on.

“Ready.” You said.

AJ gave a nod to the sound guy and he turned on your brothers music.

You heard the familiar tamborine sound as the lights went from red to blue and the crowd let out a thunderous cheer.

Together you both ran out to the stage before you both crouched down and rumbled.

BAM!

“No they don’t want none! No they don’t want none…”

Both you and AJ popped up in perfect sync throwing your hoods off and throwing your arms up and the crowd went crazy.

“Ladies and gentleman please welcome, accompanied to the ring by his sister (Y/N) Styles from NXT, the WWE Champion, the Phenomenal AJ Styles!” The announcer screamed.

You cheered your brother’s name and walked behind him as he walked down the ramp. You heard a few shouts of your name and smiled but tried to not take the attention away from your brother. That would come after.

You eyed Asuka as you and your brother went to the ring. You staying on the floor while AJ went to the ring. He got on top of the turnbuckles holding up his belt before he handed it to you. “Keep it safe.” He said before winking. You nodded. A ref came over and took it to the bell before the bell rung so that it was safe. A ref always had to hold onto the belt during an official match.

The match started as soon as the bell went off. For the first half of the match Shinsuke was beating on AJ hard making him look weak. You cheered AJ on from the sidelines making sure Asuka and Shinsuke didn’t try anything funny but making sure not to interfere. Then the second half of the time AJ was full power. He pinned Shinsuke down for the three count and you cheered as he did.

But you could tell as could the audience that he was tired. The match had lasted a good ten minuets. The bell rung ending the match officially and the ref held up AJ’s hand and gave him his belt back. You cheered him exuberantly.

THEN BAM

Out of nowhere Shinsuke came and delivered a Enzuigiri to AJ which sent your brother down to the mat. That’s when Asuka pounced on him as well.

You roared in anger as you slid into the ring. Asuka saw and came at you with a clothesline. You ducked running to the other side of the ring and saw out of the corner of your eyes she was coming at you again. You gave her an elbow to the face causing her to stop short. Then you hopped onto the second rope and delivered your brothers signature move the Styllin’ DDT. As you hopped onto the second rope you did a backflip grabbing Asuka by her upper torso in midair before landing and pulling her harshly to the ground. She hit the mat hard and rolled out of the ring stunned. The crowd went crazy and AJ, who was being cornered by Shinsuke gazed in disbelief at your agility.

As you watched Asuka roll out of the ring from your crouched position you stood up and rippled off your vest that your brother had given you. You had forgotten to take it off in the heat of the moment. You threw it towards the announcers table nearly hitting Byron Saxton in the face.

“Oh she’s angry now.” Corey Graves said.

“She was angry when she delivered that Styllin’ DDT to Asuka. She’s pissed now!” Mauro Ranallo said.

You whipped your head around, your silky brown long hair flying out like a circle as you turned your attention to Shinsuke who was now taunting your exhausted brother. “HEY SHINSUKE!” You screamed.

“Damn that girls got a voice.” Byron said.

Shinsuke ignored you still beating on your brother. You strode towards him and grabbing his shoulder pulled him back and punched him clean in the face.

He reeled back falling on the ropes to the right of your brother. You then gave him a side kick that sent him down towards the other side of the ring. You were now in-between Sinsuke and your brother in a fighting stance. You were sending a clear sign to all.

NOBODY ATTACKS MY BROTHER

“You’ve done it now Shinsuke. You’ve pissed off (Y/N) Styles and now you’re gonna get it!” Corey said excitedly.

Shinsuke holding his hand to his nose snarled at you and you lifted your hands up twitching your fingers as if saying “come on!”

Shinsuke came at you. You quickly ducked before running to the other side of the ring and delivering a flying clothesline to the Japanese wrestler. Her hit the ground hard but got up within a few seconds. He snarled at you. “I don’t hit girls.” He said. You laughed. “Too bad.” You said. You quickly ran at him but he caught you with an arm hook. You quickly repositioned to go into hooking arm drag which you did flawlessly. The crowd cheered as Shinsuke rolled onto his upper back and landed in the ring.

You screamed for a microphone and someone threw one to you.

Shinsuke was dragging himself to the ropes and you stalked him like a predator. “That’s what you get you snake!” You said letting your Southern accent thicken a tad to show your anger. “You don’t dare come after my brother like that! Because guess what?” You said bending down. “I’ll be there waiting to rip you to shreds.” You gazed into the mans eyes. Suddenly you felt a sharp pain.

The bastard had slapped you.

You went stumbling back as Shinsuke got up. He gave you his famous hip thrust action and that sent your blood boiling. You ran in making it look like you were going in for a clothesline but at the last minuet you gave the man a taste of his own medicine. You jumped up delivering a fierce jumping Enziguri that sent Shinsuke to the mat and rolling towards the edge of the ring. You then backed up to the other side of the ring and ran going into a baseball slide dropkick and sent Shinsuke tumbling out of the ring.

The crowd went wild. You glared at Shinsuke with malice as he struggled to stand. Grabbing the microphone from where you dropped it when you took the hit you held it up to your lips. “Mess with a Styles, and you’ll get a surprise of your life.” You said watching as Asuka and Shinsuke helped each other up the ramp. You watched them go and when you made sure they were far enough away you went to your brother. “AJ you okay?” You asked.

He stared at you in disbelief. “You’re amazing.” He said. You shook your head. “I only did a few of your moves. It was no big deal.” You said as you helped him up. You brought him to the center of the ring and handed him his belt back and helped him raise his arm.

But then

As you did suddenly AJ grabbed your arm and raised it. The crowd went crazy.

“STYLES! STYLES! STYLES!” The crowd screamed.

AJ looked at you before he said. “Welcome to SmackDown.”

Best opponents for Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 33

Since the announcement of his induction to the WWE Hall of Fame a few weeks ago, fans cannot and will not stop speculating Kurt Angle’s return to a WWE ring for a match at this years Wrestlemania. Fresh off his stellar showing with Alberto El Patron(Formerly Alberto Del Rio) at WCPW True Destiny in the UK, Angle proved that despite his age(48) he is still one of the best in ring workers in the business today.

It’s been over ten years since Angle wrestled in WWE and one final send off at “The Grandest Stage of Them All” will fully cement his legacy at one of the greatest. Now the hard part. Finding the perfect opponent for Angle at Wrestlemania. Here is a list of suitable opponents for Angle at this year’s ‘Showcase of the Immortals”.

1. AJ Styles

In a recent interview asking him who he would love to face in a potential return match, Angle replied with none other than the phenomenal AJ Styles. Comparing him to the likes of Shawn Michaels when it comes to in ring ability, AJ Styles proven track record and prior history with Angle during their tenures in TNA makes it a no brainer to book a Styles vs Angle match for Wrestlemania.

Despite there not being a spammy awards show for 2016, it is safe to say that AJ was superstar of the year. What he accomplished in just one year in WWE is astonishing and most likely won’t be repeated by anyone. One final showdown between the two greats will only elevate the hype surrounding Wrestlemania 33.

2. Samoa Joe

Another man with a proven track record against Angle and fresh off a main roster debut, Samoa Joe can and if given the chance, will put on a “Wrestlemania Calibre” match with Kurt Angle. Yes the two were a big part of the main event scene in TNA for several years but the two haven’t faced in WWE so why not have them duel it out again at Wrestlemania. With Joe being hotter than ever after shelving Seth Rollins during his Monday Night Raw debut, Joe can carry that heat into Wrestlemania and blow the roof off the roofless Camping World Stadium. With a match verses Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 33, Samoa Joe will be right where he belongs, “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”

3. Shinsuke Nakamura

Want a surefire way to make Sinsuke Nakamura main roster debut as memorable as possible? Put his against Kurt Angle. Nakamura has torn up NXT since his debut at NXT Takeover Dallas last year, becoming only the second superstar to will the NXT Championship more than once. His accolades don’t end there as he is one of the biggest stars to come out of NJPW in recent memory. Nakamura’s resume speaks for itself. IWGP Heavyweight Champion, IWGP Intercontinental Champion, IWGP Tag Team Champion, G1 Climax Tournament Champion… The list goes on. A main roster debut match against Kurt Angle would be a great addition to this already stacked resume.

4. Sami Zayn

Arguably one of the most under-utilized superstars on the main roster, Sami Zayn has some serious talent and he need to showcase that talent in the best way possible. A match with Kurt Angle is the perfect way to do so. Since his victory to rest his feud with Kevin Owens at last summer’s “Battleground”, Zayn has been treading water ever since. His feud with Braun Strowman was short lived and not very memorable. Despite earning a spot in the Royal Rumble and hanging in there for some time, Zayn still feels like an after thought. Hopefully his current feud with resident stupid idiot Chris Jericho will propel him back up the card.

After Jericho however is the best chance to solidify Sami Zayn as a top player. Facing Kurt Angle will do so. Sami Zayn has proven he can work with the best of the best and a match with Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 33 will set up the rest of his 2017 very nicely.

5. John Cena

John Cena entered the WWE back in 2002 when he answered Kurt Angle’s open challenge and showed the WWE universe the meaning of “Ruthless Aggression”. With that in mind it seems only fitting that Cena be there for Angles departure. Now that John Cena is free for Wrestlemania after getting pinned by eventual winner of the Elimination Chamber and new WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, this is a perfect chance to have “Big Match John” show the world why we call him that. Ten plus years in the making, John Cena vs Kurt Angle. This match is made for Wrestlemania so if the company wants to capitalize of the return of the olympic hero, John Cena is a safe bet.

Now of course Vince McMahon has to give Angle the green light to step back into the squared circle but judging by his recent work, he is still in quality shape to be competing against the worlds best. Kurt Angle deserves all the accolades he will receive during Wrestlemania weekend, but a return to the ring would be something special the entire WWE universe deserves.
