I'm archiving each of Gretel's classes/jobs in 6-11 second long videos (Most of these are not looped perfectly, but if there's a Gretel you really want to eternally float on your screen, just send me an ask and I'll try uploading a better version before EoS).
HOWEVER I am missing a few jobs so if anyone would be interested in recording clips of the following:
Paladin
Greedy Crow Paladin
Sloth Bear Minstrel
Divine Fortitude Breaker (+Job Story)
WGC
World
I will also upload the text of the translated job stories that have not already been added to the SINoALICE database.
EDIT: i wanted to do these in order of release, but tumblr mobile is incredibly buggy+due to some errors of my own....im just gonna have to settle with how it is now. i probably also wont post minstrel, half-nightmare and yukata unless requested since they are my least favorite classes and they would be at the very top.

Rare to find PV as of this date of the PV for Servant of Thrones x SINoALICE featuring Snow White. I think? couldn't find it in Japanese on Google/youtube so I assume it's hard to find. Features new art of her cleric design and I happen to find it archiving my Twitter and requesting a zip Features brand new art of Snow White/Cleric, and not by Jino, but by their game's artist. Impressive replica of the style though.
I also found hard to find footage of Akazukin's original voice actor. If you weren't around for year 1 in JP (she departed late 2018), you may not know this but Akazukin/Red Riding Hood was originally voiced by Ayaka Imamura before she retired in 2018. All traces of her lines were taken out the game at the same time and replaced for her 2018-2023 voice actor, Rika Tachibana Global never got to hear Imamura's Akazukin unless they dug really, really hard for the very few recordings by JP players on Youtube as Tachibana is who they heard from the get go. Thus, due to the sad circumstances, Akazukin/Mage was given to us JP players in the next 2018 event (I wanna say Christmas) for free in the event medal shop for commemoration and a livestream was held.

SINoALICE Global server is now closed. I know it was just a game, but it's still hard to sort out my feelings. I really got attached to it, to the world, to the story and especially to characters. Gretel was my favourite and I put a lot of love into making fanarts of him. It was the first time a character other than my own resonated with me so well. Thanks to SINoALICE, I made great friends and had a lot of fun, even devs featured both of my Gretel fanarts on their stream which was an amazing experience.
I guess it's the perfect time to present my fanart I titled "kiss of death".
Goodbye, SINoALICE. See you all in another library!

Well, it's been a great journey...
(This writeup is very late to the party because I've been busy, sorry!)
As of the end of November 2023, SINoALICE has been shut down. Looking back it's wild how fond I had grown for the game in the 3 years I played Global.
The story was very edgy and outrageous at points but I discovered characters who I latched onto and found their motivations interesting. The biggest one (obviously) being The Little Mermaid; her desire to revive her author to make her story even sadder because she believed the tragedy is what made the story beautiful was an interesting character twist. Like, she's not wrong! The story of The Little Mermaid wouldn't be what it is without the tragic ending (well...it would be a Disney movie I guess 🙄). And her constant desire to find delight/beauty in the tragic could be played for both laughs and seriousness. Every time a new class of hers was released on a banner I grinded for it like crazy, and I ended up with a collection of cute Mermaid outfits that I was really proud of!
My second favorite character was Dorothy, a cheery mad scientist with no regards for boundaries or ethics. Whenever Dorothy was added to a story event, you knew you were in for a good time. I really liked her design as well; she had the most outrageous outfits! If I was ever going to cosplay a character from SINoALICE it would probably be her. And of course many of the other characters worked their charm on me and it was fun every time we got to see a new combination of characters interact with each other.
Any time there was a collab event I really enjoyed myself, even if I had no familiarity with many of the IPs being collabed with. I particularly have fond memories of the 'Fishing Star World Tour' collab because of how hard I grinded in order to obtain the eye-popping fishing pole nightmares that were available as raids...I got both of them AND enough to max limit break them! I also couldn't get away without mentioning 'An End to Summer Dreams', the clam-fishing event that introduced the beloved Lammy; it was one of the first medal events that I participated in after I joined and it felt really fun to be part of the Lammy zeitgeist.
And of course, I can't go without shouting out my amazing guild, JellicleCats...what a fun gang to be a part of. We never aimed to be super colo competitive but we did our best, had some really nice victories, and the slimiest losses! Everyone in the guild was so good-natured, making jokes and swapping strategy advice. At the very end I worked my way up to being the top-ranked vanguard of the group and #4 ranked overall; I'm so happy I could work hard and do well by my teammates!
Tumblr media
I am not one to play a lot of gachas in general, SINoALICE was definitely my first foray into playing a gacha fairly seriously, but I don't think I could've asked for a better experience. I was a F2P player and proud that I never once felt coerced into making a purchase. Some people may deride me for being proud of that fact, that it means I never gave the game my support, but I believe that a healthy gacha atmosphere crucially depends on making space for people who wish to be F2P without suffering gameplay-wise for it. I supported SINoALICE with my passion, with logging in every day to see what new twist the game would bring, with making good friends.
SINoALICE took up a lot of my time and I won't say I'm a tiny bit glad to be free of the obligation of constantly being on my phone, but I definitely will miss it. Thank you to all the developers who worked on the game to make this bonkers story come true, and thank you to everyone who played and who I ever got a chance to meet throughout the game!

10 Characters from 10 Fandoms
Tagged by @zylphiacrowley , ty ty~
These are mostly in whatever order they popped up in my head, since I was hit with the "instantly forget everything you've ever liked" beam when I started writing this.
Tumblr media
Hythlodaeus - Final Fantasy XIV I wuv purple wife guy... All the way from when he was just a weenwoon ghost. Honestly, FFXIV has sooo many good characters that picking just one feels kinda weird haha.
Tumblr media
DIY - Welcome to My Home Help, the bastard chuuni wizard in a big hat has me by the throat. Everyone else seems ready to strangle him (both npcs and other players). And then there's me who's spamming the heart emote at him every chance I can lol.
Tumblr media
Waka - Okami Another bastard of a man. Like FFXIV, Okami has tons of cool characters! But teen me latched into Waka so hard on my first playthrough. And listen. He's a pretty man with long hair, nice voice AND has a flute that he both plays and uses as a laser sword in battle. Yeah. Oh and he shows up to tell you mysterious (and funny) prophecies.
Tumblr media
Wei Wuxian - Mo Dao Zu Shi (Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) I'll be honest, he came to mind while writing Waka's thing (club long haired flute playing guys lol). But yeah, he fits in the "morally grey, overly dramatic and little asshole-ish pretty boy with long hair" category I happen to like very much.
Tumblr media
Ukitake Jushiro - Bleach Long white hair! Twin swords! Gentle and silly old man who can kick your ass! Bleach was one of my first animes ever, and I still like the setting itself (and many of the characters).
Tumblr media
Courier - Arknights First one that had me going "oh I like him, he's never leaving my team". Also first one I E2'd, and he's still my go-to vanguard for almost every stage. Who can say no to that adorable little smile and voicelines offering to make you food~
Tumblr media
Blade - nu:carnival Cute white haired assassin android boy! I started this game thinking I'd fixate on Edmont based on the website character infos, but nope, Blade being cute airhead with love for cute things (and Darling) got me first.
Tumblr media
Sleeping Beauty (Briar Rose/Ibarahime) - SINoALICE Game may be gone but having played it for it's entire global run I felt I needed to include it haha. And! Who better than the character that got me into it~ Sleepy's basically what it says in the jar - she prefers to sleep 24/7 and will react violently if you try to force her awake.
Tumblr media
Devola & Popola - Nier Automata Cheating and putting them both (lol). I love 9S too, but kinda felt like they deserved to get mentioned so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Idk what it is about them, but I spent a very long time just standing next to them when they first showed up haha. I'm specifically mentioning the Automata ones, since I met them first, and am yet to finish my Replicant playthrough (ooops)
Tumblr media
Mashita Satoru - Death Mark I had hard time picking the last one since I didn't wanna go "too far back" in things I like/used to like, so I went with Death Mark since the second one came out not too long ago. The other characters are cool too, but Mashita is fan favorite for a reason. Guess we all love snarky detective who looks like he could really use some sleep.
Hoooo boy it was harder than I thought haha. I mainly only interact with FFXIV fandom, but at least I kinda.... glance towards these other 9 mentioned sometimes? Also purposefully skipping Ensemble Stars even tho I'm currently active player - I could not choose between Mika and Rei, and honestly straight up ignore 99,99% of the fandom.

Well, since reincarnation’s global servers shut down next month here’s my top squad. Pretty good considering I gave them $0.00. Like as far as free to plays go reincarnation was VERY generous with the items and gems you got and how many events they did. Like I never felt like I was severely hampered by being f2p. I am bummed that It’s wrapping up but am happy I’ll get to see the conclusion!
I will also say, compared to sinoalice? This was a way better experience overall. SINoALICE would move slower than an injured snail when it came to main story updates/localization to the point where I could log in once every 6 months and be caught up in a day. With reincarnation there were still gaps between story updates but they were fully voiced and animated so I never felt like it was all for nothing. And I didn’t like the conclusion. It felt kinda rushed and like an “oh shit they’re kicking us out quick write an ending!!” And this upsets me to say because I was SO hype for SINoALICE to be globalized. Like frothing at the mouth. It’s a shame but thems the breaks.
If you never got around to playing, I actually recommend looking up playthroughs if you can. Just like the drakenier games before it, the soundtrack and voices are bangers, and if you’re balls deep in this universe like I unfortunately am you’re gonna need the lore anyway

Rest in peace SINoALICE 😭
Again, I wish I spent more time playing this game, but I cherish the memories I made in Global, and JP (JP all those years ago. Thank God for all the assistance JP provided so I could reach the finale 😭)
Expect to still see occasional sinoalice content on this blog, it lives rent free in my head

You and tales of crestoria 🤝 me and final fantasy record keeper
I think they killed mine bc it was unprofitable (it was so so so ineffective to put real money into <3<3<3) and unpopular, but they really should've considered that i, the most important bird in the world, enjoyed it. Or some other reason that i could probably google *shrug
I miss it every day 💔💔💔🐦
Duuuuude, I played Record Keeper for a bit when it was new!!!!! I heard it was just the global version that shut down but the JP version is still going, so yeah, global probably just wasn't making enough money to be worth running. So, ya know. RK's still kinda alive but ToC is dead and buried. Lmao, not to diminish the RK situation cuz I'm sure restarting on JP would just absolutely not be worth the hassle so definitely still kind of a Lost Lenore.
I kinda wish Opera Omnia would consider adding characters from the other FF mobile games cuz there's untapped potential there. Like add Tyro at least for RK rep. And Wol from Mobius FF, which I also miss a lot!!!! I don't want Mobius to ever be forgotten. Plus the BE crew, but that's the only one that's shockingly still going strong. Meanwhile Square's adding TikTok influencers to Be:WotV, so :/
Man this sent me down a rabbit hole of other Square mobile games. I played both Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin and Star Ocean: Anamnesis without knowing anything about the original series but I loved those games and they didn't really last longer than 2-3 years. Plus the global server for SINoALICE either shutdown within the last week or is shutting down real soon. Even the JP server is being rumored to shut down relatively soon, but idk if that's willingly or not cuz they're supposedly taking their time to wrap up the story at least.
Both Square and Bamco just seem so bad at keeping most of their gachas alive. And years of constantly having good gachas I like getting shutting down has really given me a fear for all of them that I play. I genuinely don't believe Ever Crisis is gonna last more than a year and everyday I play Star Rail I'm afraid it's suddenly gonna bomb suddenly and get shut down. Tho Hoyoverse seems real good about that not happening with their games, but still when I see people say HSR is dipping it makes me a little paranoid and I gotta remind myself they just got bored and wanna find a reason to justify it.
Like honestly, I know mobile games get a lot of shit for how many of them are low quality and the massive amount of gachas that want your money from your gambling addiction, but I love the genre so much. I've found so many good games that are gachas and it sucks that the state/economy/whatever of the genre is so so fragile that the slightest dip in sales means it's existence has to be ripped out of the universe regardless of how good it may be. It's not like they stop selling it but you still have your copy like it's a console game or you can just emulate it once it closes. When it's gone, it's gone. People can record cutscenes and rip models and assets, but you can never play it again. At least thank god for those one-in-a-million games that leave up offline versions when they shutdown, but in all my life of mobile gaming I've only seen two, KHUX and Tokimeki Idol.
Anyway sorry to ramble on about the topic, I'm just feeling mega sad now about it all and I don't know what could possibly be done to like, make the mobile game scene better? At least about this issue. But I doubt anything ever would be done in terms of not losing games forever anyway.

Directory: Assets | Highres art | Other media | Event | Weapon | Class Audio & Video | Story
Not a roleplay blog, not a fansite. Not interactive. Since mobile games are fleeting, this is an archiving project for all official things Aladdin. Only official material will be put on this blog. Run by Six. Mod does not wish to be perceived.
Welcome! Here’s a proper about for this blog. I will post class/weapon stories and type his events up, ect. Class art itself and stamps are not extracted by me, big thanks to the database for that. I am simply a strong warrior putting his official content in one place.
I don’t like social media so sometimes I may do giant dumps then leave for months. I do not play global SINoALICE; translations are provided from either the database or my friends who do. I do however play JP SINoALICE. (RIP)
Class/Weapon stories are left image first, right image second. For the main archive/Hamelin counterpart, see @aestheticanimosity

Random long post about a game I love:
A gacha game I've been playing every day for the last couple years called SinoALICE announced a few days back that its going to be ending service by the end of October, at least on the global server.
Its weird trying to kinda deal with that cause on one hand I barely play it during the day but also I love its characters and story and writing and music so much that I've stuck with it for about 3 years now.
A memory I have is that at a certain point in the game I was having a lot of trouble beating a level for a story I really wanted to see, and tried asking my guild for help. My guild members were mostly inactive, and so I didn't get any offers. So, wanting to beat this, I left and joined a different guild.
The guild immediately welcomed me openly, and when I started by asking if anybody could help me beat the level, about 4 people offered, one of which being Kenshee, the leader of thr guild. His strength in the game was beyond what I even thought possible and with their help I steamrolled the boss I was fighting and several others after that. I felt welcomed and wanted, and for the first time I can think of I felt part of an online community even if I didn't know all the people.
For the next two years, I participated in the daily colosseum. I did this because I wanted to give back and help these people that were so kind to help me. When the enemy was too hard, we'd just set it to auto battle and use the 20 minutes it takes to talk to each other, catch up, talk about games we're excited for, which often spilled over to normal group chat after it ended. I was never the strongest member of the guild, in fact I was often the weakest. However, once I was too weak to be automatically placed in the vanguard, I moved myself to the back to try to focus on support roles. I felt a little left out. But my guild members asked me what I was doing so far in the back and told me to come forward. I was weak, and not able to help much, but they wanted me near the front cause they liked me and wanted me around.
It was a huge guild full of people I barely knew, but I felt so welcomed and so loved. We all loved the game and the story and were united in that.
At a certain point, a person I got particularly close to named Sarnai said that she was getting tired of keeping up with the game, and that she would leave. But, she offered for anybody that wants to keep in touch with her. I reached out, and now instead of being Sarnai my friend from the guild, she's my friend Jen, a 30 year old lesbian from England who moved to Ireland to be with her wife who likes writing fanfic. This is somebody so different from me and yet I had the privilege to meet her.
Over time, as the game went on, people had trouble keeping up with the game, and over time a lot of people, including the group leader Kenshee ended out leaving. At the same time, I met new people, like Mocchiato and Yjennes and Wraith. Cool, friendly people.
Now, the game announces end of service. The story has a definitive ending, one that the Japanese server is remarkably close to. And yet, they're just going to end the story here. 3 full story arcs left, and yet they're cutting it off, like if Breaking Bad ended at season 4 or something. I can easily just look it up online, but I won't be experiencing beating it, and definitely not with these people that I consider my friends.
On top of that, currently, the game is doing its monthly "Gran Colosseum" events, where guilds compete and win rewards like upgrade materials, new weapons and classes, and in-game currency to use the gacha mechanic. It also has a "Big Thanks" gacha event going on where you get to do daily free pulls. Coincidentally I recently watched a video from Jacob Geller where he talked about a book/movie called "On the Beach" where citizens in Australia continue to go about their daily lives despite knowing an apocalypse is coming for them in 6 months. It asks the question of "when do you give up? When do you stop doing daily routines? When does comfort outweigh acceptance?"
A weird analogy, and barely equivalent, but it makes me feel the same way. The game gives me crystals to spend on a gacha system thats shutting down, and gives me upgrade materials to improve my ability to fight in a story that won't exist soon. A character in On the Beach plants seeds that won't sprout until 6 months after the earth is dead. Context is completely different, but the feeling of not being able to accept but acknowledging the end of something feels like it applies in both ways.
This is a long post, so I'm stopping, but I just wanted to record my thoughts about a game that means a lot to me, that I loved playing, that I found in a very lonely time of my life and has been a constant in a very confusing world. I love the people I met as if they're friends I've had for years, and I dont even know most of their names. Its that community I'll miss the most.
Anyways, this was just a stream of thought. But like I said. I want to put down in words my difficult feelings about this. I love sinoalice and even if I keep in touch with some guild members or switch to the JP server or watch the rest of the story on YouTube, that feeling won't be the same. But I'm at least thankful I got to have it.

Once upon a time there was a library. No, there were many, many libraries, as many libraries as there were thoughts in the world, and then more. In each of the many, many libraries, fairy-tale characters were born. "Do you wish to meet your author?" the dolls asked. "I do," the characters replied. "In that case, you will have to defeat everyone else. When you are the only character left, your wish will be granted."
And so the fairy-tale characters killed, and they killed, and they killed, and they killed, and they killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killed, killedkilledkilledkilledkilledkilledkilledkilledkilledkilledkilledkilledKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLEDKILLED until there was no one left.
independent sinoalice-based multimuse, mun is stardust (28, they/she/he, sweden). muse list is whoever i feel like, but mostly red riding hood and little mermaid probably? you can mainly find me on toestalucia and flovverworks. sinoalice has yoko taro involved, if u know what to expect. sino is 'how do we make it edgier', 'i am choosing violence' and 'then everyone died' the story. source material has a lot of content warnings (global is eos'ing in november tho🎉), but i will mostly be touching onto the violence and death cuz uhhhh i dont rly have an interest in talking about the rest here. i don't wanna see things that falls under proshipping, that should explain the gist of it. mutuals only. icon-less. low-activity, i'll mostly be here to fool around.
there's multiple versions of each character in the library, and there are multiple libaries, as well as them having reality versions etcetc this and that. reality mermy and library mermy are the same but they're also not. reality versions do have canon names but i will keep referring to them as their library name cuz...easy. + i like the concept of them introducing themselves but all you can really hear/see is (fairytale character name).

"twofacedangels: I tried to! years ago, when I was in high school, but I only watched it fully like a couple days ago. Rebellion was REALLY good. Loved the character development everyone got, the twists, the amazing animation, ez 10/10!"
YEAH, GOOD TASTE! Glad you were finally able to get into it!
"sinoalice was a gear gacha, where you'd pull more for weapons than characters - very coop and guild focused. died officially on January since they completed the story and…. for any gacha I say that's pretty successful.
the developers were …. a little rough to work with on the global side, since we were lower priority but if it lasted almost 7 years in JP they couldn't have been that bad."
I don't know the usual life cycle of a gacha, but it sounds...at least better than most, as far as survival. Though I can't speak to whether that equates to a particularly good game. FEH is still running, after all.
